I've had a real hit-or-miss relationship with the Sherwin Williams in Durango so I didn't have high expectations walking into the store. A woman approached me to take my order and I showed her a picture of my paint can and asked for a quart to do some touch up work. This is the point where the Durango store always takes me on a roller coaster, telling me they can match the paint color, can't match it, and on and on. The woman in the Farmington store was incredibly helpful and pulled her colleague when she had some questions. When the colleague came by, she showed incredible customer service. So warm and friendly and she offered me the pro discount even though I'm no where near a pro or even a contractor. I got a gallon of paint for an absolute steal. Honestly I have a hard time thinking of a place with better customer service than this store. From now on, I'll place all of my paint orders at this Sherwin Williams.

I'm not a happy long time customer! I ordered a rotary fly tying vise on 4/21/24 and I drove 2…read morehours to pick my online order and when I got there to pick my order, what they brought out was unacceptable. The vise did not come in its original sealed packaging. It was delivered from another SW store, which they wrapped in literally trash. The vise looked used and when you buy anything new it comes with paper work (manual, accessories, warranty, etc), but supposedly according to their website it was shipped from another SW store and was probably a used or turned in by another unhappy customer. I took pictures of the packaging and the store manager at the Farmington NM store didn't have an explanation or offer me any options. This is very concerning and disappointing. I was so upset that I wrote to the SW customer service as soon as I left the store, which was within 5 mins, that's how upset I was. It takes years to build a good customer relationship, but it only takes a few mins to lose a loyal customer. Update: 5/16/24 Today a member from the Sportsman's Warehouse management team reached out to me and I was glad I got an actual call back and they explained what had happened and clarified some questions. Happy to say that SW took ownership of their mistake. I'm glad that I'll continue to be a loyal customer.

My phone is insured, but you have to send the phone in and then wait for it. I can't do that, particularly when I'm using the map apps to get everywhere and this is my first time in Farmington. The team here was so patient, even though I was distressed. They showed me possible models to buy, BUT they also suggested that I see if their neighbor could help with my phone. It turned out that my cellphone just needed to have the charging element replaced. So this team missed a sale, but really did their best for a customer who they never expected to see again. Who wouldn't want an honest, helpful team on your side? If you're in the Farmington area and you aren't T-Mobile, then you are missing a great opportunity.
