A large lack in unclear communication that definitely needs to be addressed. Left with more questions than answers, phone calls that never get returned, and unclear runaround answers to make excuses when they can't provide clear answers. False reports for a $213 paid diagnostic service that was originally quoted at $180 (This is not labeled as tax on the invoice but as a $23 "shop supply charge" ) as well as false reports made on other components of the vehicle not related to the original diagnostic service. Unless my car ever needs dealer-specific recalls for immediate safety concerns I'm probably going to stay away from here. read more

I went to this dealership to get a coolant leak fixed on my car. Not only was there little to no communication over the first week they had my car about the progress, but when I got it home, the coolant was still leaking. I took my car back and they agreed to fix it at no additional cost. After that, they held my car for another 3 days and told me that they were going to charge me more for the second visit than they had charged when they didn't fix it the first time. When I asked about them agreeing to fix it at no additional cost, they told me that they felt like they fixed the first leak and that this was obviously a second leak that happened in the thirty minutes it took me to get it home after I picked it up the first time, but they'd do me a favor and only charge me around $250 to fix it. read more

I had taken my vehicle to them for a service about six months ago and was impressed. I went back today and it was just the opposite. First, I didn't get the service Advisor I requested. Second, the person I got never responded to my text messages. Third, my mechanic must have been popular because he was pulled off my vehicle several times to help others including an employee's car that had a dead battery. I purchased a car from Harbin around 6 months ago. Car was used but in good condition. No known issues was what I was told. Now the Turbo has gone out and it's in the shop, luckily covered under warranty. But the issue is when you have all this they are supposed to provide a loaner car...all the loaner cars are loaned out... I have been without a car for 6 days now. My past several services with Harbin have been awful. First yall lost oil drain plug seal, next lied about my tires being so bad wires were showing, then the past 2 or 3 services yall have been fussing about my breaks. Went as far this past time as to say they were at 2mm. We'll they are at 3.5 and 4, but yes I got them changed. The most recent and infuriating issue is that when I went to change my breaks my lugs were on so tight that it has flattened the dimple of the lug nut, wore the wheel, and stretched the lug bolt. I have placed a call to the service manager but have not heard back yet. I will be expecting the lug bolts (which means new hubs for my car), my wheels, and my lug nuts to be replaced at no cost of my own. This is INSANE and I am INCREDIBLY UPSET. The excuse last time was untrained service writers and the excuse this time will probably be untrained technicians, but I am tired of excuses! read more

Our salesman was great! After that, downhill. Just stay away! They are impossible to work with after the purchase of a vehicle. We purchased a package for exterior, tire, etc protection and called over 2 months ago to cancel when vehicle was totaled. Gap insurance is waiting on this information to complete the claim. My husband and I both have emailed and called multiple times and have been given the run around since February. We've been negatively impacted by this further than them just not responding. My husband saw a vehicle at Harbin he was interested in purchasing. Because we live a distance from the dealership, he discussed the price and came to an out-the-door price with the sales person. When he got to the dealership today (11/22/21), they would not honor the price they agreed upon and tried to charge him an additional $800 in fees. This type of practice is not ethical and it causes people to waste time traveling. It is apparent that the sales team cannot be trusted and they do not care about potential customers that drive for hours to get to their dealership. I am very disappointed with the service I received today . I drove almost 3 hours round trip after speaking with someone and then assuring me everything was approved . I got there and all the sudden that changed. I made it very clear of what I was trying to do and as long as i had down payment I was good . Wrong ! All the sudden they couldn't help me because of the lender on my trade. I was flabbergasted. Sales rep was great! However, not so much the cars. I have NEVER been to a car lot and got into cars so nasty. Old candy wrappers, sticky stuff, hair, gross seats.... Even one with a really big toe nail in the floor board. Your Covid mask can't save you in these cars. Also, not one car we looked at didn't have outer damage.... We were not expecting used cars to look brand new.... But if they are on the lot we feel they should be presentable. They don't do any body work and their prices are set. They HAD to have all been rental cars.... No way would somebody treat a 2020 car that badly. If you are looking for a car that needs body work, has been treated like garbage, and smells like something dead is in the trunk.... Look no further! read more

*This dealership sells lemons* I puchased a vehicle here 10/6 and by 10/9 it failed to turn over. I barely got it to the mechanic who told me the fuel pump was out and amongst other things, it'll easily be over $700. I called the dealership to see if they would stand behind their car. On 10/6, the sales person Anthony told me how great the car was and the ad online said it had a great service history. Now when I call, "Tony" says they will do nothing and that they DIDN'T EVEN INSPECT THE VEHICLE! He says they just topped off the fluids and sold it. I recorded the conversation to prove how they changed on me as soon as they had my money. I'm taking the recordings and the ads to my attorney general along with the BBB and emailing it to every corporate entity I can find for Ford so they know the name this dealership gives them. I'll be sending it weekly to Hoyt, Tanner, and Win along with the names of everyone who will never go to this dealership as I spread the word. read more

When I went back to make the deal, I was given a very good trade in allowance and paid a fair price for my new car. I had a flat tire. And I mean completely flat. I called Quick Lane for advice about the best method of getting my vehicle to them since I have C-Max Hybrid (no spare, uses portable compressor and sealant). Laura, after talking with me and finding out the severity of my air leak, advised me to have my car towed. Ford Emergency Roadside Assistance had someone to my home within fifteen minutes of my call. When the Quick Lane staff discovered that they did not have the tire I needed in stock, they found one n Huntsville and had it delivered. I had no one to pick me up, and rather than having no me wait, my tire was patched so that I could go home. When I returned, at the time Laura had given me, the replacement of my tire and alignment was changed mpleted n no time. The service I receive in the local Quick Lane is a big part of the reason I continue to buy my vehicles at Harbin Automotive. Could not have Asked for better, or friendlier service! We would be hard-pressed to find better service at a car dealership. Our salesman, Bobby, has gone above and beyond to find the car that we want while making sure that our price is as low as he can make it. We have always been made very welcome there and the personnel have managed to come across as friendly instead of pushy - which make us much more comfortable than any other car dealership we've ever dealt with. We have bought three cars from Bobby in the last three years and will continue to deal with him in the future. On a side note; after we had left the lot with our first new car we received a call from Michael in finance to say that they had found another way to lower our payments even further. We turned right around and went back to sign the new papers. We've never heard of any car dealership so willing to get the best deal they can for their customers. I bought my 2013 Ford Focus Titanium hatchback on Friday, June 30th. It's had a little creaking noise. I took it in Saturday July 1st. It was fixed. Well I was driving yesterday and noticed it again. So I came up here from Huntsville to get it checked out. I went to the service lady and she says "I thought we just did that" I literally almost grabbed my keys and left. It's very unprofessional and rude. I think after this I will not be using Harbin Ford Service department. I liked the sales people here. They are nice and friendly. And very help. Service department not so much. Also when I came Saturday I called a head was told to come on. Came to the service department lady said come back Monday to see about an alignment. I didn't need an alignment. I wasn't going to argue with her so I went to go talk to my salesman Craig Davis. And he was with a customer and literally stopped what he was doing to help me. One of the other salesman told him that they'd help me. Very impressed. Craig Davis and Bobby Carr are great people to deal with. Gave me a better deal on my trade. But I just don't like how I was treated at the service department. read more

Bought a 2003 Thunderbird from Harbin in July 2014. Everything really nice until I paid cash for the car and left the dealership. Days later when the temperature got into the 90s the a/c would not cool car. They refused to do anything to help, not even sell me the parts to repair it at cost. Cost me over $500 to repair myself. Well, after all, I bought it as-is. One week later I removed the hardtop and to my surprise there was no boot to go over the soft top when it is down. Found nothing but an old spare tire cover for a jeep in its place. Called salesman to see if maybe the cleanup people had forgotten to put the boot back in after detailing the car. He promised to call me back. No call after a month and was pretty short when I made the call, as if to say, it yours, tough. Well I bought it as-is but even little use car dealers are better than Harbin. They all will give some kind of help, parts at cost, etc. if you only had the car a few days. After all it is not costing them anything to help, I am paying them the cost. How much does a phone call cost? Worst customer service I've ever experienced, and I'm 69 years old.
