I came in with my tailgate literally hanging on by a few wires, completely stressed about how much…read moreit might cost and whether I was simply screwed. Francisco not only reattached it, he also went ahead and tested my truck for free to make sure it could pass the smog check I needed for the DMV. He did a series of tests to see what was working and anything that may become an issue in the future, just for my knowledge. He also pulled my CarFax report for free without me even inquiring! He took the time to explain how my tailgate and its different components worked, even printing out a diagram for me so I could clearly understand my options. We discussed ways to prevent my tailgate from being tampered with or stolen in the future, and he explained what would be my best options based on safety, longevity, and cost-effectiveness. He took time after I had already left to research the right parts that would achieve what I wanted without unnecessarily driving up the cost. It's the behind the scenes work like this that I appreciate the most. His recommendations were confident and knowledgeable, but I never once felt pressured. For example, Francisco let me know that I needed an oil change, but he never tried to push me into getting one that day. He understood that my immediate concern was the tailgate, and he respected that. I was actually the one who asked whether he performed oil changes. Suffice it to say, I'll be skipping Valvoline this time and bringing my truck back to Francisco and Pearl. Pearl made sure I was comfortable while I waited and offered me full bottles of either cold or room-temperature water. That may sound like a small detail, but it meant so much more than meets the eye. Those thoughtful touches are what separate businesses that genuinely care about their customers from places that make you feel like just another person in an assembly line of others who need help too. Pearl is such a warm, personable person, and making conversation with her was genuinely lovely. I'm currently in a tight spot financially, and both Francisco and Pearl were sensitive to that without ever making me feel embarrassed or treating me differently. I never felt like a dollar sign. I was treated with dignity and given the same time, care, and respect as anyone else who walked through the door. As a woman, I've experienced a sexist gap in how I'm treated when dealing with automotive work. I've had unnecessary services pushed on me, been ignored when asking questions, or been made to feel like I shouldn't try to understand what was being done to my truck. That was absolutely not my experience here. Francisco explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and made sure I understood my choices. It's impossible not to feel safe and taken care of when he is working on your vehicle and walking you through your options. When I recently noticed a problem with my radio, I immediately called FNP to ask whether Francisco could look at it when I return to have a safety guard installed on my tailgate. He added it to my notes, and now I can let go of that worry knowing he'll examine it and tell me honestly what the best next step is. Their administrative workflow has been perfected to allow for notes like this, quotes being sent and accepted/denied, etc. The process is smooth, start to finish. I have never had a better experience with an auto repair shop. Francisco and Pearl truly went above and beyond. Trust me: you will not regret going to FNP. These are exactly the kind of people and small businesses worth supporting, and I plan to be a customer of theirs for a very long time.

FNP Auto reached out in under 5 minutes. Francisco handled everything right. Clear communication, no guessing, no runaround. Broke down parts, labor, and timing so I knew exactly what was happening. Pulled up right before closing around 5:30 PM and was still taken care of without any rush. Hit happened Tuesday. Found them the same day. Parts came in Friday. Dropped the car off at 1:30pm and it was done by around 5pm. Fast, efficient, and professional. Appreciate the work. Would recommend.

I pulled into EMT and ask Edgar if he could just take off the parts that was hanging, and so he did and clipped some of the other part that was not securely fastened. He did exactly what I was looking to have done and he did it on the spot no appointment and he didn't charge me. It's just unheard of these days. What a diamond in the rough. I will certainly be back to EMT when I need mechanical work on my car. Edgar, thank you so very much for the great/amazing service. I will be spreading your awesomeness all over town.!

My first experience was in September 2025 after my wife was in a minor accident. A local shop quoted her $1,700 for the repairs. Based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law (our family's "car guru"), I reached out to Edgar. He quoted me $1,200 for the exact same work. It was a no-brainer, and the results were perfect. I recently went back after the dealership gave me a staggering $5,500 quote for a laundry list of items (brakes, axles, plugs, belts, etc.). Edgar looked at the same list and came back at $2,100. I went in yesterday for the brakes and drive belt, and he had me in and out in just two hours! It is rare to find a mechanic with this level of integrity and efficiency. I'll be back next month for the axles and spark plugs--and likely tires, too. Thanks again, Edgar, for taking such great care of our cars and our budget!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH GUSTAFSON BROTHERS!…read more After my car was hit by an uninsured driver, I was so stressed and terrified that because my car is older, it would be totaled and I'd suddenly be stuck with a car payment. Gustafson Brothers was AMAZING! They walked me through every step, kept me updated throughout the process, and made a stressful situation so much easier. Best of all--they didn't total my car! Thank God! They repaired it beautifully and had it back to me in less than two weeks! They even let me leave my rental car at their shop when I picked up my car and offered to return it for me. Talk about going above and beyond! Wonderful work, wonderful customer service, and people who truly take care of you. I HIGHLY recommend Gustafson Brothers!

I was promised completion Thursday, then Friday -- and late Thursday was told they'd broken a turbo-related component during the repair (which they acknowledged and said they'd cover). Then the replacement part turned out to be wrong for my VIN. Because of the repeated delays I had to change my Orlando flight at a cost of about $1,300, and my brother's plans to use the car for his engagement proposal that weekend fell through entirely. Nearly two weeks after drop-off, I finally picked up the car and paid over $9,000. They'd knocked off a few hundred dollars and thrown in a free detail/engine steam clean I never asked for -- not what I wanted. I asked for a $1,000 adjustment given everything I'd been through; they offered $250 and wouldn't budge. I got in the car to leave and the check-engine light came on immediately. They first told me that was "impossible," then hooked it up to diagnostics and said they needed to keep it again. During this conversation I was told "facts don't care about feelings" when I explained how poorly I felt treated. They ultimately claimed a separate, pre-existing oil-wicking issue in the wiring harness/PCM -- unrelated to what they broke -- despite having driven my car roughly 50 miles during their "verification," and despite the light being off when I dropped the car off. They encouraged me to get a second opinion. I did -- Beach Benz reviewed the paperwork and flagged concerns before even inspecting the car. Bottom line: broken part, blown deadlines, a very expensive travel disruption, $9k+ paid, and I still drove away with a check-engine light and an unresolved problem. I won't be back.
