I'm giving this place a 1 star cause I can't give it a 0. I've been a couple times and never seemed to have a problem. But this last time the guy who conducted the massage made me feel super uncomfortable. I had to stop him mid massage. And I got up and told him that the massage was done with, he said he wasn't done with the massage. Which is weird that all of a sudden he understood me, when I told him the stones were super hot he acted like he didn't know what I was saying still applying them to my skin. The device was not that great there was no relaxing music and you could constantly hear people walk around disrupting the relaxation. At the end of the session I was forced to give a higher tip. They should raise the prices if they want but I don't think it's right to force someone to leave a higher tip. read more

Experienced this super friendly business a week ago when my visiting Aunt treated me and my mother to a one hour massage. There's differences in massages like a 45 minute massage compared to a full hour massage. We had the full hour and I actually drifted off into slumber-land during the session. Loved that! Alot actually and my mother as usual and customary as did her sister and my Aunt thoroughly enjoyed the experience which began with being asked the level of pressure of each persons massage. I've had some painful deep tissue massages in my lifetime which left me battered and bruised. At least it felt like I was being battered but not here at Happy Feet Massage. The pressure was perfect! You can request your masseuse by name which my Aunt did and she had Tony working on her. The woman running the front desk my Aunt says is the owner of the business and was beyond friendly and thankful for our business. This goes a long way in my book. They take walk-ins and appointments. Perfect for fulfilling needs and wants. The separator which separates the front desk area and the massage area is a curtain or two but surprisingly there wasn't much noise that came from the area while being massaged. I though the massage was over because of how long I was facing down while laying down and politely asked to turn over. No complaints just saying that the massage was quality and so much so that I lost track of time. Going to be purchasing a one hour massage for my mother for Christmas at least this way she will be getting a gift she can't wait to use. read more

Later, I called and I made an appointment for the next day. I drove all the way there and they turned me away because they didn't have any appointments. I was frustrated and pissed off. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I just went in with a friend to get a massage. The guy who came up was an older gentleman and he was short and said "come back in an hour". While we were standing there talking to him, a black woman came in and stood behind us and PATIENTLY waited to be seen next. This man flips out on her snatched the card out of her hand, and said "why did you interrupt me I'm talk to customer", she didn't get rude she just said "why are you being mean to me? I didn't do anything" She did NOTHING wrong. She just wanted her card stamped that she forgot to have done. We felt embarrassed for her, and she walked out crying. First time my husband and I went it was great. Very relaxing. We came back a second time and we both had a bad experience. Our massages were given aggressively and hard. We both were hurting. I could hear the guy who was massaging my husband grunting. It was super awkward and the female who did mine was pushing so hard I was holding my breath. Bought a Groupon for this place. Once we got there to check the man at the front told me to refund the Groupon and pay there instead after saying no thank multiple times he was still trying to force me to refund. After redeeming Groupon and getting mad cause I didn't refund a lady come out of the back and says Groupon is broken so I can't use it. They both start yelling back and fourth looking at us and call the "boss" he says there hasn't been a Groupon redeemed and basically says I'm lying and he will be there soon. Gets there and is like no your Groupon says redeemed and I tell him it was redeemed there. He looks at his app asks my name and realizes I was right. And his excuse about his rude staff was they don't speak English. Which is ridiculous cause they were trying to force me to refund Groupon is English for at-least 20 min. So after being yelled at for 20 min we are hoping to get a refund for my $110 but because it was redeemed we are having a hard time. We love this place and visit it regularly at least once a month. We work so hard & deserve to treat ourselves. You get 1 hour foot massage for $25! They start by soaking your feet in warm water and pretty much massage you from head to toe with clothes on in a comfortable recliner. Though it takes time to find the right masseuse. Unfortunately sometimes you have to go through not so good ones but once you find the right person for you, just request that specific person for each visit. Always so happy with service and people that work there, Problem is that many friends/family have purchased gift certificates for me. I tried to use one early January, was told it expired end of December. First I thought because I'm a long time customer they would honor it. But no. when I went home and researched California statutes and federal ordinances and law, I found this policy is illegal to put expiration date on gift certificate/gift card. Only legal option is if it was given as a prize. I will go back and explain this again, so I may use it legally. If not, they will lose my regular business, along with many friends and family I bring. I explained my challenge the last time with the new person, so she said that she would schedule me with the owner, Tom. I went to Tom twice during this trip, and he was able to give me a strong massage. In fact, I had some crazy pain that he made disappear, so I was very satisfied. My wife has a skin condition where she cant have oil, the man didnt speak english even enough for him to understand her numorous requests for no oil so but applied it anyway.
