The wear was so bad that it created a serious safety concern and could have resulted in a tire failure or blowout while I was driving on the freeway. Because of that experience, during my most recent service I specifically asked the technician to check whether my tires were wearing on the inner edges. I was shocked when he told me that he doesn't do that. Afterward, I looked into Valvoline's policy and learned that tire inspections are not part of their service. I understand that now, but I think customers should be made aware of this especially when having their tires rotated. I had assumed that if a technician was removing and rotating my tires and noticed severe or potentially dangerous wear, they would bring it to my attention. If you need anything done involving your tires, I would NOT recommend coming here. Take your vehicle somewhere that actually inspects the condition and wear of your tires. Tires are a critical safety component, and severe inner edge wear can be difficult for the average driver to see. This is a huge safety concern for me. My tires were worn badly enough on the inside that I could have experienced a tire failure on the freeway, yet I left my previous service without anyone warning me. Customers should know that having their tires rotated at Valvoline does not necessarily mean their tires are being inspected for dangerous wear.

I had a feeling this was the kind of business we wanted to support, and they absolutely did not disappoint! We brought in our RAM for an oil change and a pre-trip inspection before driving back east. Alex, Evi, and Yvonne were all wonderful to deal with. Yvonne was friendly and helpful when answering the phone and getting our paperwork taken care of. What really impressed me was the honesty. On our way to the shop, my mother-in-law and I had a private conversation about the truck's A/C not blowing quite as cold as it should. We deliberately decided not to mention it because I didn't want to create an opportunity for unnecessary repairs. When the shop called with the inspection results, they explained that the brake fluid needed to be changed and the cabin air filter needed replacing. The filter was the issue affecting the A/C airflow. That may sound like a small thing, but to me, it spoke volumes. They identified legitimate maintenance needs without us even bringing up the A/C concern. That is exactly the kind of integrity I look for in a mechanic. I was unfortunately late by 30 minutes, so I waited for two people (I think they both had alignments too?). However I was out by 90 minutes from start to finish. I think they spent about 30 minutes or less on my car which is pretty fast from my experience. They didn't scratch the rims (19 inch staggered wheels like rear 255/35R19) They used torque wrenches. Tires are well balanced using hunter road force balancer and I didn't notice any wobbling or roaring. I'll be back and on time for my other cars :)

You're greeted in your car and offered a beverage as the tech takes your order. You then pull into a well-oiled machine of an operation of inspecting and wiping down your car before the change is done. I appreciate that all fluids are also checked, and everything is presented to you with no pressure to upgrade or add-on to your service. There was one car in front of me, and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. A full synthetic change with a new filter ran about $120 with some coupons added. For the convenience of it all, the transparency of their offered services, and for some good vibes to start a weekend morning, it was well worth it. The oil change itself was from the top; I do wish they dropped the oil pan and drained it from below, but for the price and speed of the service, I can't complain.

My previous go-to mechanic tripped me with a quote of $575 for the valve gasket cover replacement (I assumed they meant the entire thing, not the rubber seal). So I went to this place due to reasonable prices. Their labor prices are also more competitive. The only downsize is that they don't do appointment. Otherwise; so far so good.
