There was an expiration date on the GC. Went into the business to ask for an extension so I can use the GC next summer and they said no. After explaining it is illegal to have an expiration on a GC the employees looked it up on the computer and found that we were correct. Harbor outfitters still refused to extend the GC knowing that what they did was illegal! I usually will visit this place several times during summer but I will not go there anymore. They have no problem with stealing money !

It lasts for about an hour to complete if you take your time. Once back you can still goof around the Fish Alley marina. This is s good time for pictures. I found SUP via google and the reviews and prices made my search complete. I actually had a staff member Dominick accompany me on his paddle board and he was awesome. When I got there, they said that it was a windy and asked if I wanted to reschedule, but I decided to go through with it. They made me feel very comfortable. I was worried they might get booked up with everyone looking to do outdoor adventures due to covid, however, we were the only ones on the tour - which was a treat! It was great having our own private tour with Andrew. He told us all about the local birds and was super knowledgeable (do not always expect that on the Sunset Tour though - it was a bonus since Andrew also guides the Eco Tours). He also knew how the channels change with the tides and the safe places to go so we did not get stuck in any mud, something we would not have known on our own. Our group has kayaked before so we felt pretty comfortable and paddled at a similar pace. We had to time to explore a few channels during the two hours. Parts of the tour did require some effort while paddling against the current, and then other parts we were able to just float and enjoy the scenery. It was a really pretty evening and Andrew even took some fun pics of our group and sent them to us. Andrew and another staff member did all the work getting the kayaks ready to go in the water and taking them out. We all opted for singles, but we were given the option of tandem kayaks as well. These are sit on top kayaks, so be prepared to have a wet butt haha. I recommend bringing water. They did have water bottles for us, but you can also bring your own if you remember. The tour description says they provide a snack, but we didn't receive one. Not a huge deal since we had eaten before we got there, but they might want to update the website if they no longer do that. Remember to bring some cash to tip your tour guide! Since it was just our group they let us park in the driveway. If that's not available I'd recommend checking in with staff on the best places to park if you are not close enough to walk over.

He took the time before we got in the water to explain some things about the equipment and talk about what we would do. The lesson was a great introduction to SUP; I now feel like I could rent a board on my own and plan to do so soon to get more practice. The area where he took me out to paddle was nice and protected from the wind. It was a great hour and I'm looking forward to doing more SUPing. This would be a great place to go with a group of friends who are all interested in learning how to paddleboard. I'm hoping to come back soon!

Per their web page the weekly rental was listed as $350. The reservation and delivery address was done over the phone. The mat was delivered on time. There were no issues with the rental until I noticed that my charge card was charged $500. Upon questioning why the price was $500. They told me that the web page was in error, the price had increased, and the web page was being updated. (Yes my error, I never confirmed with them that the price was as documented in their webpage) It is now almost 3 months later and their webpage still indicates a price of $350 for a week rental of a 6x12 mat. If you must do business with them be careful of getting the price in writing before agreeing to anything.
