I'm a male customer, been going here for pedicures for about 8 years, todays trip, 12/29/22, 10 am appointment. a spa pedicure should take anywhere from 45 to an hour this guy did my spa treatment and crappy pedicure in 16 minutes like I was rushed out because I'm not spending $100 or more. This place isn't great for walk-ins or appointments for that matter. They never seem to schedule any one person at any given time unless you ask for a specific name. Also, they ever tell you how long they predict your wait time to be, rather they only ask 'can you wait?' You must always ask how long. My sister waited 45 minutes for a manicure with no warning or apologies. This is far too long for a walk-in. Nail-wise, I've been thrice now. Once the woman was very heavy handed with my finger polish, did not allow me to dry between coats and several fingernaild definitely got smudged even after a very long drying period. I will say, their pedicures are lovely! You get a yummy paraffin wax treatment that keeps you mousturized for days (hence the 3 stars)! My most recent manicure was with a tall slender gentleman who had an odd habbit of wiping off excess fingernail polish by digging his thumnail into the crease of every single cuticle. It was uncomfortable and a bit gross, in my opinion. read more

Had an appointment @1 didn't get seen until 3...the lady had me soaking my bails while she did 3 ppl ....and my Pedi was not terrible..... I'll never go back!!! read more

First time coming to a nail salon in Lakeland and Jennifer took great care of me. She took her time and did an amazing job. She cared about the details and always made sure during the pedi and mani if I was liking it so far. I will definitely come back again. read more

Very very rude people... one of the older men is VERY bad at gel polish like his hands shake and he gets it everywhere... I don't understand how he's licensed but I'll save that convo for the correct agency. When I pointed out my nails were messy as hell the "manager" chu or choo was insanely rude and rough with my nails, so much so that I outright asked her if she was upset because she was acting crazy. She cut my cuticles, completely sanded my nails down super thin and made them round and cut them short... totally insane when all I wanted was polish fixed because I was fine wit the shape... she did this without my permission and said she didn't do any of that when I told her to stop.... I ended up filing my nails myself because she clearly couldn't figure out what straight looks like. Then she had the nerve to grab my arm aggressively before I put it in the uv light dryer and rudely say make sure you like the polish first... it took everything in me not to yank my arm back and ask her did she want to try that again. Nastiest lady I have ever encountered in my life. I would avoid this place like the plague because if you check their google reviews, you'll see these people cannot polish nails and are insanely rude when something comes up. Disgusting place. I got a pedicure here and the nail technician pulled a hang nail and 1 week later I am dealing with a toe infection that won't heal! Super painful, red, and draining pus. Absolutely the best pedicure I've had in Lakeland, they were nice and actually talked and joked with you. My pedicure included leg and foot massage, hot rocks and paraffin wax for $23. Don't waste your time. I went in at 5pm on a day when scheduled hours went until 7pm. There were several people working and no one was waiting. I am always okay with waiting for an opening. About the worst gel manicure ever. Tried to save myself some time and go on my lunch break to a place near work. What a mistake. They actually tried to blame my nail polish for the crappy application!! The nail tech flooded my cuticle area with the gel polish, so naturally when I try to clean that up, it's ripping at the whole thing. In addition, while I stated TWICE that I wanted a French with my own gel polish as the base, the nail tech sloppily painted my nails as if they were staying one color. When I inquired on the shorty paint job, she acted as though I NEVER mentioned French. Then, she used a friggen tissue to wipe off the gel polish. Yes, a tissue. Grabbed a block file and tried to buff the surface. The "manager" came over and asked if they were OK like that, I said no and commented on how badly they looked and she never commented. At that point, they both wrapped my nails again to remove the polish and start over. This was the start of yet another train wreck. What you see is after me complaining. After me asking the nail tech not to rush because I didn't want a bad paint job. The smile lines are wonky, cuticles flooded, and the base polish is full of streaks. What a wonderful nail salon! Got a an eyebrow, pedicure and full set with white tips. Eyebrows look wonderful! The pedicure was amazing and they take their time and it looks and feels amazing! The owner did my acrylic set and took her time and made sure they were perfect! I loved everything about my visit I will be going back again. read more

This is the Only place I have my nails done at. Very friendly and great service for the price. This is also the only place I give my eyebrows to, Choo Choo does an amazing job. Been coming here for years, they know all the regulars by name and every time I come they ask about my family. Love this place. Are they busy? Yes all the time, I make appt but yes sometimes I have to wait a little bit, but I dont mind at all, 23.00 for pedicure with a great massage, parafin and hot rocks...thats worth the wait. read more

They are incredibly rude here if you do not make an appointment, even though they have no sign that says by appointment only. I used to go here as a walk-in all the time and they were great. Then, I don't know if they got new management or what, but all of a sudden there's one woman in particular who gives me attitude every time I walk in there. If they're busy, she will look at me with a really condescending smile and say "sorry", then tell, not ask, me to come back. Thing is, I am not going to waste my time or my gas leaving and then returning only to wait some more, it doesn't make sense. Today, I told her I didn't mind waiting and she basically said, "too bad get out" with that same snotty smile. So if you're looking for walk-in don't bother going here, they are anything but accommodating. Try Paradise Nails or NYC Nails right up the road. read more

I will NOT be returning to this nail salon! Coming from New Jersey maybe I am used to something different. They seemed very unprofessional. I went in for a gel manicure, they only had about 30 colors to choose from. My old salon must've had a hundred! Literally! It would take 15 minutes just to choose a color! Also when she was grinding the old gel off of my nail the was no fan drawing the dust away from my face and for someone with asthma like me I was not happy at all!! Pick another salon!!! read more

Every time I walk into this place, they are nothing but rude. They look up and realize you have walked in and still do not ask how they can help you or tell you how long the wait will be. This is now the third time I have sat for 15 minutes without anyone saying a word to me although they know I am there before I've given up and walked out. Not to mention that they charge TWICE the amount every other place does for gel removal, and their gel chips horribly compared to other salons. Go somewhere else! read more
