I was looking to update my house with granite countertops, and I can't say enough about the…read moreservice, quality of products and the friendly atmosphere of Capital Granite. It started with a visit to their lovely store in Petoskey, which has a huge selection of tile, granite and marble to choose from, along with well-informed staff who take their time to answer all your questions. Bill and Randy are the co-owners, and are always accessible and easy to talk to. The whole experience has been great, from my multiple visits to the warehouse, (which is like a candy store for kitchen remodelers) to the on the job work of their expert template cutter, and installation. My home is a full log lake house, and each counter had to be custom scribed to the uneven logs in the kitchen and bathrooms. Capital Granite took their time, and made sure that everything was perfect. Understand that my home renovations were interrupted by Covid-19, as were most of the businesses in Michigan. Bill and Randy went the extra mile to ensure I was happy despite the virus disruptions, and I could not recommend the company more. Would give them 10 stars.

Exceptional! As most folks know, finding contractors is tough enough, getting them to call you back…read moreis even harder and finding someone that does the job for a reasonable price is the crown jewel! Matt from Great Lakes Asphalt was super quick in responding to my call and more than anything else I appreciated his honesty with his quote. He was very clear the entire driveway didn't need to be seal coated and I could save some money if I only wanted to do what was needed. I ended up doing the entire drive since I wanted everything to look the same. Prep work was minimal but again very clear as to the fact we needed to trim some low branches that hung out over the drive so they didn't brush the new sealcoat. Cracks were filled as necessary and the driveway was cleaned and prepared by Matt's team ahead of laying down the seal coating. And the end result, it looked awesome! Ok, so it is a driveway, but there was a consistent application, no excess buildup and more than anything, no overspray/mess that often happens on jobs. Super clean job by the crew, well done! Can't say enough great things about Matt and his team at Great Lakes Asphalt. Will 100% use them again for any future service. Thank you!!!
