I traveled all the way from the DC area to Houston to get my tattoos done, and I can honestly say…read morethe trip was completely worth it! My artist was absolutely amazing--so kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. She took her time to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and made us feel comfortable from start to finish. What meant the most was that she even stayed past closing time to make sure our tattoos were finished rather than rushing us. You can truly tell that she cares about her work and her clients. I'm so happy with how our tattoos turned out and would 100% travel from DC to Houston again to have her tattoo me! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Sky at Sky Ink in Katy Tx, look at this beautiful piece! The detail is incredible,…read moreshe is very light handed and was able to knock this piece out in 1 session. Sky far exceeded my expectations with this tattoo. I gave her a lot of freedom and I think she really loved the project as much as I did. The atmosphere is fun and trendy, yet comfy and cool with couches, fun neon signs, and honeycomb LED lighting on the ceiling. They also have some snacks available. If you are looking for quality fine line work, Sky is the artist to see. Sky, how can I thank you enough for the confidence you've given me with this tattoo? Truly priceless! Thank you for your time, attention to detail and heart to heart chats. I felt like I came in a stranger and left a friend.

March 2026 Update: I recently reached out to the studio…read morebecause their public response to my original review came across as sincere and open to making things right. They apologized for the miscommunication, acknowledged the issue, and invited me to return so we could "discuss how to make it right." However, when I contacted them privately, the tone was completely different. Instead of the openness expressed publicly, I was told they "don't think we would be the best fit" because I had shared my experience in a review. The message was defensive, dismissive, and focused on reiterating their pricing rather than addressing the actual concerns I raised -- the inconsistency, the lack of transparency, and the way I was treated when I returned to the shop. I'm adding this update because there is a clear difference between the studio's public-facing tone and their private follow‑through. I reached out in good faith based on their own invitation, but the response I received did not match the sincerity shown in their public comment. Future clients deserve to know both sides of the interaction.

When I went back to get my jewelry changed, the guy took out the old jewelry in my tragus and didn't put in a needle so it wouldn't close up while he was getting the new jewelry to put in. The piercing hole closed. He tried to force it in multiple times. There was a lot of blood. He lied and said there was a little. He barely cleaned the blood off my ear. I had to clean it off when I got home. I was in a lot of pain for several days. He also bruised the inside of my ear with the tool he used and now I have two large bumps on the inside and outside of my piercing.
