If I could rate this establishment lower than a 1 I would. I drove from Arizona on my way to a fun pre-Christmas vacation and stopped here to get my eye brows waxed, mani/pedi and a pedi for my guy. To Short did an excellent job with my pedi. However, the lady that waxed my eyebrows really messed up my face. She burned both eyes with the wax and I had scabs and burns. My manicure was HORRIBLE! I get my nails done every two weeks and this is the most wicked and horrid experience I have ever had. I got a French manicure with a few Christmas accents - the day after the manicure, I noticed my nails were YELLOW! All ten nails turned a horrible jaundice yellow. I was HORRIFIED with my eyes and my manicure. On my way back from LA, I stopped back to show the manager my eyes and that my nails were yellow. Stephanie the manager initially carried on a civil conversation regarding what happened, but, when I mentioned that I didn't want their services, and wanted my money back for the eye brow wax and my nails, she no longer understood English, and enlisted the help of another worker. Finally, in order for me to get their attention, I informed them either they refund me the amount of the eye wax and my manicure or I would cancel the whole $125.00 transaction that I put on my credit card. After, that I got immediate attention and was given two gift certificates for the amount of the eye wax and the manicure. It is my suggestion that you go to another shop! I'm sure that there are more than this "happiness" salon in Barstow. There was nothing happy about my experience there, I had to walk around in LA which was supposed to be a fun trip with my guy, with my eyes burned and bruised. This place is ALWAYS overbooked.....more Customers than they can handle. The staff is rude. over-worked, and un-friendly. I had went in for a manicure/gel. The woman doing the work was trying to work at such a fast pace that the process was painful. She was pushing the drummel down hard to speed up the process to remove the polish, while creating cuts around my cuticles. The utensils were definitely dirty. I am so upset with this place. 1) I asked for an eyebrow, lip and chin wax. She said for the face it was $25. What I did not realize was how much of my face would be waxed. Including my sideburns. They should tell people I couldn't say no after they did one. 2) a pedicure used to be clean and shape nails, scrub/scrape bottom of feet and heel + polish. They didn't like that I wouldn't get the extra lotion/acid that took care of that for them.. so they didn't scrub my heels. It would be an extra fee. THAT IS RIDICULOUS!! 3) overall terrible price, lack of personal customer service. I've seen worse but I've also seen better. I am looking for something better in the area. Unfortunately I picked this place when I pulled it up on my phone and saw the 4 star rating! Not at all, if I could give a minus rating, it would be -10!! Staff is snooty, they don't have prices posted so they charge you whatever they want. I was charged $42 for a pedi and $42 for a new set. Absolutely the worst pedi I've received in years, I got callus remover and had to redo my feet a day later as they were already rough, not sure she used callus remover at all. My new set is not even straight and looked horrible in a week. Please do not go there. Hopefully they'll go out of business soon read more

This salon is bull. Straight up. I've come here a few times here and there. One time november 2015 I had had enough of this nail salon and their bubbles in my acrylic and messing with my money... So I vowed to never come back. Lo and behold, I get a gift certificate from family to this place. So I figure, (reluctantly) why not? It's not my money... I need an acrylic full set anyways. I go in, wait for hours, only for this lady to tell me that THEY CHARGE BY LENGTH??? ¿??? LENGTH. Really. Every half inch on acrylic is another $5. Wth! I love my nails long, but not that long.. They never did this to me before, NOBODY has . And I get my nails done regularly.. I'm thinking they just make whatever price comes up in their heads.. Don't go here they WILL swindle you. I literally drive 45 mins from fort Irwin to this place of business. The first visit they had a nail technician who were known (I didn't know) to not to do a good job on nails and pedicure. I had an entire nail to fall off the day after and my daughter could have done a better job on the pedi. So I decided to give them another try with a diff tech. I called made my appointment and ask to be scheduled with a certain tech. Get there the tech was on my nails for ten mins and she got up to let another person finished, I also got my lashes done I showed her the exact ones she done last time SHE decided she wanted use another kind. When she was finished and gave me the mirror I told her these weren't the ones I asked for and I didn't like them. She said I'll do the other ones next time!!! No I'm sorry I'll accommodate you, take some off the 80 dollars they cost., and then they start falling off the next day. I love this place! It's one of the closest salons to Fort Irwin where my family is currently stationed. I made an appointment for 11am, got there around 10:30. Within five minutes I got to soak my feet, and promptly at 11am, my pedicure was starting! I don't get a lot of time to myself, so getting out sans children is rare & a treat. I'm finally done with this place. I've grown used to the rudeness but yesterday was the last straw. I went in to get a fill. They handed me the gel colors. I chose a color that wasn't gel. When I told them I didn't want gel they told me they only have that color in gel. Every color I chose they said the same. I finally got up and walked over to the polish and handed her the polish I wanted so she could t say they didn't have it. After that she was more ride than usual. She was rough with the drill digging into my cuticle. My nails look uneven and crooked. After she was done she got up and walked away and did t say a word to me. Just went and started working on a pedi for someone else. A woman next to me also getti g her nails done was also appalled by the rudeness. The two ladies who worked with me were attentive and gentle. I was very pleased with the results and how accommodating they were with my requests. I don't get my nails done often, so the price wasn't a big deal, but it seemed pretty par for the course. Total $70 for full set with gel manicure and design, and a standard pedicure. They have a ton of gel options, more than I've seen anywhere else. Very clean as well. I will never be going back here. I was treated like complete crap when I told the man that was going to do my nails, that I didnt want him to do them. I was going to leave it at that until he threw a fit slammed down my polish and so on. The last time he did my nails they were ruined. I got gel and had lumps and bumps and dust under my polish after getting refused to let me wash my hands. Then.. the lady names Brooklyn, continuously jabbed me in the skin and was unnecessarily rough during my pedicure. And SHE got offended because I kept saying ouch. All the workers at that point started staring at me and talking amongst themselves, made me feel so uncomfortable its unreal, and all because I didnt want some screw up doing my nails. Ugh...
