Southside plumbing however, sent a very friendly plumber to sort out my bathroom leak - he turned up on time, was polite, gave me a free quote for work with no pressure on me agreeing to the work, and then he tidied up after himself once the job was done. Upon installation of boiler we soon found the appliance to be leaking water, Scott Hinshelwood (owner/operator) avoided all my attempts to contact him, leaving me with a leaking boiler and agreed plumbing work incomplete (which meant we had a new kitchen with no water supply, not ideal when you have a child to care for). I contacted Gas Safe to inspect his work and their inspection identified Nine defects with the boiler installation. Mr Hinshelwood eventually carried out remedial work at last possible chance before his Gas Safe registration would have been revoked. Mr Hinshelwood acknowledged he owed money for incomplete plumbing work but this has never been repaid. Long story short, he installed boiler incorrectly, left an unsafe appliance in my home for as long as he could and didn't finish the job he'd been paid for. If anyone doubts the veracity of my review I'd be more than happy to share the Gas Safe report with them.
