I will never forget the spot landing contest he organized and all of us student pilots competing trying to land as close to the 5 pound bag of flour as possible. We had a blast! I went on to pass my FAA written exam and fly a 500 mile 3 leg solo cross country. This experience gave me so much confidence and I owe it all to Mr Leroy Walters.

He was a SS teacher but also taught about 10 students how to fly/obtain our private pilot's license. He was the best teacher/influence I've ever had in my life. Unfortunately, in 10th grade, you don't really realize it at the time. However, the man changed my life. I became a teacher because of him. He helped develop a passion in me about flight and aerobatic flight. He was such a decent, caring man even when he made me take the Cessna 152 to 5,000 feet to practice stall/spin recovery. I was never more scared in my life. "Aluminum tastes like fear (R.E.M.)." Thank you, Mr. Leroy Walters. You changed my life and I wanted you to know.

Other families also have the same issue with this secretary. Ms.Mary need to let go of hatred. we all are humans and have similar needs. At this point, we are so hopeless, buying home in other district is not easy. we just pray that either Ms.Mary gets retired (honorably with all the perks, so she gets good retirement life) or somehow Lord changes her heart. we want to let her Know that we love her as fellow human. She treats minorities like trash. I can only hope that Dr.D or Ms.Gerberding will talk to her and teach her some love. We don't want bad for her but the way she treats parents and student of color - is very painful. On positive note, Ms.Mary Marston did teach me a lesson on how NOT to treat other people. I pray to my lord to change her heart and help her let go of her hatred towards minorities.
