Had issues with my neighbors violating the lease...noise issues, letting their dog shit in front of my front door. Inspire was very condescenindg and rude. Found out my neighbors actually know the owners and the owners let them do what they want but Inspire just lied about everything. Stay away from them.

Coming from Northern California, we always dreamed of having some roots in JT, Yucca, or Twentynine Palms and with Merl and Dori's help, we found the second home of our dreams. Our time was a tad short for the search so we had created a list of 8-10 places and Merl made it happen - we saw everything in 2 days. Merl was honest and helpful explaining pros and cons, being a long time resident of this area. It is amazing how many people he knows. Every other stop, people came up to him saying hello. Once we took the plunge, when I drove 7-hours down to get the renovation started, he helped me remove some chollas (cacti with barbed spines) right when I arrived to make sure my 3 big dogs wouldn't have a tango with them. He genuinely cares that you find the best situation and have a good experience, knowing it's a difficult process and lots to consider. We love Merl and Dori and have definitely settled in nicely in the abode we picked in JT. After some work, we are really happy with how it eventually turned out. A big thanks to them both in making us feel welcome in joining the community!

If I could give Elena 10 stars out of 5 I would! We hired Elena to do our maternity photoshoot, and…read moreit couldn't have gone better. While the location was already pretty gorgeous, she did an amazing job directing us in terms of poses, lighting, and scenery. Her eye was spot on-- the pictures are amazing! Perhaps more importantly, her kindness and energy was so conducive to us having a relaxed, fun, and loving photoshoot. She really put us at ease at the results speak for themselves. Once we have our baby, we will have to come back to have a followup session. Having looked through the range of photographers in the area (there are a lot), we are so happy we went with Elena, as her prices were reasonable and the end product is worth every penny. Thank you Elena!

The entire experience from early communications, answering questions and responding very quickly were all flawless. She genuinely wanted to know about our family and what we wanted to accomplish, then leveraged her experience and knowledge of the local area to create an unforgettable experience. She was engaging and patient with all of the family members. She also knew the right time of day to have the best light and an amazing sunset! After the photoshoot, she had initial edits available the very next day with a personalized page that was amazing! Since then, she has posted additional photos, which have all been incredible. Thank you so much!

I stayed in an Airbnb with this company. This company is a little unorganized in how they manage…read moretheir properties and cannot take criticism well. I can see from their responses on here that I am not the only one who was blamed for the problems that occurred during our stay. I feel the need to make a thorough review since the response to my review on Airbnb seemed to need clarification on the timeline of when/how things went down. When we arrived, the manager came unexpectedly to take photos of the place before we settled in. No big deal, but thought it was weird that they weren't prepared for us. After the manager left, we noticed the gas was left on and propane tanks were empty on both the fire pit and the grill. We messaged them on Airbnb right away. While we were waiting for a response, we found two propane tanks on the side of the house, so we hooked them up to the grill and fire pit, which is when we noticed the grill was not working. I guess the message about the propane was received (although no response yet at this time) because the manager came back to drop off one tank of propane in which she dropped off by the gate without saying anything. As I saw her car leave, I waved her down to come back because the grill still did not work. She came to look at the grill, and then sent a maintenance person out to us. Thankfully the problem was fixed within 2.5 hours after we checked in. Additionally, the little pool on the property was not clean, the hot tub was low on water (the jets would spray water everywhere unless 3+ people were inside at the same time), and the remote for the light in one of the bedrooms was missing. I know nothing is perfect, I'm a reasonable person. I posted a respectable, honest, and nice review on Airbnb, but simply mentioned the hiccups that occurred. I even left a 4 star review. Their reply was surprisingly petty, blaming us for the problems that occurred. On the public airbnb response, they claimed that me and my guests checked-in early, and if we would have just checked in on time, the problems would have been fixed on time for our check-in. They also said that when the manager came to take photos of the place initially, that's when she discovered the grill was broken. That is not how it went down. She took photos of the grill AFTER I waved her down the second time she came to the place to drop off the propane. The grill took 2.5 hours to fix, and the other details (propane tanks empty, missing remote, low water in hot tub, dirty pool) would have taken quite some time to fix/clean/prepare. Blaming us for "checking in early" is unfair. Whatever problems that occurred would have taken significantly longer than a couple of minutes, especially given the fact that fixing the grill in itself took a few hours. I understand that not everything is perfect, but the fact that they felt the need to blame me and the other guests for checking in early when we literally pulled into the drive way at 2:58-2:59 (check the cameras) is what really got to me. It's not like anything would have changed if we pulled into the driveway a minute or two later. When the manager initially came to take photos, she could have checked the grill, fire pit, pool, etc then, but she just took photos and left. They were simply unprepared, but blamed us for checking in 1-2 mins early as if that would change anything. Judging from their responses, it seems they cannot take criticism well. Criticism is what makes a business better for the future, but they immediately jump to blaming guests which is a shame. Most Airbnb hosts would apologize for the inconvenience, but instead I got blamed for checking in (literally) 1-2 minutes earlier. Edit to add: I was ASKED to leave a google review. Your response still does not address the fact that you actually lied in your response to make you look better. You lied by saying we "checked in early" instead of just saying "we apologize and we will take this into account for the future" like literally every Airbnb host with maturity would do. But instead you blame us for checking in early when actually did not do so. Saying if we checked in 2 mins later would have changed ALL those problems is simply a lie and not true. Your response actually proves my point that you can't take criticism well and are very immature to be owning a business. Please don't blame guests for all of your problems. I've never had an Airbnb NOT apologize for the inconvenience and have never been blamed for checking in 1-2 mins early, which you know is true since you have not addressed that part of my statement. Learn from your mistakes and move on.

We booked an air bnb on our move from LA to Vegas with a one night stopover in Yucca Valley. They notified us 2 hrs before our arrival the hot tub didn't work (which is why we booked the space) and offered a nominal refund. I accepted it and they still cancelled the reservation as WE WERE ALREADY ON THE PROPERTY AT CHECK-IN. Why did they cancel on us in 100 degree heat at 3Pm with my service animal and pet in the car? How unsafe is this to leave us with no place to go in the desert? 'Karen' didn't care. She presumed to call the owners to tell them we were trespassing.. and the police came. What in the world? I had a reservation I paid for & living with a medical disability and leaving me and my service animal and dog out in the desert sun was her purpose - to keep us in danger. I don't know about you, but if this is the kind of thing that happens with air bnb and a rental agency, you're not safe with them. Your family is UNSAFE on any property they manage. Do NOT book with Hi-Desert dwellings. They will literally kick you out when you have a reservation based on her mood. We are taking legal recourse now to hopefully save anyone else from a potential nightmare.
