As a parent of 3 children, with one of them in school already, I needed a place for the other 2…read morewhile I was working. I couldn't leave them with my mother because she keeps herself busy and it would be hard for her trying to keep and eye on them and as she would put it, "They drive me up the wall!" That's o.k. though; I love my mother and I understand kids are kids and they do get into things. About 2 years ago she found this day care, Silver Spoon's Pre-School about My gathering from the kids are that they enjoy the place and a good part about it is my oldest child, who's already in school, gets picked up by Silver Spoon's from his school and they take him to the day care center. So all my 3 kids are being watched over while I'm still at work. My understanding is when my oldest child is brought to the day care center, he can finish his homework or he can play with the other children doing other types of learning activities. When I dealt with the staff in trying to enroll my kids they were professional and respectful. I really liked how they went over their policies with me and made me feel comfortable about leaving my kids their with them. An example of one of their policies is that "NO ONE" other than the parent they deal with can pick them up. So to me, even if my "ex" tries to pick them up claiming to be their father they will not let him take them and one of the employees will call me to verify any changes on picking up my kids and if they can't get a hold of me, well they'll just keep them their until I verify or until I pick them up. I love that! Overall; I love the that my kids enjoy this day care, because that's my number one priority. If they didn't like it I would have taken them out long time ago. Secondly, the employees are professional and informative. But I would have to say most importantly for me (my opinion), is the safety and security of my children. While I'm away from them and working, I know my kids are safe and being well taken care of by good employees and If ever they need to to contact me for any reason, I'm only a phone call away.

This place hasn't changed a bit and is still such a great center. My husband and I moved outside of 1604 and we have toured other daycares closer to home, but nothing compares to Little Learning Center. So we make the daily commute for this center and it is so worth it. As a teacher, I was also very pleased and very impressed to hear about the new curriculum that they'll be using to help get their kids ready for primary school. Once again, very pleased with the Little Learning Center, their staff, and their child care facility! My husband and I are looking forward to many new memories for the next few years with our baby going here! And if you read my previous review, we're also looking forward to all of the gifts and crafts we'll be receiving from our baby over the next few years! I still have all of my now 10 year old's daycare gifts and crafts from the Little Learning Center. They are some of my most cherished keepsakes. Thanks Millie and staff!

Valerie, Diane, Lucy, Rosie, Megan, and Millie are all top-notch, but the other staff members seemed wonderful as well--we just didn't get the opportunity to meet them all. They seem to treat each other like family, and honestly seem to treat the kids like family as well. Just the owner's husband walking around - Sometimes we'd pick our son up and he'd be in a different classroom with teachers we've never seen and older kids in there as well - We would often pick him up and his clothes were filthy - We used to receive artwork and evidence of learning, but it all suddenly stopped Last, a big piece of advice would be to make sure any communication to/from the owner/manager is in writing.

Instead they let him cry the whole time he was there, and out of two weeks of going they only picked him up once. I watched on the camera app (which is very grainy and has no sound) and the teachers would literally just ignore him. There's no cameras outside and I had enough of this place when I surprise picked him up and he was sitting outside in the heat next to the door scream crying and no one was paying him any attention. They said he had been crying the whole time. I literally can't believe it. Pick him up! Nurture him! Help him feel safe! Instead they took away his stuffed animal puppy and just let him cry. Sending my 18 month old boy to this place is my biggest regret as a parent so far.
