The part he gave me not only didn't make sense for what I needed, it didn't stay together in one piece. We waited a long time for him to give some explanation while he went on with a contractor he had been chatting with about nothing plumbing related. When he finally gave his attention he said, "ask your plumber." I told him I didn't have a plumber. He said, "You mean you're fixing this yourself?" I replied, "Yes." He then ignored me again. I asked the guy that I had first conversed with and had given me his attention how much it was for what the other guy had come up with. He said it was just over $20.00. This is a part that typically costs $2 or $3 at Lowe's. Do not waste your time if you are a DIY female with this store.

I'm sure it's just like most Lowe's, there are tons of employees around looking to help you find what you need (until you need one of them then they're nowhere to be found. Of course, that could just be my luck). This particular Lowe's is where I found out that I'm not the smooth negotiator that I thought I was. We were in the market for a new stove so we headed off to Lowe's. They had several appliances on the sidewalk out front of the store when we arrived. One of the employees was manning this little yard sale so I asked him about a stove that was sitting there. He told me that it was a return. A customer had bought it, it was delivered to the customer, the customer returned it without ever removing the packaging material. It was, literally, still in the box. The price on the tag was around $1400 but it was marked down to $1000. I told my wife that I was going to offer the guy $700 just to see if he would drop the price a little and meet me in the middle. I walked back over to him and before I could even make an offer he told me that he would take $600 for it. I should have played it cool but instead I just threw my wallet at him and started hugging my new stove. In hindsight, I really hope he actually worked there and was not just some guy in a blue vest. Either way I now have a really nice stove.

I just bought $2800 in appliances and NOT a dime then bought all the stuff for lawn care ( mower, pole saw, weed eater, extra attachments. Spent another $700 and got $2.00 off ONE of the attachments. These MF'S need to get off the dime and actually respect the people that make their business thrive ! Never again!!!
