Whoa. Let me tell ya. I've been to a lot a nail salons for pedicures. A lot. As a Full Time RVer, traveling, I like to get my toes done after a camping trip. I thought I'd try Happy Nails, as it was close to WalMart, and I had some shopping to do. I walked in and was greeted with the most wonderful feeling of cool air! Being in Louisiana, an air conditioned room is welcoming! It didn't have that "salon smell" either, which was wonderful. Immediately, I was greeted and asked the usual "Manicure? Pedicure?" Pedicure please! I chose my color (there are two towers of shades) and was then directed to a comfy chair at one of the pedicure stations. My feet were placed in the amazing warm tub where they were engulfed by the most wonderful jets of water. Sitting there, relaxing, I was able to have my choice of tvs to watch. One was showing a local channel(KALB) and the other was a News Network. I noticed there were quite a few people getting their nails done, yet it wasn't overly loud. Very calm and nice. A woman sat in front of me and started my pedicure. The massage??? Oh dear sweet baby Jesus. Best massage ever. After my toes were painted, she place a warm moist towel over my legs. She then proceeded to massage my neck and upper back. I was transformed! It was heavenly. The charge was $20 for a basic pedicure. I have found the place I will go to while I'm in CenLa. read more

This is the only only third time I have been to a nail salon It was worst I wouldn't recommend them at all. The reviews said they would massage your shoulders and back NOOOOO!!! Only if you were little, white or a man!!! And I sat by a little girl maybe 5. The lady was rude and hurtful to her!!! If I was her mother, w would have walked away and cursed her out. NEVER NEVER GO THERE!!! Oh, I am white, and the other lady I went with she has been to other salons. She will never go back either. read more

It's fine for being what it is - a salon in a small town. I'm from Houston and I totally acknowledge that I'm spoiled on nail salons. I'm used to paying a little extra for more pampering, but here they don't offer those upgraded options. For the price ($20 for pedicure and $23 for gel manicure) you get a polish, a mediocre leg massage (although it's great that a shoulder massage is included with the pedicure), a warm towel laid on your legs that quickly turns cold, and some "cleaning up" on cuticles and such. However, the gel manicure included a base coat, 2 gel coats, and a top coat - I'm used to having 3-4 gel coats. I'm also used to a little more "cleaning up" than they do here. However, my friend who lives here really enjoyed it and said if that's all you expect/are used to - then it's a good deal. I would have given 3.5 stars if that was an option. read more

I was a walk in. Seated very quickly and very friendly staff. I got a pedicure. It was relaxing, the water was warm and the massage chair was very nice! A lady even comes around and does a hand shoulder/neck massage while getting your pedicures. I always get regular nail polish for my pedicures. The color I picked (black sparkle) turned out very cute! They have several color options to choose from, which is helpful! It was also very cheap! But I didn't sacrifice the quality for the cheap price. Very happy with my pedicure and service! read more

Where do I start. The salon is not horrible but they are extremely aggressive with the upgrades. They also weren't busy but rushed through my entire mani/pedi. I got this odd feeling that they prescreen customers. As soon as we mentioned we weren't locals and just passing through town it was as if we got a different level of service than some of the what looked to be regulars. Friendly service. Those people help you out with a lot with getting pampered and pretty. Quality work, low prices. You can get a manicure for $10. I got a mani/pedi gel polish with a gorgeous warm red color, and even though I'm pasty white, it still looks nice. They worked hard and did a fantabulous job! Love happy nails!! read more

One star because I can't choose less. Technician told me he did not want to see photo of shape I wanted and I sure didn't get it. I was a fool to go back; technician was so rough with my nails after three visits my own nails started coming off. Called 4 times to speak to manager; never available. read more

Very basic nail salon. I came here 2 months ago. The lady that did my pedicure couldn't give me what I wanted and asked another tech to come do my pedi. Instead of telling me if I wanted something else, she did whatever she wanted to my nails, and they charged me more than their normal price for something I didn't want or liked. It's been 2 months since I've gone there and the skin around my toenails has increasing been in pain. I've never had an issue at any other nail salons I've been to. They must not clean very well for me to get an infection. I wouldn't go back nor would I recommend. read more

I've always had wonderful service at Happy Nails. Their prices are affordable, the staff is friendly, and they are fast--I've never had to wait for a chair to open! (And they are at nearly-full capacity quite often!) I recommend Happy Nails to friends looking for a better nail salon every time I'm asked! read more

I am from out of town and decided to treat myself today to a manicure and pedicure. I walked right in, picked my polish, and did not wait to sit at the pedicure chair.
