The coffee here is phenomenally great tasting. So if you want good coffee this is the place to go to. Nothing special about it's just good old-fashioned coffee. Our waitress was very friendly in tentative as well as knowledgeable of the menu. Come to find out that she's worked there many many years. I guess you might say we hit the jackpot when it came to being waited on. It's an old building in the middle of downtown so parking is very limited however we got there was able to park right out front. The restaurant itself is very clean and the walls had been painted in recent months. They have a soda fountain so you can get drinks with ice cream or just a dish of ice cream. Our food came out and was hot and adequate in size. Omelette had fresh ingredients in it and it was very tasty and cooked the production. I had the skillet and the eggs were done perfectly as I requested. The hashbrowns were good and had fresh green peppers and really good sausage in it. The food was brought out within 10 minutes of ordering. Our waitress checked on us a few times to make sure our drinks were full. The price of our meals were average and consistent with other cafés we have eaten at in the area. We did not leave hungry! Definitely we will be back as we definitely want to try their lunch Menu at sometime. Highly recommend the Elks for breakfast!

The…read moreburgers are very good and I wanna believe they're about half pound of meat as they are like at least an inch thick, but they're smaller in diameter to fit a smaller bun. Lettuce, tomato and onion great! No pickle and no pickle on the plate? This is Wisconsin and pickles and hamburgers are one and one together! I asked for my hamburger medium, and I got a medium cooked burger. However, the waitress said that the kitchen screwed up our burger orders. I got the brewery burger which I think I got the right burger, but I'm not sure. My son-in-law got the smokehouse burger and I don't believe there was any pickles or jalapeño peppers slices on it which should've been there. And It was easy for the waitress to blame the kitchen for her screwup. French fries were average and good! Chicken tenders are nice size very well breaded if you like a lot of breading and cook to perfection. We had two appetizers. The cheese curds were nice size and breaded well. We also had the chips and it had pico for a dip and a cheese sauce that was totally out of this world. Amazing. We asked for a drink menus and she brought out two pieces of paper that looked like they were handled by 1000 different people. We ordered one of their craft beers and they were totally out at two in the afternoon on a Sunday. Their soft drinks are served in clear plastic throwaway cups. The restaurant and bathroom were clean and the ambience is great for a pub restaurant atmosphere. It all goes downhill from here. It took 10 minutes for our waitress to take our drink orders and bring them out to us. She didn't have any excuse like we're understaffed or whatever except she did blame the kitchen for the screwup that she made. The prices of their food is very high for a pub.$18 for a burger and fries. Service was slower than molasses! The place was busy, but not packed! I'm guessing if you come here on a Friday or Saturday night good luck! We got the bill and we weren't gonna wait 10 minutes for the waitress to show up to run our card so we could get out so I took it up to the bar and had one of the bartenders run it through. Yes, I left a 20% tip, but I don't feel it was deserved. Not a front access has very tall steps for elderly people to navigate! They probably have a back entrance or maybe side entrance as they are on the corner. Honestly, I would avoid this place.
