The menu is simple in all the right ways: sandwiches, wings, salads, and a few other staples. I went with their award-winning tenderloin and onion rings. My wife had boneless wings and the deep-fried cauliflower. The food was excellent across the board. Portions were big, nothing was greasy, and everything was cooked exactly how it should be. The cauliflower was crisp and seasoned well, the wings were solid, and the tenderloin was spot-on--great flavor, not oily, and the onion rings were light and perfectly done. Our bartender/waitress, Jesse, was outstanding. She was friendly, checked on us several times, and made sure everything was right. All in all, a great stop. Good food, generous portions, and the kind of service you don't take for granted. We'll gladly make the 30-minute drive to come back.

Was a good excuse to see Hampton's cute downtown as well as get a really good bite. When I saw the special board I sort of wanted that salad.... And I was told there was one quiche special left. But I was hungry so I asked about getting half a panini (turkey with pepper jack) and half that special salad. Was bummed they had run out of feta, but moved to the potato soup and that was such a good move! Left there full and happy!

First, going into the restaurant didn't feel like a true restaurant experience. There are no…read morewaiters or waitresses. No menue on the tables. No one to greet you. Just walk in and try to figure out the place. And then there it is. At the far end of the small room is the place to order with menues on a wall. Very unconventional. After the food is prepared, a person brings your order to your table. I ordered a large Chilli and was disappointed. There was plenty of items in it, plenty of ground beef, but it just didn't taste like traditional chilli. I was disappointed. From the Flying Elbows publicly, it is a burger specialty restaurant. I must admit that I'm old fashioned and not accustomed to this type of simplistic service and would rather be waited on. But, they have extensive bar service and that made up for the lack of true service....smile. I shall be back once more to try one of their burgers, but I sure do miss being waited on and leaving a nice sized tip for excellent service. But what do I know, I'm just an old man.

The food is quite good. There was just a hint of perhaps stale grease in the French fries, but overall, they along with my burger were fine. The menu is large for this type of establishment. It was a weekday evening and the place was about half full, which is probably a good sign, considering the fact it was a weekday and there are several other restaurant choices within a mile. Bowling leagues for the evening were yet to start and I would guess the place gets busier at that time. Service was quite fast and the staff was friendly. The place was clean. I used the restroom, which is part of the locker room area and it was clean too. It has been a long time since I was in the bowling/game area and I could not help how this place seemed quite modern, and yet somehow interestingly retro too. I like the look. I would return to the restaurant again and might just have to try to bowl a game or two.

I ordered a burger but subbed out the beef patty for a chicken breast. The chicken breast was seasoned and juicy, but it actually made the American cheese on my sandwich a little too slippery. Better than the alternative, though! I would eat here again, but I might try something different next time.
