Alanah was so sweet with her and listed to all her wishes and concerns with her hair and really made her feel beautiful. Outside of that she did a fantastic job on her hair. I have recommended her to anyone that has asked. 10 out of 10 recommend!

As far as services, like a few others have claimed, Ive been to most of the local shops here and they fall short of what they do here. Id recommend this place to any of our LEO's and Military as they can give you the haircut you are needing to be within hair and grooming regulations.

I was greeted by 2 barber one with dreads who appears to be the owner who is very friendly and professional, and the person who cut my hair . I asked if they take walk-ins and the new barber was asked if he could get me after the person who was in his chair to which he replied yes, I get in the chair, I tell him exactly how I want it , when he started cutting I immediately knew he was messing my hair up, during the cut he turned me towards the mirror where I could actually see the progress and he totally ignored my request, once the haircut was finished he handed me a mirror and asked me if I liked it ... this is the worst haircut I've ever received in my life and I'm 21 years old . The owner then comes and ask me if I liked it (which he could clearly see the cut and that I'm upset ) and I respond I'm still looking at it which I was , I then told the guy he did the exact opposite of what I asked for and horribly messed up my lining . While walking out the owner calls me into his private cutting room , where he apologizes and tells me that the guy is new and cuts underneath them as an apprentice and that he's still learn. Which I replied i understand and that with more practice he'll be a great barber , I then explain that I was getting my haircut for my fiancé's baby shower and I really needed the cut , the owner then apologized again and offered to make it right once my hair grows back or whatever, I then asked if there anything I could do to save it , he told me no that I would have to shave it or let it grow out , being told that it was like a punch in the face but I understood that those were my only options, he then gave me his business card and told me to contact him and that he would accommodate me because of this situation, the owner was very professional but at what cost , my hair cut looks like a blind person cut it . I do recommend the too barbers who have there own room in the barber shop but I wouldn't go for a walk-in , I would post a picture but I can't bring myself to do so because looking at my hair cut make me going into a rage and I really hate it , just take my word for it it's F**ked up

I thought I'd try Happy Nails, as it was close to WalMart, and I had some shopping to do. I walked in and was greeted with the most wonderful feeling of cool air! Being in Louisiana, an air conditioned room is welcoming! It didn't have that "salon smell" either, which was wonderful. Immediately, I was greeted and asked the usual "Manicure? Pedicure?" Pedicure please! I chose my color (there are two towers of shades) and was then directed to a comfy chair at one of the pedicure stations. My feet were placed in the amazing warm tub where they were engulfed by the most wonderful jets of water. Sitting there, relaxing, I was able to have my choice of tvs to watch. One was showing a local channel(KALB) and the other was a News Network. I noticed there were quite a few people getting their nails done, yet it wasn't overly loud. Very calm and nice. A woman sat in front of me and started my pedicure. The massage??? Oh dear sweet baby Jesus. Best massage ever. After my toes were painted, she place a warm moist towel over my legs. She then proceeded to massage my neck and upper back. I was transformed! It was heavenly. The charge was $20 for a basic pedicure. I have found the place I will go to while I'm in CenLa.
