The restaurant is a open area, well lit, cozy, clean and styled simply. The restaurant has a simple Happy Hour menu for during the weekdays starting at 4:30pm. Inside seating are a few booths, stand alone & bar top tables, bar seating and a small shaded outdoor patio seating area. If you have a large party with more than 6 people calling ahead would be wise. The hostess was friendly and the manager was more than helpful. The food server was pleasant and understood my dietary restrictions and very helpful to ask the chef if it would be possible to accommodate a few menu options for me which they kindly agreed. We had an appetizer order of fried calamari which was very tender, lightly flour coated crispy rings and tentacles served with a delicious red sauce. Our entree order of 3 shrimp tacos was very tasty, tender and filling as was my special made order of mixed vegetables from the chef. We look forward to returning to try additional items off their menu as well as desserts which were reasonably priced and portions were very nice.

The fried chicken sandwich was burnt to a crisp, honestly something that should have gone straight in the trash instead of being served. The fries were colder than ice cubes, like they'd been sitting out forever. I've tried their regular menu and even gone on some of their special food nights that get hyped up locally, but it never lives up to the hype. No matter when I've gone, the experience ends up being the same: long waits, chaotic service, and food that just doesn't deliver. For what they charge, the quality is completely unacceptable. I kept giving this place another chance because it's local, but after five or six attempts, it's clear the same problems keep showing up with no sign of improvement. What makes it even more frustrating is that it feels like the owners want to buy up half the town and run multiple places, yet this one clearly isn't being run well at all. Maybe focus on doing one restaurant right before expanding. Because right now, the basics, food quality, consistency, and organization, simply aren't there. At this point you'll get a better meal and better value at McDonald's, which honestly says a lot. I was only able to manage to eat about half of what I ordered, and honestly I only ate that because I was absolutely starving and hadn't eaten anything all day. I really did try to support this place. I gave it chance after chance. But after today, I'm done. This was my last visit and it will be the last meal I ever have there.
