Like an upscale version of a food court with each having its own building but they all share a courtyard. We've been to a couple of the restaurants here, but this one was my least favorite. We both ordered the crispy rice tuna burrito. It was huge! And it was very crispy but there just wasn't any flavor. We ended up having to ask for eel sauce for something to give it some flavor. Now the service was wonderful. There were only two people and they handled it pretty well. I also didn't like the hot sake we ordered. It tasted like a mix of wine and hot vinegar. Having said all that we are going to go back and try the poke bowls because those did look amazing!

Without being able to note that on my uber eats order, I called the restaurant and was given a very thoughtful response (where she actually checked if it could be done instead of just telling me no). Then when I called back to confirm after my online order, I was greeted by another employee, who was also very nice and confirmed with me that they knew that the order was gluten-free. A couple minutes later I received a phone call from the restaurant verifying if I could have the spicy tuna roll because they weren't sure if I could have the ingredients that were mixed into the tuna. (Thankfully I could and it was my favorite!) A craving was satisfied! Thank you! PS - BETTER than sushi masa

We…read morewere heading home and it was too late to cook, so we grabbed five steak and chicken combos to go. Unfortunately, the steak in all five orders was basically inedible. It was so unbelievably tough that after chewing on a few pieces for what felt like forever, I gave up. I honestly wouldn't even feed it to my dog. The chicken wasn't as bad, but I'd definitely stay away from the steak. I rarely leave reviews and have eaten here a couple of times before a while back. The steak has been on the tougher side in the past, but tonight took the cake. I knew we were making a quick late-night stop, so my expectations were reasonable, but for $85, you should at least be able to eat what you ordered. Five separate orders with the same issue is hard to overlook. Definitely not worth the money tonight.

But we were able to get sat for a party of 2 in about 50 minutes, I believe the bar is first come first served so I'd recommend scouting out bar availability if you're quoted with a longer time than you'd prefer to wait. Ambiance is great, decor is on theme, and the music was solid, not overpowering and it didn't feel like conversations were competing with the music. We were able to hold conversation amongst ourselves and our waitress at normal volumes. Service was solid, food came fairly quickly for the most part, and there were only a couple of times where we needed to look for our server to get some additional request in. Food was amazing, I loved both the chicken and duck skewers. The edamame was okay, could have used a little more seasoning for me personally. The wagyu fried rice was nothing less than delicious. The yellow tail and jalapeño hand roll was good, but more of a taco since it wasn't rolled at all, the ingredients were more so just placed inside the sea weed. The Batanga Highball was probably the most refreshing cocktail I've had this year. Incredible experience over all, I will definitely be back, the next time I'm in town.

SERVICE: I was seated quickly, given gracious service and attention and had a smooth experience. The food comes out quickly and the servers move quickly to keep everything harmonious. THE FOOD: although a smaller portion than anticipated, i enjoyed the plating and the appetizers. The soup was classic and the salad was fantastic! The dressing is perfect and the vegetables crunchy! The fried rice and noodles were a bit underwhelming, more oil than I'm used to and the vegetables were overcooked. The salmon was tender and melts in the mouth. Skin on. I was very amazed to see vegetables occasionally cut into shapes. Overall, I'm impressed by details such as the fish bowl bar, soup, salad, shapes in vegetables, location, and service. I would like to see the taste improve on the entree. I understand the portions and price are fair due to location.
