Since we were getting a plumber in, we decided to lump in snaking on 3 other drain lines since it was cheaper to get everything done all at once. We had contacted ten different plumbers (I might've been excessive) for a quote to do the work, including in it details of exactly what we needed to get done and pictures of the corroding pipe. We got a large variety of responses, some refused to provide quotes at all citing different reasons such as "only on-site no obligation quotes" (this doesn't fly with us during COVID-19, thanks) or leaving the material cost variable without any suggestion on price (red flag, even though I specified which piping needed to be replaced and provided pictures). We also had a lot of difficulty getting quotes from many of these other plumbers despite providing clear pictures of the problem piping and describing what needed to be replaced. In contrast, Stanley provided an exact quote in advance using the photos and information we had sent him, which is the exact amount we paid (we're always wary of upcharging). His pricing was very competitive amongst the five plumbers we received quotes back from. He services condos, which we found not all plumbers are willing to do. He adeptly completed the work we needed, cutting and replacing the old piping with new piping and snaking all the drain lines. He has a pretty cool entirely contactless payment method, where he can generate and send invoices from his phone and you can pay through an online portal with your credit card and save a PDF copy of the invoice. We would use his services again, though we hope not to.

So I have to admit these guys wete the only plumbing company that got back to me when I learned…read morethat my sewer line had collapsed (because the house was full of sewage!). I felt their price for the work outlined was excessive but I had no other choice if I was going to get my wife and newborn son back home. With the terms agreed upon they began the work the next day. Much to my surprise, Hypro did not show up. Two Ulraniane fellows, who could barely spoke a stitch of English, showed up and dug a 3' by 6' hole. No equipment, just shovels. I was able to determine that they were sub contractors to Me Rooter, who was contracted by Hypro to do the work. My issue arrises form the fact that the guys did not complete the work as agreed upon with Hypro. After a few calls I was assured that the work would be completed properly. It wasn't. I won't bore you with more details but it wasn't what I was promised and paid for. Hopefully it the pipe doesn't settle too much and stands up to the weight load.

We also had additional quotes like most people on here, but found Naz to be very well spoken. We live in an older home and had to tackle everything when it comes to a complete Reno a step at a time. Naz and his crew completely rebuilt our ancient drain system and all did all the waterproofing inside our home. Our basement looked so much better than it originally did. We also built a bathroom in the basement and had to build everything from scratch. It took a bit longer than anticipated but the end result is worth the wait. We are looking forward to finishing our basement with these guys and finally enjoying living in our older home.

This was a big complicated job for a 100 year old house where the basement hadn't been touched in 100 years. The job included removal of the old concrete and walls, new drainage, waterproofing, sump pump, crawlspace excavation, and a new concrete slab with hydronic infloor heating. Just as the job started we had a family emergency that kept us extremely stressed, busy, and away from home for days at a time. Nazar said "leave it to me" and took care of everything. His crew, including Andrew, are extremely knowledgeable, hard working (I mean really hard working!), and completely trustworthy good guys. They did an outstanding job, handling all of the inevitable complications (city drain that needed clearing, permit issues, last minute change in design from the engineer) - keeping me posted but not asking for anything from me.
