He was also going to paint the frame when he brought the new screen. He said it should arrive by the end of the week. Over the last 6 weeks, I have called and left messages, most of which were ignored. When I finally talked to the salesman after 3 1/2 weeks, he said it would be in the next week and he'd call. When I hadn't heard from him a week after that date, he said he'd check on it and get "right back" to me. Again nothing and again he didn't return my message the next day. Luckily, I hadn't paid anything and have since found a screen online. I don't know if this is now typical of YB&D customer service. They converted my fireplace from wood-burning to gas several years ago and I was beyond pleased with their service. I'm disappointed and bewildered as to why the negative service now.

They initially…read moreadvertised $20 an hour, but once hired, I had to sign a contract stating I'd only make $10 an hour for driving all over Lansing. I worked full-time, 8 AM to 5 PM, and after putting in my two weeks' notice, they fired me the moment I came to return my equipment. After speaking with multiple people, I realized this is a pattern--most employees don't last more than three weeks. It seems like their business model is to hire new workers, have them clean houses, and then fire them before they can make any real money. After two weeks of work, I only received $250, while they profited off every house I cleaned. The owner, Amy, would honestly make a better farmer because she treats her employees like cattle--disposable and replaceable. This company is unethical, and I strongly recommend avoiding them. If you're looking for a job, don't waste your time. If you're looking for cleaning services, take your business elsewhere to a company that doesn't thrive on scamming workers.

I held back per Paul's request just enough to have him come back and finish the job, yet not enough to have someone else fix the installation issues. There is no warranty nor integrity here. I would avoid using him at all costs, and unfortunately he is Rycus Floorings only and #1 guy. I waited quite a while for Heritage to install my shower, which is usually a good sign-but after the damaged tiles needed to be ordered he bailed after weeks of waiting for the new tile to come in. He agreed to pay for the new box of tile, however I am trying to find a tile guy willing to finish and fix someone else's work. Sad part is they were only a day and a half's worth of work from completion and a good review, now it's my headache.

Joy came out again once more to remeasure per the request of the Installer (I sadly forgot his name but he also should get credit) and in approximately two weeks, the installer came and set everything up in a half hour or less.
