It was just my first time in a long time going there, but the two ladies (Navy did my pedicure and Nini who did my SNS nail manicure) who worked on me did fabulous work. Initially, only because I had an appointment I was going to walk out because they appeared to be so busy, but a Navy called out and said I am just about finished. So, I stayed and was glad I did. The one thing (though there were many compared to the last place I frequented, for one they seemed much more organized and did not switch people that were working on my nails) I appreciated was whoever was working on my nails was with me from start to finish and both did a superior job on my nails, and I can say that have #HappyNails! #HappyNails, #happycustomer! So far, I think they are my new place, and made an appointment again with the same two ladies. Also, they might not have been overly friendly as I have seen in other reviews, but they were focused on what they were doing. I appreciated that. Which is exactly why I am giving them 5 stars. Also, please check out the images that I uploaded (one says beautiful nails by Nini and the other says great pedicure by Navy.) because a picture speaks a thousand words. Keep in mind that the SNS colors are not the same as other mediums, but Nini helped me to get it as close as we could. First time going here and maybe that's why, because I'm new, but the service was awful. I check in at the front, ask for a fill in and pedi and they say 5 min. A group of 4 comes in and one of them says, "hey did you make an appt", the other says "no, I didn't", and that was that. The technician came up and said ok, all of you for the appt come on. someone in the group was trying to explain that they didn't have an appt and I was here before them. they didn't listen or was moving to fast to care. So, the group sat down. Within 5 min they did seat me. I request their most expensive pedicure and it was over in 25 min. polish and everything. I say "wow, that was fast", and he just laughs. He then proceeds to communicate with his volleys d they then tell me the guy who does nails is too full and can't do my nails, and can I come back tomorrow. I look at them all and say no, this should have been communicated prior to me sitting down. Another tech tries to explain it to me again by saying, it's going to take him at least an hour and if I can come tomorrow. I'm like, I understand what you're saying, but this should have been said before you sat me down and accepted my appt. I pay, no tip and leave. I will never return. I never get my nails and pedi done separately. plus if there wasn't time, they should have said that instead of rushing to get what money they could. very UNHAPPY with happy nails! read more

I'm not completely sure how to rate my experience. I took my sister and her friend here to get our nails done for her wedding. We waited an incredibly long time and we were separate for most of our time. The older man did my nails, and cut the cuticles of the first two toes he did. Yes- it hurt. They bled A LOT. He tried to hide it. He never spoke to me throughout the entire pedicure. After two coats of polish, my nails looked horrible. There were streaks and you could see the white nail in many spots. I had to have another employee (a woman- she was wonderful!) put on another coat. My sister said the entire time she was getting her nails done the guy doing her nails was really pushy about doing other, more expensive services. I probably wouldn't go back here unless I could specifically request one of the women. The photos show the scabs on my cuticles 3 days after getting them done. It was also too pricy for both the services and experience. read more

The lady who did my pedi was friendly and did a good job. The man who did my nails. Did a good job as well. I would definitely go back. Tina and Antonio, Managers of the Salon and also Husband and Wife. I have been patronizing this salon for around 2 years now. The first incident was with Mike. He was doing my nails but I came in one day and once he saw it was me he stayed in the back for at 30 - 45 minutes so he wouldn't have to do my nails. Everyone kept saying he'll be right with you. He didn't come out until I left. Please note, that I go to this salon so much that they know my vehicle. So I ignored that and started letting Antonio do my nails. He's extremely slow but does great acrylic. I went and got a full set, a fancy pedicure and eyebrow wax on Dec 17th, my birthday! However, he got mad at me because I asked him not to watch TV on his phone while doing my nails. Christmas Eve, one of my nails broke. On the 26th, I ran back in to get it fixed. I got there before the staff did and waited patiently. (Remember, they know what I drive.) I see everyone pull up and go in. I see Antonio and Tina pull up so I get out and go in and wait. Tina, gets out, comes in and starts working on a client. However, Antonio, stays in the truck. I wait and wait. (I can see him sitting in his truck) So, I ask Tina, is Antonio working today as I need him to fix my nail. She says, he's gone to Walmart as if I am not looking right him. That lets me know he's not coming in on purpose and she is in on it. (the manager) I had to get another tech to fix my nail and Antonio did not go into the building I left. I circled back around to confirm. Happy Nails needs to understand that it is the CUSTOMER who keeps their does open and excellent Customer service is a must. DO BETTER!! If I could give this place zero stars I would, i went for what I thought was a pedicure. I was promised a 10 minute massage which I did not receive. My service provider told me I was to sit with the paraffin wax for a few minutes while she left to go start on someone else's pedicure. I waited for 20 minutes, finally had to ask someone to take the wax off for me and my service provider didn't even care to acknowledge me getting up to leave or ask me if everything was okay. I then proceeded to tell the lady up front that I was not going to pay full price for a service due to the fact that I was left in the middle of it, the service provider that I had came up and started to argue with me calling me a liar, cussing at me saying she had finished my pedicure when that clearly wasn't the truth. I then asked for the manager/owner, had to ask for them to come up 4-5 times before they actually responded to me. The manager completely ignored me, the owner then stated he could do nothing about his employee for the way she was treating me. She called the cops saying I was trying to STEAL a service even though I offered to pay half of it. I have never felt so neglected in my life, I as a business owner would NEVER allow anyone to talk to my customers that way. If you're looking for good customer service, avoid this place at all costs. read more

This is the closest place to my house thought I'd give them a try but these people aren't professional use the same gloves to touch one customers feet and touch with the same hands/gloves other customer's hand or stuff. This is my go to salon for a polish change. They do a great job, filing buffing and polish for just $5! It also takes only 20 minutes. Perfect for a lunch time task to complete. I've also gotten a mani pedi here but I would recommend making an appointment if it's for fri-sun. It's not the most luxurious or glamorous spa but for mebane it's perfect and the service is great! Poor customer service and workmanship. I was told the wait would be about 20 minutes it was more like 65 minutes later before they had someone available. The gentleman was careless and hurt my hands and did a poor job. Three days after my nails were done, I had a chip in 2 locations. I called to make an appointment to get my nails fixed and was told they don't take appointments. I refused to wait for another 60 minutes and went elsewhere to get my nails fixed. Thought I would give them a chance as they are the closest located salon to me but i am so dissapointed with the product. Got these nails done not even a week ago (5 days to be exact) and they are holding up terrible, within the first day they already looked awful and were bubbling terrible so i went back and asked for them to be fixed and the whole time i got an attitude from the employee. The gel is now chipping off (which is an issue I've never had before with acrylics) the polish is bubbling AGAIN and looks terrible and there's odd spots on my nails where it looks as if polish has been buffed off, which i didn't buff any, so i assume they didn't put enough polish and it's staining?? They also didn't do any cuticle work before filling (ie. pushing them back or cutting) so after only 5 days the nails look like they need a fill in.. again extremely dissapointed with the nails and will not be returning read more

First time here. As soon as we walked in, a young lady greeted us and asked what we wanted and took us right in. My girls were satisfied with what they got (Fill in & Pedi's) the employees helping them seemed nice and unbothered. I didn't get the lady's name that helped me but she was not very pleasant. When she glued my nails on and started filling them, my own actual nail had broke with my set before, so it was some skin where the nail was supposed to go and she payed no mind and stuck the nail right on. As she began filing it, the nail she put on popped of because she positioned it on my skin and not my actual nail!! I could tell she lowkey got mad & she just re did it again. After she was done i took a look and two were crooked as heck. She used the excuse of "it's your finger that's crooked not the nail" i've gotten my nails done for years and never had that problem. I told her if she could please fix it before putting acrylic on, she RAISED her voice at me and started rubbing my freaking nails off HARSH as heck!! Which made my actual broken nail hurt and burn really bad! After yanking them off she proceeded to file again, harsh. 15/20 minutes later she apologized and said she was sorry that she was thinking of something else... girl what? No, you were mad because i asked you if you could fix my crooked nail. Her service was awful and looked like she didn't enjoy her job. Once painting them she messed up and sucked her teeth and cursed. Never going back there only because she made my FIRST TIME experience the worst. The rest of the employees were very nice seemed to know what they were doing and what customer service is supposed to be like. My nails now look crooked & lumpy & still charged me full price. Smh. If you ever go in here and see a curly haired, middle age, brown skin lady, with glasses, i suggest you ask for someone else. read more

My wife and I went to Happy Nails today for pedicures I must say this was the first time in my life I've ever had a pedicure and it's an experience that I have been missing out on for a long longtime. Our wait was short the service and detail that was put forth was extraordinary as long as I have money in my pocket I will never ever cut my own toenails again. Terrible customer service and even worse skill. I got my nails done here this weekend, acrylics with tips and that's it, french manicure so the tips were white. Nothing special. Got home and realized that the underside of my natural nail was not even attached to the nail tip at the free edge. The only thing holding these things on is a little glue about 1/4 of the way down my nail and the acrylic overlayed on top. Also the acrylic is separating from the nail tip and it's not supposed to do that either. I went back to the salon for them to make it right or refund my money and tip and was told they are supposed to be like that. If you know anything about nails you will know that this isn't true. It feels like they will pop off any minute. The shop owner would not give me my money back and told me to have another customer look at them and see what they thought. He told me in front of the whole shop that he had been doing nails for 7 years and I was his first complaint. I have since filed a complaint with the NC Cosmetic Arts Board and BBB and I stopped payment on the transaction. If someone has been doing nails for that long and doesn't see anything wrong with this there is a huge problem. read more
