WOW, what a great experience. Arrived on time for our reservation and were quickly seated. Complimentary Papadums with Mint Yogurt Sauce arrived at the table before our food started coming out! And they were tasty. We ordered: - Butter Naan. Great naan. Just enhances an Indian meal. - Chicken Vindaloo. Was excited they could alter the heat level to a medium. Perfectly cooked. The sauce was flavored with tamarind, vinegar, garlic and red chilies. Perfect combination and the chicken was tender but not falling apart. - Daal Tadka. Yellow daals that were some of the best. The daal were cooked in an onion gravy to a soft tender lentil and not total mush. - Lamb Chops. The best lamb chops we have ever had. Presentation was beautiful. Three perfect chops, with a smallish salad and a mint sauce. We could have ordered 4 orders and been happy. - Cumin Rice. Was great mixed with both the daal and vindaloo. - Buttered Naan. The naan came out piping hot and gingerly topped with a bit of butter. What a meal. Maybe the best Indian food we have ever had. And we have had a lot in many different countries. Service was great. Prices were very reasonable. Recommend booking in advance. Highly recommend.

Naan was so tasty that we added another order. Really friendly, patient service. Upstairs area was very inviting and great air flow. Parking was convenient - plenty of spots on the streets outside.

As we sat there silently holding hands at dinner for the sixth consecutive night, I began to felt a…read morestirring in my loins. A stirring that could only be tamed by the savory taste of chicken tikka masala and a side of jasmine rice, atop garlic naan bread. The meal was delivered the speed of the great Indian elephant. Which you may not think of as a fast animal but Indian elephants can actually travel at speeds up to 36 kph, making it the second fastest land mammal that has tusks. I was quite thankful that the meal had been delivered so quickly, as Jensica and I are still not on speaking terms. The food was expertly prepared with the very same passion and strength that Jensica used to love me with. For that reason I am forever greatful to the Indian Empire restaurant for giving me a brief escape from my world of uncertainty, and welcoming me into their world of flavor. 5 out of 5 stars.

You know these food court Indian eateries? You just KNOW you're going to get generic dulled down oily food because it's "safe" and palatable for the masses? Well, this place had prices that definitely did not match the food and the service was... Well, shit. As we sat down, we got the complimentary poppadums and mint yoghurt. The first bite was delicious but, as my uncle pointed out, it was too sweet and... Fake. I had to concur. At least the poppadums were alright. We ordered a wide variety of dishes too: Lamb Madras Lamb vindaloo Sagh panir Vegetable korma - extremely bland. Malai lofta And five roti. And an extremely overpriced bottle of wine which we knew for a fact was being sold in the supermarket for single-digit prices. Sorry, guys, but your establishment needs a major rehaul both in quality and lowering prices. If you want cheap Indian, you may as well go to the local mall's food court, at least you'll know what to expect and save about 75% of what we spent - over $200. Epic fail.
