Went through drive through and he was sighing and being rude. Unprofessional and the food sucked.

I rarely review anywhere - but I had to give a shout out to Virgil this evening. I feel most of my experiences in fast food are riddled with wrong orders, lack of forethought for the customer, and general bad attitudes. Virgil was the complete opposite. We arrived at 10 to close (so sorry, we did not realize) and he was so nice, asked us preemptive questions about our order, and was super efficient. Thank you for doing such a good job!! read more

Ordered a breakfast item at 11:30 after being advertised that they serve breakfast until noon as well as called ahead an hour prior to make sure they had breakfast before driving from McMurray. I successfully order 2 for 4 loaded omelette biscuits but I get to the window to a cashier swiping a card on the register around 30 to 40 times before acknowledging me. When the window finally opens I'm told there's no breakfast items other than chicken but no biscuits. A waste of TIME and TERRIBLE customer service the franchise owner should insure all menu items are available within the window THEY advertise, if I can get breakfast for 30 minutes before the lunch menu opens, what are they doing for 30 minutes? Might as well close the store if I can't order lunch or breakfast. Extremely disappointed. read more

Okay so I ordered a single beef taco crispy and a grilled beef burrito First off how do you make a taco with not melting cheese that you roll it so that when the purchasers go to eat unroll it in their vehicle all the cheese lays in their laps. As a kid I used to eat at this chain a lot with my grandparents. Then they moved out of my region and I couldn't eat there anymore. So when I was on the road to Washington D.C. and got hungry and saw this on the next exit sign I had to stop. Now it's been 25 years since I had been coming here so would it be as good as I remembered as a kid? Now I know I probably had ridiculously high expectations because of my sentiment but I found myself let down. The menu was pretty big in par with Arby's and Jack In The Box. The order taker was kind of short and gruff with us which I never find acceptable. The store wasn't what I'd call filthy but definitely wasn't squeaky clean either. With all of that out of the way let's take a look at the food... Frisco Thickburger Onion Rings What Is It: It's a burger on toasted sourdough bread with bacon, swiss, and onion flavoured mayo. It also comes with a tomato which I left off. Onion rings came with well onion rings (no dipping sauce). Presentation: The packaging really looks cool here with the cool cups and the "Eat It Like You Mean It" catchphrase. The sandwich looked really good and the onion rings were nice and golden. Pretty good here. 7 out of 10 Taste/Final Analysis: The burger was cooked properly although not really seasoned. That wouldn't be a big deal but they put barely any sauce on my burger at all. If you're not going to season your meat than you better have a great sauce or toppings on it. The sauce which was said to be an onion flavoured mayo was probably great but it had barely a dab on it. That's very disappointing. The bread was buttered and toasted to perfection and the swiss cheese was fine but without the sauce it didn't have much to offer. The onion rings were pretty decent although a dipping sauce would have been nice. I think Hardee's still has some good stuff to offer but they don't go that extra mile to make it great or give the customer a satisfying experience. 4 out of 10 read more

Walked in on a Sunday evening around 6:00. Lo and behold,...I walked right up to the counter. Not a soul in front of me. After a little delay,...because they were filling other drive-thru orders,...I ordered the double cheeseburger special - double cheeseburger, small fries, and a drink. Total cost = $5.59. Comparable price to other fast food places,...of course, if this WERE fast food. The cashier gave me a number; she said she would bring my order to my table. After sauntering off to my table, which was very clean by the way, I waited. And waited. And waited. About 23 minutes later (yes,...over 20 minutes for a fast food burger and fries since I got my own drink), I received my order. The first problem I have is their delivery system. When the cashier brought me my order, she first delivered a family of four their order, then two other single separate guys their orders, then mine. That's right,...I was ahead of three other orders, but mine was delivered last. And what does this tell you? My order sat in the window while the other three orders were prepared. And this was reflected in the quality of the food. My burger was lukewarm at best. Worse, the lettuce that they put under the burger wilted and turned to mush (see photo). The cheese also wasn't melted; it seemed to be placed there as if it was an afterthought. The fries were also lukewarm. I don't necessarily blame the staff; I blame ownership. There were 3 people working - the cashier, a manager, and a cook. (I guess that's why there were "Now Hiring" signs up.) I heard the manager say "It's like this all the time." This, coupled with an annoying customer asking for his freakin' chicken tenders to be cooked a certain way and checking on his order every two minutes, made this experience even less pleasing. Would I go back? Probably not. If you do decide to go, I'd recommend you go through the drive-thru. Those customers seem to get priority. read more

Hardee's - But banged up but still good - Burgers Near Me - Waynesburg, Pennsylvania

I found a new stop on my way to Maryland. I will preface this with saying that I don't have a Hardee's near me and I have rarely visited. This place seems to be borderline fast casual as you or and then sit down. Their burgers are pretty decent size and taste pretty good. Their milkshakes are great but I think a little pricey for the size. They do make them by hand so I guess I am spending an extra $1 for that. They have free Wifi and a few TVs on the wall. They are also right beside another fast food place with a play place. So if you are traveling with kids then one could stop here and grab a better burger/burrito and then head over to the fast food neighbor and let the kids play. This one is a red burrito so if you are trying to decide between. Taco Bell and burger place then you have your compromise. I can not vouch for the taste of the Tex-Mex cuisine here but I will it a try then next time. I need to stop off of 79. It is about a mile away so you will not see it off the exit. It is across the road from a. Sheetz so drive a mile off the exit to stop in here. read more

Food on the road is never good when you only have time for a quick stop. This was no exception. Burgers were overcooked to the point of being crunchy. Onions had a very strong flavor. I have to think they were not the freshest. My stomach was grumbling even though I came nowhere close to finishing. With 3 more hours on the road - let's just say I am hoping for the best! I love Hardee's. I grew up going as a child in NC. We stopped at this location on our way home to NC. Unprofessional is the nicest thing I have to say. The manager and the girl working the drive-thru were bickering the entire time. We waited 20 plus minutes for our food to come out. The food was fine. However, I will never eat at this location again. As we were leaving, my daughter went to the bathroom. I went it to check on her. The manager was in the bathroom, in a stall. When she finished, she smiled and left the bathroom WITHOUT washing her hands. Disgusting. read more

This is the worst Hardee's I have ever had the displeasure to dine at. The quesadilla was trash the cheese wasn't melted and left a weird after taste and had close to no chicken. The fries were not cooked through and half of them were frozen. The only saving grace is the roast beef which was half decent. I will not be coming here again and will advise others to do the same. read more

Food was excellent. I was heading back home to MD from vacation and I been craving for some Hardee's at 11pm. Don't judge me lol. But there was one worker and I believe she was the manager... A nice lady who was patient and didn't mind me taking a while to place an order but all in all, the food came out hot and fresh ! Went through drive thru 10 min before close and the employee was super friendly. She may actually have been the manager. I was expecting for someone to be upset that somebody was coming to the restaurant so late but it was the exact opposite. Food was prepared in a timely manner and was very good. Getting to the location was kinda of confusing but nevertheless, great experience & customer service. read more
