I feel so lucky to have found this place. The teachers are wonderful, my daughter loves coming to…read moreschool & she is thriving on their curriculum. I stayed home with her for 2 years & never could have dreamt that I would find care for her that is affordable & managed so well. They have cameras which gives me peace of mind as well as their daily forms which allows me to track how she did throughout the day, what she ate, & how many times she's gone to the restroom. I couldn't have imagined a smoother transition for us both. So glad I found this gem!

I am a grandparent who works. My grandson is 9 months. We were terminated from this daycare because…read morewe informed them my grandson would be attending at 11:00 on Monday due to a Dr's appointment for a swallow study. The daycare informed us that they will not take him because it would be too late. My grandson has several health issues. My wife sent a very strong message to the daycare informing them of her displeasure. That's when they terminated our enrollment. In the pass they kept money that was owed to us because they were paid by us and CPS for the same week, which was $300.00. My grandson has contract hand, mouth and feet disease, ear infections, several flu-like symptoms events, pink eye X2, etc. He has fallen 2 times while under their care. He has been picked up with his face NOT cleaned of dried mucous. There has been 3 separate weeks when my grandson was not permitted to attend but was charge full price of $300.00, each week. I'm confident that he has contracted these illnesses from the daycare because he only spends time at home or in the daycare.

Jeanette the "director" is hardly ever in her office or there in general. I withdrew her due to them never communicating I was behind a week of payment because she did not attend after she got sick after having her there 1 week. This was my first time putting my child in any type of child care since she had been born and this was a terrible experience. I thought that because I paid out of pocket that I can trust that these people actually cared about the well being of children and not just money but this is far from the truth. The office staff is always lounging eating by the front while the teachers seem to be busting their butts in the classroom. The director never even called me to explain or even apologize on the lack of communication based on THEIR part. They make you do a $300 enrollment/app/ and supplies when you first enroll. Again my daughter never even got a cubby and they were unprepared for her the first day we took her. Don't give this place your money invest it somewhere they actually care. Do not let the splash pad fool you.

They left two children outside in the Texas heat. bc they forgot about them not being responsible & doing head count. Mr. Austin kissed my 5 year old on her cheek which is 100% inappropriate and who the heck does that. The daycare did nothing. I called Cps but they did nothing either. My 2 year old came home with nail marks under his arm and yet no one knew anything and couldn't give me an answer about who did it. Teachers don't last here at all. A new teacher every two weeks & the ones they hire think their baby sitting. One teacher didn't like changing pampers. That same teacher kicked a 2 year olds cot while he was sleep & when asked about he said he was trying to wake the child up. That same teacher was constantly seen on his phone & when I reported It. They said they had a talk w him. That same teacher left the kids unsupervised during nap to go into the restroom for a full 8 minutes bc I watched & also immediately complained. But the director made excuses again. I'm in the middle of transferring my child I dont Trust these people. They constantly call about having to pick up my child bc they see a red bumps that "may be HFM". When I get My child there's absolutely no bumps. It's been stressful. Their breakfast sucks. It'll be like a banana and dry cheerios. That's it. Or a bagel alone.the director lies always trying to find a way to make him get the heat instead of owning up and taking accountability. When you watch on the camera the kids are always crying and the teacher always passes by them ignoring them not even comforting them. They claim we are past due on a balance n my kid can't return but yet when I ask For an invoice of how they are getting a total of $411 no one knows. When it was all said and done and had to go receipt by receipt turns out it was only $100 in late pick ups over the months that they didn't tell me about. They are unprofessional. Inconsiderate and inconsistent. Save yourself the headache and don't trust these people w your children. They hire babysitters. My son been there since he was 11 months and now he's 2. They would ignore me on the daycare app. When I would see my child running w no shoes or socks. When I would pick him up another teacher told me "girl they let him run outside w no shoes" when I saw my sons feet when we left the daycare he had cuts from mulch on the bottom. And never would return his socks. He would come home in other peoples pampers. The wipes I'd take would be gone in 2 days from using yhem on everyone. Smh It's went down hill since. The whole daycare needs a new staff

She's ready to move on all because La Petite loved on her, grew on her, and helped teach her what she needs to know. I don't even have a favorite teacher because they're all great teachers, directors included. As a whole, they really care and that means so much coming from a single parent that never had to worry about my child's safety and intelligence dropping her off every morning at this location just so I can make it. I wish I could keep it this way next year but since kindergarten is calling, I hope this review stands out to other potential parents looking for a safe place for their child/children.

I rebuke my last review!!…read more I do not recommend sending any two year old here, for a Christian School the behavior of the kids biting have no consequences and never take action. They continue to let the children bite innocent children that have no say because they are too young to express the hurt. But as long as they get their weekly pay that's all that matters to this childcare facility! Greed is not running a good business when children are being bit ... 4 bites in 5 days ... that's what has been happening to my grandson... since being here he's been bitten 18+ times!!! What would you do when as a single mom that has to keep her child in daycare???

Her teachers have been great and always provide updates on how her day went. You do need an app to unlock the front and back door which gave us a great sense of security and there are observation windows outside the infant classrooms and classroom cams in the lobby in case you want to check on you kiddo without any disruption. There is also an app where we were provided updates, when our daughter was fed, changed and any learning activities for that day/week (along with pictures)!! I can't say enough great things about Pillars on Reed road and I wish we didnt have to leave but so happy that we were able to enroll our little for the short remaining time we have left here.

We were greeted upon entering the Center and classrooms. The Director answered all of my questions. We were given a Handbook, which outlined all of the policies(WHICH I ABSOLUTLY LOVED) Each day my daughter comes home sharing what she is learning. She is always so excited to go to school. We almost missed out on this Center due to the negative reviews, but I am very happy we stopped in for our selves. I learned that no program is perfect, an when policies are enforced people will get upset. My daughter loves this school, an that makes me very happy!! Thank you for the care you show all of the children in this school!!!

He was bit a week later again. He also started coming home with bruises that again we werent notified about and only seen when changing his diaper and taking him a bath. We would have to ask what happened the following day and would just get a "we'll look into it.". This started happening more and more frequently. People leave their child with you trusting you're watching them, having no answers for bruises and worse off not even informing us of them is poor communication. I'm so glad he's no longer there. If you dont want your child coming home with bruises that the daycare cant explain causes for, don't bring them here.

Right from the start of school, there were some major issues - not enough teachers, the school director wasn't on top of things, and the school was all over the place. While my child was there for about a year and a half (I didn't have other choices at the time), she went through a lot of things that I thought were really not okay. The teachers always had excuses that didn't really make sense. What really upset me was when my child came home with marks one day. She had marks that looked like they were from an adult's nails, but they said it could have been from a bush or another kid's hand. I had already talked to the state about problems before, but I didn't see any improvements. The school director and the person in charge of the area just gave me excuses. Nothing worse than your child lifting their arm and saying "dada ouch, dada ouch" over and over. Because of what she went through from the start, my child started biting as a way to protect herself from all the bad stuff. I had cameras on her all day, so I know how often it happened. But the teachers didn't seem to notice as usual. After an investigation, they kicked my child out for biting. On that same day, we got a call from a much better school nearby. Since she moved there, my child is doing so much better - learning more, talking and signing better. I really think the old school and its staff were holding her back. If I could rate that place, I'd give it a 0 for all the awful stuff we had to deal with. Do your child a favor and stay away from here.

However, storing cots in bathrooms(major red flag)completely unacceptable! As an early childhood educator with over 20 years of professional experience, this practice has never been allowed and raises serious health, safety, and licensing concerns. Programs should strive to exceed minimum standards--not settle for what is considered "acceptable" in Texas. This mindset is part of why Texas ranks so low nationally in education. Parents need to pay close attention to these details. Additionally, communication with assistant teachers needs significant improvement. The level of care and oversight from the lead teacher to assistants in the afternoon is lacking and needs immediate attention. After school care providers never seem to know what going on. Get to know your kids, on an individual level, know their needs and pay attention. Toddlers/preschoolers should not be without water especially during snack or meal times.

This school was a terrible experience for my family. While other parents were getting regular…read moreupdates and pictures of their children, I received almost nothing. Communication was constantly a struggle -- I was often called at work about missing items even though I always asked ahead of time if anything was needed. When I did get updates, it was usually last-minute, leaving me scrambling within an hour to fix things. What hurt the most was when my child was hit in the face by another student, and I wasn't told until more than three hours later. No parent should have to find out something like that long after it happens. As a foster parent, I work hard to give my children stability and comfort, but this school made that transition so much harder than it needed to be. I truly hope no other parent has to go through what we did. Please look for a different preschool where your child will be cared for, and where you'll be treated like a valued parent -- not an afterthought.
