Heidi wearing her cone after injury for two weeks.

I left my one year old German Shepherd there for a week while I was on vacation. Prior to that she passed their test and she participated in daycare, and one night stay which went well. I dropped her off on Wednesday the 17th, I asked the two young people working that day to please let me know how she is settling in, the young man, Zack told me to contact them if I didn't hear from them. So I called to check in on her the 19th or 20th. I spoke to Zack over the phone who told me Heidi ripped her nail to the quick, but they were taking care of it. He told me he put something between her kennel and the other dog for some reason and she got her nail caught. He made it sound like it wasn't a big deal. She is a gentle soul. On my way back from my trip, I called a couple of times to let them know I was trying to get there to pick Heidi up before they closed at 6:00. They did not answer the phone, but I was too late to pick her up. The next day when I picked Heidi up the young lady greeted me and I asked her about how come no one answered the phone when I called about 5:00 several times, I was told they rarely answer the phone after 5:00. Why not, they close at 6:00, how does an owner let them know they will be there by 6:00 to pick up their beloved pet when they do not answer the phone. I then asked her to clarify how Heidi got hurt, she told me she didn't know anything about putting something in the kennel to separate the two dogs who were in their own separate kennels, to me that was a red flag getting two stories. I was confused. Then Zack brought Heidi out to me, and he told me her nail injury was nothing and she was "a drama queen." I didn't like his ignorant comment. It wasn't until I got her home and took a close look at her nail, that I saw the awful deep slice in her pad. It was not her nail at all, it was much more than a simple nail injury. I called my veterinarian who got her in immediately, she cleaned the wound, dressed it, wrapped it, and gave her pain medications and an antibiotic for the infection. She could not stitch it up because there was no flesh to stitch it to. She had to keep it wrapped for several days and wear a cone for two weeks. This was a very serious wound and I don't take lightly how Zack brushed it off as nothing. I'd like to slice his hand and see how he whines! I wrote to the owners to let them know what happened, it's been over a month now and they have not responded to my letter. Staff did not email or call me to check up on Heidi either. Their lack of action tells me they only care about the money. I will not ever take Heidi there again. Be careful people, things are not always what they seem.

They took wonderful care of my 16 year old dog. He has meds so he's a bit high maintenance but they go above and beyond!

They said she had a freak out and would have to be on meds if she came back. I don't know what hell they put her thru but I will never EVER bring any of my animals back there again.

This was on a Monday or a Tuesday. We went into the x-ray room. The doctor couldn't figure out what was going on the office manager came in and rushed us out saying she was very busy. Dr. Jenny is the one that wanted us to see the x-rays so she gave her some medication, that Friday at 5 am because she had gotten so much worse. we had to take her to the emergency where she was diagnosed with FIP and had to be euthanized. all Dr. Jenny said there was a perfect storm of something going on and she wasn't sure. so why didn't she keep her or immediately send me to the emergency vet. ? I had trusted her for many years for my other cat. This has been eating at me for quite some time, but I've had health issues so this was the last thing on my list. I will agree with other reviewers that say the office manager is horrible and I've tried to be very nice to her to turn her around, but she's rude. My other senior cat and my kittens I decided to see a new vet. Obviously, there's difference of opinions with vets, but my new vet made some changes to my senior kitty taking her off medication that Dr. Jenny had her on for 10 years and she started to do so much better. I really like Dr. Jenny herself and even boarded my cats there on several occasions. The last few times I ordered them. I always gave them more food much more food than they would normally eat in the last few times I would pick them up. They said oh they ate all that food and we had to give them some of ours so I was charged with that. I thought that was kind of strange because I know how much my cats eat so to run out and then have to pay them for more food didn't sit right with me and that had only happened in the past two times that I boarded there . and I was very disappointed to find out everything I found out with different vets after I left the practice. Obviously, this has been eating at me for quite some time, but I'm still upset about my cat being sent home with FIP went at that time. There was no cure she still would have need to be euthanized but it would've saved me $800 and three days of my cat suffering needlessly I really hope some changes come about there because having a feline only practice is awesome
