This has to be one of, no it actually ranks number 1 in kennels I have come across. I have traveled…read moreto just about everywhere, at one point to Germany, in search of a German Shepherd puppy. I came home empty handed. I then found exactly what I was looking for at Jamco K9 in Angola NY. Since that time, I have been to other Kennels, but you just can't beat them in the Quality of their puppies, through the care giving while boarding. Boarding has been my most frequent use as I travel. It is certainly not the closest to me, but I know what care my dogs receive, so it is definitely worth the extra mile. So I would like to say a personal thank you to the staff for going the extra mile and how they can make you feel like family. I highly recommend Jamco K9 for all of your pet needs.

I feel it is very important to share this information with anybody considering buying GS puppies from Jamco or have a GS from my litter. Although our dogs are very loyal, well behaved, and extremely loving - both have significant medical issues. Mason has had issues with chronic diarrhea, unfortunately leading to anal gland abscesses and now has a peri-anal fistula. He follows closely with a dermatologist and is on topical cream for this. He may require immunosuppressive medication in the future. Logan has had chronic vomiting since he was a puppy. We finally were able to diagnose him (this past week) with mega-esophagus, which is congenital and can be fatal. Mega-esophagus is a condition where the tube connecting his mouth to his stomach does not work and results in significant vomiting and regurgitation. He is very malnourished at this time, but we finally have a diagnosis and are hopeful he will recover. Logan now requires a special chair to eat up right and multiple medications. There is no cure for either of these conditions and they are genetic. When I attempted to call Kelly regarding my dog issues prior to having the official diagnosis (to gather more information on the parents in hopes of figuring out my dog issues), he essentially hung up on me. Besides the extreme financial strain these multiple vet / hospital bills have cost my family, my poor dogs have been suffering. They are only two years old!!!!! I would strongly advise NOT purchasing German Shepherds from this breeder. I hope this helps anyone with similar issues as us and if anyone from our litter is having issues and has questions, please feel free to contact me at 716.861.9419.
