"how is the energy level?" she asked me and I just responded, "good, lots of energy." Then she said, "I bet your regretting your choice with this puppy." Who says that? Why would I ever regret getting my beautiful puppy? Ignornat. Then the Vet Dr. Brenner walked in. I went in for my puppies first vaccinations. She talked all over the place about everything but the vaccinations and ended up not giving him any vaccinations which is why I was there in the first place. the only reason i was there was for his vaccinations. Then she started telling me how long of a leash I need, how to train him to not pee in the house anymore, how to train him with food. All things I already know because I am not a first time dog owner but she spoke to me like I did not know what I am doing even though I specifically stated I am experienced with dogs. Then she started talking about what she does with "her puppies" like she is referring to my puppy as her puppy and she does not give puppies too many vaccinations too soon and only gave me flee and tick medication. they still charged me 150 dollars plus not even providing me the service I actually went in for. Now I tried calling within hours of operation last night 10/5/2026 to change my appointment for today 10/6/2026 and no answer saying they are closed even though i called 1 hour and a half before their closing time. then i called the next morning after they opened and same voicemail claiming they are currently closed. My first experience of this place was no service given for what I actually booked an appointment for, spoke to like an idiot not knowing anything about dogs even though I told Dr. Brenner I know how to train dogs, what length leash I should get, and a question if I regretted my choice of picking this puppy. If i could, i would give a -5 out of 10 stars. I am not even pursing the appointment as I am going else where and now im out of 150 bucks for apparently no reason

I was new to the area and read the reviews because i have been to good and bad vets and i really do my research or vets in the area. The research and reviews don't lie: Go to this one if you want honest doctors, kind doctors, and ones that will give it to you straight and not milk you for extra unnecessary tests. That is not to say they don't put the priority of the health of your kitties first because they do. If you have an emergency and call, this office is the first to pick up and the first to see if they can get your cat in ASAP. They were like this before and during COVID19. Patty is the woman at the front desk and is calming, in control and patient. The vets here I have used have been amazing with my cat in that she is a pampered princess who yes travels by stroller (LOL) but she is like a banshee when you try and do anything you don't want her to do (ie temperature checks or pedicures)! I always apologize for the what the vets have to go through when they deal with my little girl but they are so good at what they do my cat doesn't stand a chance! Those nails are getting clipped haha!! In all seriousness though, I have had two emergencies where my cat was very sick and this is the first place I called. Each time they treated me with comfort and professionalism and took my cat in immediately. They are busy but they really care about their community here and make you a priority. They are good at what they do, like really good. They listen to you and they understand the animal. They have brought my girl from not eating or drinking to being the crazy little premadonna she is! I am always grateful for them. They don't price gauge either. Their prices are honest and they do great work. They also have called me to check in on my cats progress which, for a busy office, I know that takes time out of their day but it really speaks to their commitment to the health of our furry babies and to the good souls and kind hearts this office has. The location - it's the ground floor of a home where other pets live. My current and previous dogs always seemed anxious and ready to leave ASAP at all other vets offices I've taken them to, but here my girl doesn't want to leave. She looks forward to it - she knows when we're getting close and can't wait to get out of the car. It's also located right across the street from Loantaka Brook Reservation for a nice pre or post visit walk in the park. 2. The care - John gets right down to the animals level and follows them to where they are comfortable (vs forcing them on to a table), all the while talking in soothing tones and giving treats. Annie also is always ready with the treats (I think a major selling point my dog would want me to point out!) 3. No "sales" atmosphere. They can and will do all the tests, give all the treatments your pet needs to be comfortable and healthy but there has never been any unnecessary testing or pressure like at other vets offices. They also are totally fine with you ordering meds (if required) online. Of you want a calm, reassuring and no pressure vet that gives your pet the best possible care, I can't recommend this place enough!

But we do listen to him because his love for animals is so evident it makes me so relieved that my puppy's health is in good hands. When my puppy was sick and my husband was at work, they loaned me a crate to drive her over in and let is keep it until her check up appointment. They snuggle my pup the way I do and being able to trust my vet loves animals and even my pup as much as I do is a god send.

They are located at least 40 minutes away from me but they were completely worth the drive and then some. Dr Goswami, Nicole and Anne-Marie are very friendly and kind. During my visit they were very comforting not only to my dog but to myself. Similar to my other vet, there were challenges performing the removal. Dr Goswami kept me updated throughout the procedure and made sure I was aware of the cost so there were no surprises. Finally Dr Goswami performed acupuncture to help my boy. Once again, Dr. Jon Miller, the Chief Surgeon, via phone, assisted with making arrangements to have Stella's X-rays taken along with performing a needle biopsy of her (external) umbilicus to ensure the cells were benign. Although I was, again, concerned over having Stella sedated to support acceptable radiology results, the staff assured me that she would be in good hands as they reviewed the procedure in detail. It was a short time later that Stella was brought out by Dr. Miller himself, much to my pleasure. Aside from being a bit groggy, Stella appeared ready to go home with her injury and recovery process now behind her. In this review, I will, once again, indicate how pleased we have been with all of the staff at Eclipse and moreover, that of Dr. Jon Miller. Dr. Miller is a wonderful communicator, has continued to demonstrate concern and care for Stella responding to all of our questions in a timely, detailed manner. I could not ask for a better setting for Stella's care! It is too bad that Eclipse does not operate similar to a "normal" Vet practice; if it did, I would not hesitate to bring Stella to their offices throughout the year. So, thank you Dr. Miller for your interpersonal skills both in and out of the surgery room! I can now say that I would not trust anyone else to do what you have accomplished during the corrective surgery of Stella's LR leg.

They still do all those services, and they do them well, but let me tell you a couple of reasons the stars have disappeared. * The price. Has at least doubled, maybe more, in the last few years. I get what it can cost to maintain quality care... but other places can provide the same care for FAR less. * The service. Has dropped way down. They know my pet very well, and they know she hates travel, but the last time I brought her there they gave me a very hard time about coming for a checkup and getting a dental cleaning the same day "because it's been more than a year". I had to convince them they knew what my cat needed. Then they gave me the same talk this time, and I did not bring her there. * The lack of care. The last time I brought her there, they removed her teeth without calling me to let me know. "Oh, the teeth were receding into the gum." YOU CALL ME FIRST. Period stop. And they trimmed her claws, which they have never done before and I never do because she never uses them. She hurt for weeks from that, wondering where the tips went. Poor soul. I'm going to side with the latest reviews that have been heading downhill. Something has changed here for the very worse. I hope the good doctors and other staff that are left can find better vets to supply their services. For now, maintaining 2 stars only because I believe there is quality somewhere back there... but I'm not testing it anymore.

Doc Lewis got on the floor and played with Hondo before he did anything and the two of them hit it off immediately. I never witnessed Hondo eager to go see his buddy like he does now.
