I was having work done on my car so I decided to wander over to Mamaroneck Avenue for a manicure and pedicure. A basic manicure/pedicure is $25 and it was $10 to add paraffin for my feet and $5 to add paraffin for my hands. A $7 eyebrow wax rounded out my experience. I spent about an hour and a half at Harbor Nails. She did a great job on my nails and let the paraffin set for a long time so my hands and feet felt silky smooth. The salon doesn't look very impressive but it's clean and they did a nice job on everything.

    Worst French tips ever

Worst French tips ever! I'm it sure if the person that did my nails knew what she was doing. Can't speak for the others ladies work. But i wanted to cry when I saw my results. I expressed my dislike and concern , they kept saying she will fix it. It will look great at the end. A three year old probably could of done a better job. I will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone! Don't waste your time nor money here. I will have to get these tips removed asap

The infection a got the day after getting a mani at harbor nails !!!!!

I am beyond upset. Harbor nails does not even deserve this one star. I went in the other day for a mani pedi and it was disgusting. The lady doing my nails was so rude I had to hold back the whole time from punching her in the face. I've been going there for 10 years and it was always my go to nail salon but lately they have been a disaster. When I sat down in the chair to do my toes I looked around me and found a insect sticky pad on the floor with multiple bugs/ cockroaches stuck to it. I was there Monday and woke up on Tuesday with a swollen/ inflamed right hand finger. I now have a infection along/ under my nail and am taking antibiotics. I'm in pain and extremely mad. This has never happens to me anywhere else and says a lot about how clean they are.

Came again this past weekend 10/12/25. Made an appointment online. Lots of nice colors and designs…read moreto choose from. The women who work there are nice, but I've found the men to be a little less friendly. The pedicures in my experience feel a bit bare bones unless maybe you do one of their more premium pedicures, but I've always been happy with my manicures. I thought the manicure (uv gel fill on my natural nail) would be $58 or so based on the menu online, but it was $83. Apparently, the type of design I got costs more- cat eye/magnetic- see side by side photo collage. Didn't think to ask about the price being different than online beforehand, but that would've been nice to know upon showing them my choice of design. The guy, Jack, did mention the price to me just before he started doing my nails. The salon is spacious and seems pretty clean, although the pedicure chairs could use some updating. Overall, I really like this nail place. The brief massage during the manicure is a nice touch. It's close to where my parents live so if I'm in town and wanting to do some self care, this is my go to spot.

They're always clean…read moreand good with service but this time they were truly exceptional and did a design on my nails that took a lot of attention to detail and time. I came in with a very detailed design (that involved cat eye nail polish and chrome) that I saw online on someone else and after showing them the picture/video of it they took time to examine it and how to best execute it. Also, my nails were a mess beforehand and they managed to do an extension with the gel and then the design on each nail. My nails lasted 6 weeks and if it weren't for the fact that they were too long for my liking after 6 weeks, I probably could've gone longer because nothing was lifting or cracking. Which is impressive since I'm typing all day, so dishes and chase two toddlers all day everyday. I shared 4 pictures, 2 the day after and 2 the day I went back (6 weeks later) to get a new fill and color.

Hi ladies Sorry…read moreCindy that you had to close. I hope you can reach out if you move to a different location. Josephine

I made an appointment and was greeted cheerfully by the owner, Cindy. She reviewed my nails and…read moreasked me what I preferred. When I mentioned a very natural look for my short nails, she suggested a "Gel Manicure" and then introduced me to Nicole who did my nails flawlessly. She was pleasant, attentive and took her time to do my nails. At the end of the manicure, Nicole gave me a great neck massage that actually loosened up my neck considerably. They seemed to have an ample amount of "Gel colors" which is their specialty. The charge was $30 for the manicure, which, I found to be a good price. The Gel manicure will last about two weeks without chipping. To remove it, the Gel manicure is simply soaked off and re done from scratch for a new clean look every time with no filling or build-up. This is great news for someone who has suffered previous nail damage from Acrylic nails and does not want excessive filing. As I left the salon, I was assured if I needed any quick fixes to my nails, to simply drop by as "satisfaction was guaranteed." There is fierce competition in this neighborhood for Nail Salons. On the same block, there are three (3) salons. When asked how do they keep competitive, Cindy, the owner, mentioned their goal is to keep their customers happy and provide quality service. They also rely on customer referrals. They have been in business for 12 years and counting. All in all, it was good experience and I made an appointment for two weeks from now. I would say it worth the money and the visit.
