Associates are friendly and are having fun. In town for business and decided to go back to happy's to try the wings and get a salad. Wing were cooked perfectly crispy on the outside juicy on the inside. I don't think they are hand breaded, but they are meaty and not over breaded. Disappointed they don't make their own bbq sauce. Large happy salad is big enough for two. Nothing spectacular, fresh iceberg, and a chopped up chicken fingers. If they added some shredded carrots and cabbage it would better than average. If they made their own croutons from pizza dough and added an egg it would be 5 stars. Happy's wings and salad = good, fresh, good price. read more

I ordered a pizza today from the Monroe store...it was a busy time of day and the girl said there would be at least an hour for the delivery to get here. No problem I said. A half an hour later there was a knock on the door...it was the pizza man. The cost was 20.12. The man said just make it an even 20...so I gave him a twenty and a ten and said...give me five back. He said no...you keep the tip money...I am the owner of the Monroe store and am just helping out on deliveries since we are very busy...I don't expect to be tipped being the owner. Hats off to this man...in trying times helping out on deliveries. He obviously cares what goes on at his store. Again...hats off...the pie was good with ample toppings on top of that. Dinner for 6 was supposed to be delivered within an hour, after 1 hour and 15 minutes food not here. Called to check on the order and was told they only got the order 5 minutes prior. I ordered the 12 piece dark friend chicken with XL sides (french fries, coleslaw, and garlic bread) for me and my family tonight. We needed something fast as no one at my house felt like cooking tonight. The price wasn't too bad either. The food arrived hot and in a nice, big box. Very neat. I could tell the chicken and french fries and coleslaw were all fresh and had not been sitting very long, which is a plus. The problem came in when my family and I were eating the chicken. Tell me WHY our chicken smelled like seafood! I'll tell you why: BECAUSE HAPPYS FRIED OUR CHICKEN IN THE SAME OIL THEY USED TO FRY SHRIMP!!! They have no clue whether me or my family are allergic to shellfish! This is just plain wrong! This meal could have been so much better without that added nuisance, if they had just not tried to cut corners and actually fried their chicken in oil that only chicken and/or french fries had been fried in instead of frying chicken and shrimp in the same oil! We won't be ordering anything from their establishment ever again. Believe that. read more

We were in the area for a soccer tournament and needed to feed the team quickly between games. We called in an order and the owner was gracious enough to let our 16 boys and 10 parents take over the restaurant. The pizza was hot and delicious. I have to say I was very impressed with Happys! Its the night before christmas eve and my husband and I are running around like crazy parents often do to make sure they have all the last minute gifts for their children. We ordered delivery and as expected the delivery time was 50 minutes. Not surprising as we live 15 minutes away from them. To our surprise the incredibly nice driver shows up not 25 minutes after our order was placed. I didnt catch his name, sadly. But he was a very nice guy. I wish there was a Happy's closer to us for delivery. But my husband picks the order up on his way home so that's a good thing. We really love the food and the folks who answer the phone are happy to explain deal's they are advertising and the regular menu, so we can save money. The most amazing delivery menu in town. Happy's will get good comfort food to your door in 45 minutes or less. Their pizza is about as good as any other Franchise in town, but their other food - fried chicken, ribs, shrimp, fish and desserts (ask, because they're not all on the website) are good eats. My family has ordered takeout from Happy's at least thirty times and they have never gotten our order wrong. Plus, they're open late! read more

After a very long day I called Happy's five minutes after closing. I apologized for calling so late, and the owner told me he had about fifteen minutes of cleaning and could make my order. No where else was open and he made my day! The chicken rivals Buffalo Wild Wings and Pete's, the pizza is just as good if not better then others in Monroe. They said 45 minutes for delivery and pretty muxh right on the second they were here.
