This place is everything the comments say. I've good and bad experiences going here. From going in right away to waiting almost an hour. Depending on the day and what ur going for. And once you get in they basically have students. You can tell who's training and who's been there and know what they're doing. Yes the doctor is very dry, I've personally never had to get bad news and I'm sorry for ppl who have. I only go here because I didn't pass my sugar test and I'm high risk pregnancy. But I've never had anyone be mean or rude. Just not ur typical welcoming greeting. Ur there to get checked for whatever and out the door. The only nice person there is the nutritionist, she's so sweet and helpful. She's only there certain days but those were absolutely my favorite read more

"Good luck, just know most CDH babies don't make it." This is what brar said to us at our last prenatal visit, bluntly and without compassion, in a room full of observing resident doctors. This same physician diagnosed our daughter with congenital diaphragmatic hernia during pregnancy. He briefly stated the diagnosis, said she would need to be delivered at a different hospital, and then left the room. There was no explanation, counseling, or discussion of next steps. We were left overwhelmed and confused and had to ask his counselor just to obtain documentation and basic information about the condition. The lack of communication, professionalism, and empathy during a prenatal diagnosis and follow up for a life threatening condition was deeply distressing and unacceptable. We'll brar, our daugther did make it. She's in good health and succeeded every awful thing you told us. read more

I was under the care of my OB, Dr. Sadjadi at Optum, starting in September 2025 during my first pregnancy. Due to complications -- my baby measuring in the 1st percentile -- I was advised that all imaging and high-risk care would be handled through Dr. Brar's office. From early on, I was repeatedly told they were convinced the issue had to be genetic. We went through more in-depth NIPT testing, and everything came back normal, yet that assumption never seemed to shift or be further investigated. Starting in January 2026, I was seen weekly at Dr. Brar's office. During this time, I rarely saw Dr. Sadjadi and trusted that between both offices, my care was being properly managed. Looking back, that trust feels incredibly misplaced. Despite being seen every single week for a high-risk pregnancy, not once was my blood pressure checked. I was later diagnosed with preeclampsia, with blood pressure reaching 158/102 -- a serious and dangerous condition that should have been caught much earlier with routine monitoring. Instead, it was missed entirely. This ultimately led to an emergency induction and the devastating loss of my baby. There are no words to fully describe the pain of that loss. What makes it even harder is knowing that something as basic and standard as checking blood pressure -- a fundamental part of prenatal care, especially in high-risk cases -- was completely overlooked during consistent, weekly visits. Aside from the lack of care, the office was also consistently behind schedule. I was almost never seen on time, often waiting 30-45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. While delays can happen, this was a recurring issue and only added to the overall frustration and lack of confidence in the care being provided. I feel deeply let down by both Dr. Brar's office and Dr. Sadjadi at Optum. The lack of attention, oversight, and accountability during such a critical time in my life is something I will carry with me forever. I was 4 minutes late but not a new patient no paperwork due. I was not seen until 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. Tech was super rude and rough while performing ultrasound. I was sent by one of their other locations since they had a sooner appointment, they asked questions that I believe where poor in etiquette to ask a patient, such as why are we seeing her again? Why was she sent to us? We don't have your medical information since you go to our other location so we are trying to figure out why we are doing another ultrasound; I undestand the need to ask patients' questions but the way it is said carries a lot of weight. It also shows incompetence that you have no information prior to the appointment and did not care to reach out for clarification. During the ultrasound tech was super rough and pressing hard. I waited 50 minutes for her to end the ultrasound 5 minutes later. I had back to back appointments and waited another 50 minutes to be called back!! Wait times are insane! I work at a medical office and this would never fly at our office. Go to Redlands location, friendlier staff and a little better with wait time. This is for sure the worst of the WORSTS place to be referred to. If you can ask your physician to send you somewhere else do it!! The ladies at the front are so unfriendly and careless, no sympathy whatsoever. They can have you waiting for minutes or even hours after your appointment time, no matter if you come before, on time or a few minutes past your appointment time. They are so full of it. They will for sure call anybody else who got there way after you first and have you waiting wondering what the heck is going on?! You ask the ass lady at the front and get an ass-plain answer like we are bothering her. She definitely has not compassion, professionalism or integrity to be in that position. I had have sooo many bad and unpleasant experiences coming here! I came for an app and waited to be called just to be told that the US tech called off and they swear they called me ahead to notify which is a lie. Not a single phone call. Dr. Brat is a very straight forward with all results and make sure you understand everything he goes over and plans for your next two appointments ahead of time. very caring and fast past to get all the mothers in and out. read more

A maternal fetal medicine specialist should provide not only medical expertise but also emotional support and reassurance. Unfortunately, Dr. Brar's practice fails in this regard. The combination of a cold, dismissive doctor and an unprofessional front desk staff made each visit a frustrating and anxiety-inducing experience. I would *not* recommend this practice to anyone seeking compassionate, respectful care during pregnancy. If you value kindness, clear communication, and professionalism, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for maternal fetal medicine services. read more

front desk staff rude , always seem to lose patience files ( blames other staff members for miss placement in front of patients) , don't see the reason for appointment because they have you waiting for 1hr / 1hr & half . took them 10 mins to find my baby's heart beat and wasn't even in the right place ( found it myself ) worst service ive ever experienced. UPDATE: The workers are here are So Rude. One of the technicians walked us back for our appointment and when we got in there the other girl was very rude about the way she told us our daughter could not be back there, even though the other tech walked us back together. Just B-words. AVOID this office. I calmly got up and took my daughter out, but I explained that nobody had told us. Her response was that someone at the front should have told us. I have so many things to say about this place. I was sent here for NST's. They drew blood or should I say TRIED to draw blood at one of my first appointments and not one person could do it including Dr.Brar. My arms were bruised for an entire week. The MA's that tried to draw my blood were also very unprofessional and you could tell had not been properly trained. NST room is gross. No one cleans the bands that go around your belly or the monitors. Not a single sanitizing spray. The bands look so dirty how can you not consider some kind of cleaning. One positive thing I will say is the few RN's in there are always in a happy mood and very nice. MA's or other staff are very unhappy with their job you can tell. They don't ever offer you help to recline your seat or anything like the nurses and always have bad attitude. A+ for Maria the RN. Front office staff are not friendly. I am 2 months post partum but drove by this location today and remembered I need to write a review! The short of it- do yourself a favor and spend the time and gas to go to Dr.Brar's Redlands location instead! The staff here is so unprofessional and unfriendly! I also felt like I was in some weird baby machine, they cram as many women as they can in their room,easily 10+ women monitored at the same time in the same room. They also have students doing everything, granted "supervised" yet one of them still managed to mess up one of my ultrasounds because the lady who was supposed to be supervising her was too busy filing gel bottles in the back of the room. I had to come to this office twice a week for a about 6wks and not once ever when I signed in was I ever acknowledged by anyone, I had to tell them every time that I had a copay to pay, they often ran late, I once heard the front desk girl tell another employee "man those bitches never even say hi or good morning when they come in" and then proceed to complain about her other coworkers/students while dropping the f bomb (fine but in ear shot of patients?), one day they were shuffling women in so fast they decided to do everyone's vitals while they were already lounging and being monitored (pretty sure that's not accurate either at that point) and then had to yell everyone's birth day and blood pressure across the room to the girl at the computer which you could tell one older mom felt uncomfortable with (hi HIPPA violation) and then like I mention a student messed up my ultrasound and measured part of my baby much larger than she actually was which prompted additional monitoring and ultrasounds for me for nothing. Also I never saw the doctor here once. The office in Redlands is polar opposite. They are on time and the staff was so nice and efficient! read more

This was the worst experience from a specialist and I'm a mother of 4 children. I was referred there by my obgyn for gestational diabetes. The office is very dirty, stains on the walls, windows with dirty finger marks that haven't been cleans in weeks, dust balls rolling all over the waiting rooms inside and outside. The ultrasound tech will rush you in less than 5 minutes and their work is very inaccurate. The dr will not confirm results just go with what the students provide. After 4 ultrasound appointments They said I was carrying an 11lb baby at 36 weeks and I had no option but to get a c-section. I refused and when he was called so that he would speak to me his first words were" if you don't get a c-section your baby can die" just very discomforting to hear at first and very careless. I eventually agreed on an early induction and I was treated very poorly for my decision to birth naturally by the on call doctor at the hospital. 2 days of labor very painful and traumatic and my son was born 9lb I suffered throughout the whole experience and spiked a fever do to an infection and my son was born with severe jaundice as he was born at 37weeks. This is just a short version of it all but this dr and his staff robbed my husband and I of a beautiful experience. Don't trust them as they seem to want more patients then provide professional work. Definitely will be looking into an attorney do to other losses and pain and suffering caused by their negligences. read more

I'm not one to write a bad review but I've never had a worse experience with any healthcare provider than I did here. Roughly two months ago I was in there for a GD appointment when I told the nurse checking my charts that I was having really bad contractions and they had started around 9 am. She monitored me for about 20 minutes and confirmed I was having contractions and to just go home and drink water and they should go away. When they checked my pressure they said it was a little bit high but it was probably due to the contractions and again they told me to go home and drink water. When I walked out of the office I couldn't tolerate the pain and went back inside and told them if I could wait there while my husband came to pick me up as I felt I couldn't drive. While I was waiting the contractions kept getting worse and I told the staff and nurse and they couldn't have been more indifferent and just kept repeating to drink water and go home. At one point I was literally bending over crouching by a chair from the pain. How is it during this time 3 people waiting for their appointment approached me asking me if I was okay and if I needed a ride instead of the nurse or staff. They couldn't even bother asking me if I needed to lay down or if I needed a ride home/to the hospital. When a staff member finally approached me all she could say was "oh is someone almost here to pick you up." When the nurse passed me she once again told me to wait in the car and just drink water. My husband finally got there 25 minutes later and he rushed me to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital fully dilated at 10 centimeters. I got there at 11:37 and my baby was born at 11:45. Had I listened to their horrible medical advice my baby could've been born at home exposing me and my baby to a dangerous birth. Even the staff at the hospital were shocked when I mentioned that the nurse here told me to go home. Not only that but the lack of compassion and care from them when they saw me in pain was shocking. They kept making me feel bad and embarrassed for the pain I was experiencing. I was literally trying to hold it in and ignore the pain because they made me feel like I was exaggerating it. This place is terrible and like I mentioned never had I received such horrible medical advice or care. read more

My son was born three months ago and he is able to see, has passed two hearing exams and is developing well just like other three month babies. He is meeting all of his milestones. Prayer is stronger than anything "specialists say." Sad to think many moms abort because of the fear of what "specialists" say which isn't always accurate... transferring to UCI was the best decision for my high risk pregnancy. They made me feel human unlike DR. Brar constantly pushing for abortion and amniocentesis when I didn't want either and had already expressed my strong opposition. UCI also gave the best care to my son. Avoid this office which is old, dirty and in which the staff speak about you amongst each other. read more

They schedule my daughter for every Monday and Friday at 11:15. They end up making her the last person there well into lunch time. They changed her appointment to 11 and now don't even see her until 12. They need to stop over booking. One lady was there since 10:30 and not called in until 12. Because it's lunch time they stop checking in on her and delay her being able to leave. At least she learned to eat before her appointment so she's not starving while their all eating their lunch. read more

This place doesn't care if you have an appointment or not. The time of your appointment starts your wait time even though you sign in when you get here. They don't care about convenience and always give you terrible pictures of the baby. All your ultrasounds seem rushed and staff is very rude. On top of that we waited for over an hour with an appointment and people who arrived after us were getting called first. I will never bring my wife here again. read more

Riverside location: my experience here i arrived early half hour earlier to fill out forms my appt was at 330pm it's was 4pm and I wasn't seen yet! I will make sure I don't use this office again. I ask the receptionist how long more and she just asked for my last name and looked at me confused! Wtf overbooked patients then the sonogram tech can't tell you much which I understand but at least say all looks okay, the nurse assistant makes you wait 5-10 more so the dr could just tell you by the way just take this and make appt so I waited 45 -55 minutes for nothing but yet charge my insurance that's insane. At least the dr should go over measurements take more time to go over review the ultrasound read more

Future mothers don't come here. The service is horrible the people who are there in the office don't want to work more than to be on their cell phones and if they need to move they say they can't take care of you because they don't work, it's incredible with my wife we waited weeks to see our future baby in 3D and they delayed us 2 more weeks and they sent us to corona because they don't have an appointment. read more

Dr Brar is an excellent caring High Risk OBGyn! A specialist whom is there monitoring his patients, when we need specialists like him the most. Although, I along w/ most expectant women probably would prefer having had a "normal pregnancy" , that never required all the extra visits to a high-risk OB...life HAPPENS & for whatever reason I had to do what was best for my unborn child. I'm aware, that sometimes even less fortunate circumstances occur regardless of how much everyone tries... & the outcome is grim. Fortunately, I was able to welcome my daughter into this world.. with minimal complication, thanks to Dr Brar & my delivering OB. Dr Brar's office staff was pleasant & always accommodating. His medical assistants ensured that I kept my appointments, which were scheduled several times per week. Office was clean and wait times were reasonable for the most part. I, having worked in healthcare.. was aware of unexpected delays and emergencies that could slow appointments down occasionally. This, occurring especially in the unpredictability of a specialist's schedule, such as that of a High-Risk OB-Gyn specialist . Dr. Brar himself is AMAZING and extremely knowledgeable, but is almost never present in the Riverside office. In my opinion there are too many "medical assistants" there's usually 4-5 in the front reception area and usually have a baby under a year old present when there are signs posted "no one under 18 allowed." They usually speak negatively about patients in the waiting room area. The ladies and RN, Sandy in the NST room are so nice and respectful as well as the sonographers in the ultrasound room. read more
