Worst contractors ever! I paid $1215 to get repairs done to my home after getting an inspection…read morereport prior to sale. The house was supposed to close in a month, I was told all the repairs would be finished in 1 day, it took over 3 weeks, with multiple no shows. I ended up having to complete 3 out of the 11 items on the invoice myself. I also separately paid $488 to have my roof repaired, the inspector after revisiting 3 times total, told me it's worse now than before they did their work. Best of all I try to call their number to get them to come out and fix their mistakes, but it goes straight to voicemail and they never return my calls. I now have to push my closing date forward by another week and pay for competent people to come fix their shoddy work. Don't waste your time with them! Get literally anyone else before using them, you'll save yourself some money and you'll keep your blood pressure at normal levels.

John was respectful, honest, professional and fair in his pricing. John knew what he was talking about; compared to others we met, and even suggested options that saved us money. John and his team came in and got right to work. He took extra care and time to ensure that the grout work was correct in color, which looked great and made it very difficult to ID the old from the new. All jobs were completed to our satisfaction and looked/functioned great. Only reason for the 4-Stars is due to leaving a little bit of a mess from the frosted window replacement and regrouting. Just a little more clean up was needed. If not for that it would have been 5-stars. Based on our overall experience, we would recommend John. We plan to do additional work with him in the near future.

Required a 500 dollar deposit and put a temporary patch on the roof. Took all of 5 minutes. Told me to call them back when the insurance company had come out. I did. The insurance adjuster said the roof didn't need replacing only one area needed patching. 700 dollars was what they quoted. I contacted the company. No word. I texted. They said they would get back with me. Another month went by. Again contacted the company. Crickets. Texted. They said they would get back to me. I had a signed contract. 5 months of waiting. I finally sent them a letter asking them to release me from contract. Or I would be turning it over to my attorney. Hateful letter back. I again asked them to refund my deposit and provide me with an itemized statement for labor and temporary patch. Again nothing. I finally had my attorney send them a letter. I got back a receipt that did paid in full. Now 6 months later I was looking for a company to fix my roof. Most of them I never heard back from. Some of them said I needed a new roof. Only one actually listened and heard what I needed. That Was LA roofers. Man came out. Seen that the adjuster was correct. Quoted me a price and a week later I had the roof fixed. This was my first hurricane. My first dealings with roofing companies. The first one had come highly recommended. The second one I found on my own. I know who to contact next time I need roofing repair. And it will definitely be LA Roofers.

We hired his company to elevate our house after Katrina in New Orleans. The job was half done and never completed. Everytime they get an inspector from city hall to inspect the condition of the home elevation for approval, it failed. They would make false promises about needing to add new vents here and there, but the real problem was that the foundation was poorly put in place at the start, so it failed inspection. It would cost them too much money to redo it, so they would make excuses to extend it out hoping we would forget. The foundation is cracking from the side and we just found out that our plumbing is busted in several places under our house. I have tried to call him repeated and he has avoided my call. We are in the process of hiring an attorney to seek for damages. The BBB has been contacted about their poor service ethics as well. This company has a rating of an F with the BBB

The results were adequate at best, but unbeknown to me when a couple of months later I had to demolish the deck he was suppose to advise me on fixing to discover what you will see in the attached photo - that his workers were so lazy when replacing the siding and reinforcing the railing they didn't even bother to move the railing to replace the siding behind it. Also they didn't bother to tell me the extent of the damage under the A/C where the deck attaches to the house. The finishing strips on the porch have come loose and there were other defects concerning the A/C unit, etc... will not hire again.

I got a schedued work date and requested an estimate via text with Mary Beth. I never received the estimate or an invoice. The communication was via text. A group of workers came and did the work (not including John). John mis remembered the detials of the initial walk through and had to go get more materials. I communicated clearly that I needed hardiboard. Some materials were left at our home after the job. Months later when my HOA was ready to paint my home I was informed that the material put on my home was in fact not hardiboard. I communicated this immediatlely to Mary Beth. She scheduled John to come back out to view the work with our HOA president. John said that the materials left were not from the work he did and disputed with me that the material was in fact hardiboard. I had to get Mary Beth on the phone and use my texts in order for John to admit that it was the incorrect material and they needed to remove it and redo the job. After agreeing to remove the incorrect material in exchange for hardiboard Mary Beth began making excuses about personal issues and scheduling for 2-3 months. She NEVER called me I had to keep reaching back out to them for weeks. It was not until I asked for thier liscense information to file a report with the BBB that Mary Beth informed me that they do NOT have a liscense. That communication finally opened up thier schedule and they came out to redo the work in the following days. John did not apologize or even show his face during this redo. He came and took photos and talked with the workers but never spoke to my husband or I again. Im glad we did not have to file civally to rectify the issue. I would not call this company for a large job for someone inquiring. Not at all again personally.
