Great food, authentic and tasty! Best Mexican food I've had in a while! Ordered Pickup it was ready when I got there!

Well I'm in a new area and been looking at this place for couple weeks. They lady woke up today and says she wants Mexican so I'm like let's try this place. Well let's just say bad mistake on my part. I ordered 130$ worth of food for family. Got fajitas with specifically saying no peppers on them please. Also I got couple orders of chicken cheese and rice asking please put cheese sauce on side. So fast forward I pick up and get back - well as you can see by the pics it didn't go my way. AND the meat was like lil bigger than the rice. Just disappointed as son is lactose and couldn't eat his chicken and rice he loves. The taste was okay but just was angry while eating. read more

I heard about this little quick serve taco place. Another customer recommended the fajita quesadilla. I don't know if the counter guy put in the wrong meat or the cooks did it, but they gave me steak instead of chicken. I'm not really a steak person, but I didn't want to go back so I ate it. Great flavor. The meat was pretty fatty. This place is casual. The staff are very friendly. Everything is made fresh. I'm assuming the prep work is already done and they heat the meat on the grill. Defenitely good food and I'll go back. I'm taking it easy because they are busy and only open for their 2nd day. read more

I came in for lunch recently and was greeted the minute i walked in the door. The guy behind the counter was very talkative but also willing to help in any way. I decided on their burrito with carnitas at his recommendation. I ordered a side of house hot sauce/salsa and chips to go with it. It was just about $20, so... it was kind of pricy for the food. However, im sure that the lease rent there is pricy, so i get it. It didnt taste too bad, but definitely was better with the sauce. I'll likely be back, as i work in the area. Food was hot and fresh, so much flavor. The salsa verde was thick not runny like most places. I walked back in to tip them extra after I ate in my car. I am a taco expert, I almost skipped out on this place due to the reviews. I've lived in Texas where the barbacoa is cooked underground for 8-12 hours. I know real tacos and I have to say for the area these are the best in the area hands down. I would even choose this place over 3/4 of the places in southwest Detroit and even name them comparable to Texas vendors. One of the comments I seen stated fatty prices, if you ordered carnitas it's part of the meat, and most people love it. I did have one large fatty chunk but I picked it apart and there was lots of meat in it and it made the taco even more succulent. When I head north I will 100% go out of my way for their tacos. The rice was just average nothing to brag about the beans were good flavor but nothing I would rave about but better than average. My brother ordered birria tacos and he didn't talk the entire time he ate and that says a lot, although we would have enjoyed a more rich consome it was still good. Food was well prepared and fast. Service was friendly and helpful. Prices were very high. I got a burrito with chicken, a side of rice and a bottled soft drink and it was $26.00!!! I can easily get food if this quality at several other venues for around $15. Don't think the food warrants the exorbitant price point in this case. Absolutely the best Mexican food in Brighton (and the surrounding area). It was the first time we tried it. We had the Burria tacos, tamale, and chips and salsa. Back in the day I used to be a cook at a Mexican restaurant and I can tell you this is phenomenal food. Our entire dinner for my wife and me was $20. Just super high-quality great tasting food. They are permanently on our taco Tuesday rotation! read more

These are the only legit tacos is all of Brighton. The birria is amazing. My wife and I love to get the massive birria quesadilla pizza.

This place is a true, authentic gem in this area. I lived for many years in Arizona and I have spent much time in California and Texas - if you told me I was in the southwest I would absolutely believe it! The salsas are amazing and delicious, the meats are all fantastic (the asada is my favorite), and the service is so friendly. Other reviews mention not liking the music or wanting free chips and salsa... this is a casual taco joint! I'll be back often as I've missed real Mexican food in Brighton/Howell and this place nails it. read more

Nice new taco spot in Brighton. Tasty tacos and burritos. My wife had the Fajita Burrito and I had the Quesabirria. Both were very and served fresh. We also had chips and some tasty salsa. Next time we will try the Happy Fries and probably some Pastor tacos. Definitely a new place we are glad to have and service was very quick and friendly for a counter service eatery. The customer service is friendly and quick. The food is great!! This was our second time there. We got the quesa birria tacos combo and the 3 American taco combo (ground beef). We also got 1 street taco side with ground beef! Their hot sauces on the side are very good, as well. The food was ready in less than 10! read more

Most authentic and best-tasting tacos you'll find in Brighton so far. The al pastor, chorizo, and carnitas are fantastic. Ditto for the guacamole. This place reminds us of the tacos/burritos we used to get in California. But it's not perfect: The birria tacos aren't prepared with the consome/sauce that they're named after. They're more like stewed beef put inside a traditional taco. Still tasty, just not what you might expect if you're used to birria. Also, I LOVE a good simple burrito, with just meat, beans, salsa, onion, cilantro, and maybe a small amount of rice. The classic burrito here is nearly there, you just have to ask for the cilantro and onions to come in the burrito. Then it tastes great. We'll be going back frequently! read more
