Being almost Halloween, a good chunk of the store dedicates itself to costumes and Halloween decorations and I remember I used to shop here for my costumes as well but there are specific seasonal Halloween stores everywhere now which I'm sure hurt business but this place is still hanging in there. Rounding up from 3.5 stars the selection does it. The prices aren't too bad but won't beat other big name stores. Some things you just can't find anywhere else, for that I am still happy this store is still here.

I recently had an event that I needed balloons for and was able to reach out to 5 Balloons. As a fellow DIY-er, I've considered just making the balloons myself, but remembered how many balloons it would take, the tying of balloons, the labor to set up and more, it was just a huge weight off my shoulders to get someone who's craft is actually balloons. When I called, we talked about the date and inspirations that I had for my event. She asked questions about the location, and set up times to ensure that she will be able to meet the needs I needed for my event. On the day of the event, she showed up right at the time that we communicated, and her work exceeded my expectations. Folks were taking pictures with the balloons all night, and we even kept it up for others to enjoy for a week or so after. All in all, they were great with communication, and delivered exactly what we talked about. I can't wait to work with them again for upcoming events.
