Everybody was very helpful and Doctor Welch was especially great. They kept me completely informed of cost before and during the ordeal and did not seem like they were trying to get the most money out of me, but rather to give me choices. The cost were probably in line with everybody else in Missoula and I was not troubled with a sticker shock. I highly recommend their services! And most importantly they helped me cure my dog. As to an idea about cost: the exam was $85, blood work was around $110 and I had some meds. The total bill was $285 which I didn't think was very bad at all.

We called ahead and asked if they could do it in our vehicle so as not to further stress our girl. They agreed to do this. Upon our arrival, 2 technicians came out. One of them said that the other tech was there to learn and observe. (The procedure DID NOT REQUIRE 2 TECHS!) They didn't ask us if this was okay or get our agreement. The trainee got between us and our pet blocking us from holding her while she passed and wouldn't move. We asked her to move so we could comfort our pet during this time and she didn't move as we asked therefore making the experience even more traumatic. I finally moved her out of the way. This was not a moment to be training their employees and not asking our permission and interrupting a very upsetting time with our beloved pet. They used our grief for our dog passing away as a training opportunity for one of their techs! When we said something about it to them afterwards, they ignored us. In hindsight, we should have never gone back to them again as this experience was traumatic for our pet, us and very unprofessional. 2nd experience: we brought in our new Aussie puppy in July of 2025 for an initial exam and vaccinations. We also at the time, scheduled a spay for August 2026. Our pup has a small umbilical hernia that they said could be removed at the time of the spay for an additional $250! (Checking around, other vets charge approximately $100 in addition to the spay for an umbilical hernia procedure). We also requested a different flea/tick medication in July 2026 than the one they offered due to elevated seizures in dogs from the medication they offered/recommended. They gave us the prescription we requested based on what our dog weighed at 6 months vs her now being 14 months! We have an over a 3 hour round trip drive and they issued the wrong medication based on her 6 month old weight. We called to advise them and they said to come in the next day (another 100 mile round trip) and they would issue and have ready the corrected prescription for flea/tick meds based on her current weight. Upon arrival, the prescription wasn't ready and we were told it would be a 2-4 hour wait for the doctor to write the prescription after they'd told us it would be ready. At this point, due to their poor service, lack of attention to detail, nickel and diming us, really bad front desk service and attitude, we feel zero confidence in this clinic, their staff and the veterinarian. We canceled our dog's spay and have gone to a different veterinarian. Pryun said they'd transfer our records over the same day to our new veterinary clinic but they never did as when we arrived at the new veterinary clinic, they'd received nothing after over a week from the request. Pryun had said they'd send the records over the same day. They never once accepted responsibility for their actions nor apologized. I would NOT TRUST this clinic with our beloved pets. If we could rate them a negative review we would. Seriously lacking in professionalism and integrity in terms of not listening and service.

First, even though we completed extensive paperwork giving them instructions on how much to feed our dogs, these girls somehow thought it was acceptable to feed my 15lb shih tzu an entire cup of food TWICE a day. Of course, they ran out of food very fast seeing as he actually eats 1/4 cup twice a day. When he ran out of food, they began giving him the food they had on hand which resulted in explosive bloody diarrhea. Their solution? To lock him in his kennel for an entire day while waiting for us to come get him. By the time we got there him and all of his belongings were completely covered in bloody diarrhea. Their excuse was "he didn't feel good so we wanted him to be somewhere quiet". On top of this neglect, they also failed to properly give him his glaucoma eye drops, resulting in his eye pressure raising to THREE TIMES the safe range. Our other dog who was also being boarded there returned home covered head to toe in huge bug bites, which they tried to excuse as "an allergic reaction to shampoo". The severe lack of even basic dog care knowledge is RIDICULOUS. Do not leave your dogs with these people!
