I thought I'd try Happy Nails, as it was close to WalMart, and I had some shopping to do. I walked in and was greeted with the most wonderful feeling of cool air! Being in Louisiana, an air conditioned room is welcoming! It didn't have that "salon smell" either, which was wonderful. Immediately, I was greeted and asked the usual "Manicure? Pedicure?" Pedicure please! I chose my color (there are two towers of shades) and was then directed to a comfy chair at one of the pedicure stations. My feet were placed in the amazing warm tub where they were engulfed by the most wonderful jets of water. Sitting there, relaxing, I was able to have my choice of tvs to watch. One was showing a local channel(KALB) and the other was a News Network. I noticed there were quite a few people getting their nails done, yet it wasn't overly loud. Very calm and nice. A woman sat in front of me and started my pedicure. The massage??? Oh dear sweet baby Jesus. Best massage ever. After my toes were painted, she place a warm moist towel over my legs. She then proceeded to massage my neck and upper back. I was transformed! It was heavenly. The charge was $20 for a basic pedicure. I have found the place I will go to while I'm in CenLa.

Tonight me and my grandchildren went and had our nails and toes done I asked for me and my…read moregranddaughter to have regular nail polish so they painted our toes then went to desk for nails told them I wanted regular nail polish well when the lady started painting my nails it was thick and clumpy they put second coat and top coat all at once I said your suppost to let dry between coats the lady said it will be ok they told me to keep nails under dryer for 10 mins so I did then when time was up I went to the bathroom when I gently dried my hands the polish slid right on off. I showed owner and she was very rude and told me that's what happens when you get regular polish I reply no regular polish don't just slide off. So she sends a boy to do my nails and when he took the polish out the box it said gel polish I told him I wanted regular polish he said it is regular he put 2 coats back to back and top coat I told him your supposed to let them dry between coats he just kept going. While owner was talking crap about me in their language my grandkids seen her acting like she was choking me with her hand gesture when I was turned around the boy said wait 13 mins under fan I did as soon as I took my hand out and gently touched my nails tge polish slipped right off. By this time I was pissed and asked them to take it off and just put clear coat on my nails they refused and owner would not fix the problem she kept getting loud saying regular polish slides off I told her no it doesn't my toe nails didn't do it or my grandchild didn't. Tried to explain to rude owner they used regular polish on toes but used gel on nails then a few mins later she lied and said they only did gel nails but they did regular polish on toes so caught her in a lie right there if they knew they did gel nails why not put me under the lamp bc I clearly said regular and bottle said gel they do not listen and most of them don't understand what you are telling them or either they just don't care I will not go back to them and I will spread the word this is just plain ridiculous. Yall look up the reviews before coming here!
