Broadway By the Sea -- A Place Where Care Feels Like Family…read more Broadway By the Sea is more than a rehabilitation center -- it is a place where compassion, professionalism, and genuine human kindness come together to lift people up when they need it most. During my stay, I experienced something rare: a staff that treats every person with dignity, patience, and sincere respect. From the moment I arrived, the staff removed every fear I had., "In the morning they would come in the room and introduce his or herself by saying good morning Mr. Odis if you need anything just press the button." That simple act of kindness set the tone for my entire stay. Every person I encountered -- from the Case Manager to the Maintenance Workers -- treated me like family. A Team That Works as One One of the most impressive things about Broadway By the Sea is how well the staff works together. All three shifts operate like a perfectly coordinated team. No matter who walked into my room, they already knew what I needed and how to help. "I was very impressed on how the staff on all three shifts worked together as a team. Remember 'Team Work Makes the Dream Work.'" And at Broadway By the Sea, that teamwork is real -- you can feel it. Therapists Who Change Lives The Physical and Occupational Therapy staff didn't just help me -- they helped me regain my mobility. They pushed me, encouraged me, and made sure I was truly ready to go home. Their dedication is the reason I left stronger than I arrived. Kindness in Every Department Even the kitchen staff showed patience and understanding. If someone wanted more food, something different, or had a complaint, they handled it with grace."The kitchen staff never got upset... they would add or subtract whatever the complaint was." That level of patience is rare, and it speaks volumes about the culture of the entire facility. Healing the Heart, Not Just the Body When I first arrived, I was angry, depressed, and frustrated. But the staff didn't just treat my physical condition -- they helped heal my spirit. Their kindness turned my darkness into light."I actually smiled once the light came into my heart." That is what makes Broadway By the Sea special. They don't just care for you they care about you. A Perfect Score On a scale from 0 to 100, I gave Broadway By the Sea 100 plus -- and I stand by that. If I ever fall again and need help, I would request to go right back to Broadway By the Sea. They earned my trust, my respect, and my gratitude. Your Friend Mr. Odis

It's places like this that function more as a prison for rich parents who don't like their kids'…read morebehavior, then to actually help with sobriety, that are contributing to the current opioid crisis. This place was fine while I was there, paying them. Granted, there were a lot of troubled older teens without a real issue, so it was hard to focus on my sobriety. The fact that it is more like a prison for rich kids says something, but I was still able to find my way. My main issue is what happened after I left. I needed proof that I was staying there and getting treatment for my addiction, which they would not supply. This caused my college to fail me in classes and dropped my GPA to a level I will never recover from. Additionally, they released a newsletter that printed my sobriety date falsely. They said I relapsed on print. This is inexcusable to do to someone early in sobriety. It's hard enough staying sober without your old rehab messing with you. They committed libel, and I probably should have sued. Had my family seen that newsletter, they would not have spoken to me for years. I guess I got lucky that no one read it. I am still sober (over 15 years!) despite their efforts or lack thereof. Needless to say, they did not help with my long-term sobriety. They were detrimental to it. Probably in their best interest for people to relapse, then they can bill you again and take you back. I stayed sober by avoiding this place like the plague once I got out. Lastly, what Cade said in an early review was true about one of their employees sleeping with one of the female residents. Generally, the women who stay there have it a little easier and get away with more. I guess that is why a lot of these 5-star reviews are by woman.

The treatment and care at the center is less than a zero star. Their staff are mean rude and will…read morenot help whatsoever. They will only keep forcing you back to stay so you don't leave. They're only thinking about themselves and their money the therapist there are a joke. They are completely useless And a complete waste of money. This rehab is not worth anyone's money hasn't helped whatsoever. It's just a humongous waste of time. Also, all the pictures is nothing like how the actual rehab is. The rehab is literally one star they will not do anything to really help you get through any of the step work or to help you get better. I would honestly say that if you're looking for a treatment center go somewhere else this place will just keep taking money from you and won't let you leave just because you signed a contract meaning that they have to keep you there making a very difficult to actually be able to leave on your own terms I will definitely suggest this place gets new staff a new owner and therapist that will actually be respectful. Also, on my time there a therapist got in my face and tried to fight me few of their staff members or very rude and always picking on me there I pretty much felt like I was being bullied while I was at that rehab by the staff, the owner and the clients they did not have any understanding of how it is to come off a hard drugs and if you're looking for any sympathy or empathy, you will not get it here the better solution for someone who is really struggling and needs a program would be good into a hospital so they can give your right medication. This place did not give me any medication whatsoever and drove me to insanity. definitely would not recommend this place one star

Everyone I came in contact with was friendly, professional, and above all, caring. Shout out to CNA's, Olga, Jose, Carlos and Crystal. The Physical and Occupational Therapists were upbeat and full of motivation and praise. Shout out to Shelly, Celena, Mandy and Alex. Also Kim and Kat (PT Manager and Asst. Manager). Courtyard is very clean! All rooms were swept daily and deep cleaned regularly. In the rehab room, all equipment is wiped down with disinfected after each use. Food was what you would expect... (No Michelin Stars) but, the staff made sure you were satisfied and good about offering alternatives. There were a few mix-ups with medications when I first arrived, but those were straightened out immediately. All in all, very happy with our choice.

They completely wasted my time. Corrine (not sure if that's how you spell it) had told me she would verify my benefits when I asked if this facility accepts my insurance and proceeds to call my provider for something that's not there. I had said I have a therapy referral and she proceeds to lie to me and tell me that it's all I need to attend the IOP program here. Why waste my time? I need help from a mental health provider. I don't need my time wasted. She then transfers me to the medical benefits line (?) to get the NPI number. I get transferred, ask for the number, get questioned a few times why I need it, get placed on hold, and then get told Chase will call me back. What's up with you guys? If you don't know transfer to someone who does. That alone was extremely off putting.

Pacific Palms Healthcare did a really great job taking care of my mother for the 21 days that she…read morewas there. The staff was as attentive as they could be with a pretty full facility. When they did take care of my mom, they did so with pretty good care and gentle handling. The one thing I would be a little more focused on is the interaction between nursing staff and therapists- my mom was there to strengthen her legs after being in Kaiser ER with terrible cramps. But after therapy, she was usually back in bed which meant she spent the majority of her time not in a wheelchair, or not seated. Which, for an old person just accelerates the loss of muscle and energy. I know nursing staff doesn't like to move patients, but for patients who are there for therapy, I think there needs to be a little more proactive time out of bed to help them ready to get home. The management is superb. The front desk was superb. The Kaiser care team was mostly good. I wasn't a fan of the Kaiser Social Worker team as they did not connect the Home Health Care that my mom was to received after being discharged. But by enlarged Pacific Palms rehab rehabilitation gets a thumbs up to take care of your loved one and family members.
