I've been a customer for as long as the store has been open, i shop at DD's at least 2x a month…read more This afternoon I walked in w my parents and my sister found this beautiful wooden jewelry box that i loved it seemed to be a.2 piece set, as it had a second box wrapped and protected with foam pieces on the sides. The price was $14.99 which i considered amazing considering that not only was it a beautiful piece but it was a 2piece. When we got to the register the cashier/manager opens the jewelry box, takes out the box that was carefully nested on the inside, tears the wrapping on the box, I'm here thinking that he's probably removing a sensor but no, instead hesays these 2 items are priced individually. First of all they have at least 3-4 more of those exact jewelry boxes on the shelves with the same smaller wrapped box on the inside. Here he is being an Ahole saying want it or not? Of course i want it but as it was placed on the shelve as a 2 picece, not my fault they're not doing their job unpacking if the second box had not been fullt wrapped and protected with the foam pieces i would've been able to see that it was not a set but instead of this ahole asking for an apology for them fucking up he had a very arrogant, and rude attitude making seem as if it was my mistake that his staff didn't stock the items individually on the shelves.

OUTLET Low Cost Store Positive; super low cost on all items and they have some good finds. Negatives: long lines Let's be realistic, if you are paying $1 for shoes , $1 for shirts , you can't expect too much. It's almost like Goodwill except everything is New. The shelves are not completely stocked, but they don't need to be; the prices will get those people in and those lines will stay long. It's not free but it's definitely charitable prices. Well done

Great closeout/clearance items everything from shampoo to houseware items food, candy, snacks,…read moremiscellaneous, houseware items, closeout items, sports team products thermos cups you name it. You always find something great in the store for a very reasonable price. Dog snacks and toys. Found some great planter containers for .25 cents and a summer flavor Gatorade that was great for half of what other stores charge. I found these cheese puffs one time they were so good. I went back and got more a few days later. They also had these little small snack size bags of a pretzel snack that had a barbecue mustard flavor to it and those were so good. They're only $.25 a bag. I went back and got more of those as well but they don't last long once the items are cleared out they're gone. It's a clearance store.

Wow!! Does it get better than 3 floors of thrift goodies? Village Discount has several stores…read morethroughout Chicago but none of them are this big! The first floor is women's and baby clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, etc. The second floor is more jewelry, housewares, and men's and boys clothing. The third floor is furniture, books, and other miscellaneous stuff. If you're exhausted or overwhelmed by the first two floors, you're not missing much if you skip the third floor. This place is a hike too! The stairs are narrow and steep. They don't have traditional shopping carts. They have rolling baskets you pull around...and if you have a decent haul going, you're going to have to take all that with you to the upper floors. I give this store 4 stars (employees are pretty friendly too) for the quantity of stuff here...and good stuff! I bought 3 dresses and paid about $25. This store gets 2 stars for parking (street parking with a pay box) and its overall location. This store is not in a good area. I would come back here but only with friends...not alone.

Located in Little Village, this is a massive thrift store. It has 3 levels. Women's is downstairs,…read moremen's and housewares are on the 2nd floor, and furniture and wall art are on the 3rd. With 3 floors, you're going to find pretty much everything you can imagine. Be prepared to really dig though. Truthfully, I prefer thrifting in more curated shops. I'd rather pay more for stuff that has already been carefully picked by shop owners than sift through rows and rows of very basic brands looking for that one gem. Look at the tag colors and check if it's a color that's 1/2 off. You can find some really great deals that way. While I left empty handed after 90 min of shopping, my friend scored a few things she likes
