    * gluten free…read more -ordered (uber eats), 3 different tuna sushi rolls, all were fresh & excellent -the level of customer service was above and beyond & greatly appreciated: Being gluten-free, I needed to make sure that my order would be safe for me to eat. Without being able to note that on my uber eats order, I called the restaurant and was given a very thoughtful response (where she actually checked if it could be done instead of just telling me no). Then when I called back to confirm after my online order, I was greeted by another employee, who was also very nice and confirmed with me that they knew that the order was gluten-free. A couple minutes later I received a phone call from the restaurant verifying if I could have the spicy tuna roll because they weren't sure if I could have the ingredients that were mixed into the tuna. (Thankfully I could and it was my favorite!) A craving was satisfied! Thank you! PS - BETTER than sushi masa

My family and I came to Hibachi Express the other day. I ordered the Hibachi chicken I asked for…read moresome teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce on side. It was very flavorful and a big portion. You have to order at the counter and they deliver to your table. The servers were friendly and asked if we needed anything. It was a clean dining room with big comfortable booths. The drinks were okay. It was self serve fountain drinks. We shared the pork gyoza which was real good. My Mom and brother had the edamame they liked it as well. Overall this is a good place to go for a quick Japanese meal for there our take out.

You can tell they do more take out than anything but they do have a bunch of tables inside. We were greeted so nicely and given clear soup which was tasty. Then they brought some sort of tempura crab with their house sauce I think on it. It was delicious and just a nice touch. Loved the Kani salad. Again, the house sauce or their version of spicy mayo was really tasty. We got a variety of rolls and nigiri. The only thing that anyone would say something bad about was that the nigiri was really thick. We were happy with everything though and will probably come here from now on instead of our regular place!

Where to start... okay... there is not much fancy about Fancy Q Sushi & Thai in Lakeland Florida…read more The outside is dated and faded. It is on the outside of a mall that has seen better days. Inside depending on the angle you take the photo is kinda fancy. Most fancy thing about this restaurant was the service, which was quite good. I like that they give you complimentary soup and a imitation fried crab leg app with some sauce. Although neither were very good, it was a nice touch. The soup tasted like tap water with a hint of flavor. The imitation fried crab was just meh. For the entree we shared a shrimp and scallops pad thai, a spicy tuna roll, and a Kani salad. The Pad Thai came with a ginger salad which was delicious. The Kani salad was tasty. The Pad Thai was just okay. The sauce was sweet, not very savory or sour. Pad Thai should have all those flavors. Also, it had a red sweet suace with red onions which is something I wasn't expecting. Still, it was edible and filling. And the shrimp and scallops were plentiful. For $20 it was well worth it. The spicy tuna roll was absolutely awful. It tasted fishy, had too many of those dry flakes enauthentic restaurants mix in and was bland. Literally no spice and little or no fishy tasting tuna. The worst roll I have had in recent memory. I had to spit it out. Yes, that bad. With all that said... the service was amazing and the prices are super reasonable. I would return and maybe try another roll without the flakes. Finally, for some reason, this area has really bad cell service.

SERVICE: I was seated quickly, given gracious service and attention and had a smooth experience. The food comes out quickly and the servers move quickly to keep everything harmonious. THE FOOD: although a smaller portion than anticipated, i enjoyed the plating and the appetizers. The soup was classic and the salad was fantastic! The dressing is perfect and the vegetables crunchy! The fried rice and noodles were a bit underwhelming, more oil than I'm used to and the vegetables were overcooked. The salmon was tender and melts in the mouth. Skin on. I was very amazed to see vegetables occasionally cut into shapes. Overall, I'm impressed by details such as the fish bowl bar, soup, salad, shapes in vegetables, location, and service. I would like to see the taste improve on the entree. I understand the portions and price are fair due to location.

I rally came for a roll or two but Jacki suggested I try Pho. I had never tried so we discussed it and I chose this with the shrimp. It came with a fish sauce which was delicious and then Jacki recommended I try it with some Hoisin sauce. Wow! Awesome. Filling but not overwhelming and not spicy which is key this late. Super friendly folks and delicious food.

What really made my experience stand out was the excellent service. Our waiter, Anthony Cash, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. He continued to provide outstanding service with a positive attitude from start to finish. Everyone at the restaurant was welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
