Quiches are simply magnificent and main courses at long last (and a rarity) demonstrate that vegetarian food needn't be a tasteless stodge, but can be stimulating, with a variety of interesting textures and a delicious combination of flavours. The restaurant (self service) gets very busy and it may not be easy to find a space but it's well worth a visit to complement your tour of this delightful city. It's neatly tucked into the back of the Village Arcade (?) and really cozy after a chilly morning. The shop is small with a couple of seats inside and plenty of seating outside in the covered arcade. The owner was so lovely and one can tell that he loves his job (and the food he's serving). Got the Mediterranean veg sandwich with hummus, which was filing, along with a nice cup of chai tea :) If you're looking for a nice veg/vegan place to try and have just finished a walk around here, do come check this place out. Then when we highlighted this to the staff the waiter apologised but the manger specifically had no apology...literally blanked us and did not say sorry! Not what I would expect from anywhere, especially Henley. Terrible...avoid if you want some customer service. Pretty disappointing as it was so beautiful inside.
