Highly recommend this service. i asked for a quote and 20 minutes later received a professional response with a reasonable rate (due to the fact i needed the service within a couple hours after i reached out). i sent in a detailed message with what it is i needed in a very cluttered/dirty room i needed to be cleaned out, the owner made sure to message me throughout the clean up process making sure all was being done correctly. communication was 11/10! i received updated pictures as they cleaned, since i wasn't on site during it. I am giving this cleaning service 2 stars because in the past, they have been excellent with good pricing, but for the past couple of times, they have been a no-show. Happily cleaning, managed by Marcela Pacheco, has been sending a couple, Javier and Alicia, to our home for cleaning services over the last year. We have been very happy with them and have requested that this couple clean our home each time. The one time another pair came, our house was a complete disaster. The cleaning felt rushed and to be honest, it was not up to the standard they had previously provided. However, their service has been dwindling over the past few months. It has been harder and harder to book as Marcela for some unknown reason. All cleanings are confirmed over text message. It usually takes her 24 hours with a few reminders to respond, but this time it took almost 3 days for her to confirm a cleaning. Several text messages over the period of a week, and we were finally able to book a cleaning. This was over a month ago. The cleaning service was a no-show twice. I also never heard anything from Marcela. I called her multiple times and left several voice and text messages, and she has still not replied. Obviously this was a major inconvenience and we had to book with another agency last minute before our guest arrived. There are number of cleaning companies around Los Angeles. Choose another. Sad to see Alicia and Javier go. I wish I would have booked them privately and cut out the middle man. read more

I hired them for a post-construction cleaning. Meaning, there are no things to clean around, no dishes, nothing on the floors, or in the closets, or in the cabinets. But what there is a TON of is dust! They did an okay job on the floors and counters, but neglected the drawers, baseboards, ceiling fan and around other moldings in the apartment. Also they broke the molding above the kitchen counters, these were only held on by finishing nails so it can happen, but they didn't say anything about it. Then when I texted the company all of the above they just said there cleaning crew is very good and didn't do anything to fix it. I would look elsewhere if I were you spending your hard-earned money. I needed a home cleaning in short notice and they responded quickly and had availability. They were late by almost half an hour but they let me know they were running late. They cleaned almost the entire house and took out my trash too. For some areas they cleaned really well, like my stove is sparkling. But other places felt neglected, my windows and blinds are still dusty and the tops and bottoms of furniture still had dust. I have some pictured but not all areas, I'll just clean those myself later. They clean what they can see but not really as thorough as I was expecting of a professional cleaning service. For instance they cleaned my microwave inside and front but it was still dusty on top and underneath, I wish they would have cleaned all of it. I wanted to witness how well they cleaned without telling them what to do, maybe I should have given more direction but this is my first time having others clean my house instead of me. I can't say I'm completely satisfied but I'm happy with what they did accomplish. When I pointed something out they did clean it like a spill I had on my fridge, but there were too many areas I found to point out and didn't want to hold them here longer as it started to rain. I asked Marcela via text for specific things to be cleaned.,,, Got home to find the place generally looked good but the floors had not been mopped! Additionally the areas I asked to be cleaned weren't! I sent the fee before I check before I looked everything over (My fault on that) and then contacted (Via Text Marcela a few times) only to receive an "I'm out of town" text... So....its been two weeks, no response, not even a partial refund. I"m still not happy to say the least...I paid $260.00 and it wasn't worth it. If you book with them try to get them to answer the phone first! I get the text thing but I think talking to confirm or go over problems works better. Oh my gosh! I'm so happy we found Happily Cleaning! They are seriously THE BEST cleaning service I've ever hired by a LONG shot. So thorough, so reliable, always on time and super friendly. And, their prices are really competitive to boot! They even went on the outside of the house and cleaned the outside of the windows and exterior storage area, without even being asked to do so! As a disclaimer, I didn't know this company before today and they had no reviews. I found them on Yelp and they were very quick to respond with a quote. I was skeptical to book someone without any reviews Everything was done through Yelp, the open communication, the scheduling, and they confirmed the morning of to make sure that someone would be there to let them in. I got a call when they were here and I must say that they worked extremely hard for the two hours that we had time to clean. I am very impressed with their professionalism and their level of work- especially only given that I had a 2-hour window. Can you work miracles in two hours with two people? No, but they cleaned the fridge and stove way better than I could have and I've tried multiple- multiple-multiple times to clean that stupid stove. So all in all, if you're willing to take a chance on a new company at a competitive price with a very friendly, experienced, and hard-working team, I would definitely give "Happily Cleaning" a shot. I'm kind of kicking myself that I only used a cleaning company for moving out of my current place. Hmm.. I didn't get to experience the cleaning itself but it's the communication that's throwing me off. To cancel 15 before someones appointment due to "personal reasons" makes me question if they ever anticipated a cleaning at all. I was in great communication up until the scheduled date inquiring about services and even went as far to send my contact and address info (which doesn't usually happen unless you're serious about the service). What made it weird was canceling 15 mins before the scheduled time then turning their notifications off and never confirming a reschedule date with me. I don't know but it was if they don't want business but why go as far as to tell someone they're scheduled for a cleaning in the first place? It's just weird to waste someone's time like that. I was being ambitious with all I wanted done, and in the time they were here they exceeded my expectations! The bathroom and kitchen were deep cleaned as requested, the move out bedroom and studio space was spotless after quite a mess left behind, and the rest of the house was tidied up nicely and the floors throughout were cleaned.. which was exactly what I requested. Standard cleaning: not wiping the dishwasher door (took me 1 sec to wipe it), the fridge door and top. Just running water in the bath tub without wiping it. Stove barely wiped (had to clean it again). The product they use to clean to floor is so strong/cheap they make you feel nauseous. Marcella gives you high hopes in her texting. The cleaning I needed was for prep work for painting. I asked for a wall to be cleaned, the wall's baseboard, two doors on this same wall, and the two doors' frames. The man and woman arrived one hour late. They were supposed to arrive at 2:00 and when 2:00 came and went, I reached out to the person who arranged the cleaning. They apologized and said their previous job had taken longer than expected. The two cleaners arrived and the person who arranged the cleaning texted me to ask if I had an extra parking space. I was a little weirded out because if you're one hour late, it's kind of ballsy to ask your client if they can provide you with a place to park. Even if you're on time, it's an unusual request to make, but maybe that's just me and my own standard of professionalism. I still would've let them if I actually had an extra parking spot. When they walked up to my front door, I was warm to both of them. I said hi and asked them to please come in. They looked tired and I felt bad because I could imagine the traffic they dealt with on the way to my place. I gave them each a bottle of water. It was really hot that day and I just wanted them to be comfortable. The male cleaner had a pleasant attitude and was thorough. For whatever reason, the female cleaner had a very icy personality and exerted little effort to clean. I felt like someone had forced her to be there. When I ask for door frames to be cleaned, I obviously mean the entire door frame: outer, inner, middle, top to bottom. Common sense. The female cleaner barely swiped over the door frames. She didn't even address the top part where most of the dust accumulates. I don't understand this total lack of a work ethic. My project didn't have much space to cover, so you'd think that since she had more than enough time to be thorough, she would have been thorough, but she just couldn't be bothered. I had a bad feeling when she went inside the bathroom to clean the door frame and she wasn't even there for one minute. It was nearly impossible to communicate because neither of them spoke English. I asked if they wanted a ladder and when they didn't understand, I google imaged a picture of a ladder. I don't think any less of them because they don't speak English, but client satisfaction becomes more difficult when you can't communicate. I was told upon booking the appointment that they charge $80 an hour and that they have a two-hour minimum. I felt $160 was a fair price. After 40 minutes, they told me they were finished. I paid $160 for 40 minutes when what I wanted cleaned barely even got touched? Wow. Maybe it wouldn't have taken the entire two hours since my project was not extensive - but - had the job been done THOROUGHLY, they would have been there for at least an hour and a half. And professional cleaners would be as thorough as possible instead of ignoring many areas the client requested to be cleaned. Professional cleaners would also say: Since we're done 80 minutes early and you will be paying full price, is there anything else we can clean? What kind of a job do they do when they have two hours to clean MUCH, MUCH more? I asked them to also clean the front door and its door frame if they had time. Unfortunately, the female cleaner was also the one who "cleaned" this area. I noticed she'd failed to clean the top part of the door frame again but I didn't even try to ask her to address it because of her attitude. I instead asked the male to clean it and when he did, the rag he used became instantly dirty from the dust the female had left untouched. Then she had the nerve to tell him he'd missed a spot when it was initially her job to do it. It was a waste of time and money and I had to redo it after they left in order to properly prepare for the paint job. My white rags turned gray from all the spots that were missed. The top part of the bathroom's door frame was FULL of dust. No idea whose standard of clean this company's work would satisfy. They can't claim I wasn't clear about what I wanted to get cleaned. See the attached screenshot of the text I sent them when making the appointment. When I told the person who'd set it up that they left after 40 minutes, she said she'd told me they required a two-hour minimum, so I'd still need to pay the full $160. Ok, great, but then they should stay at least an hour and a half and cover ALL the areas I originally asked to be covered. Also, if this company was ethical, they would've given me some sort of a discount for their workers arriving one hour late and then leaving 80 minutes early. Most people would be furious at such a late arrival but I was understanding and only asked them to keep me posted about arrival time. Originally scheduled deep cleaning for Friday, 7/2nd and worker called in sick so rescheduled to Sunday, July 4th. Due to miscommunication, the work performed, was considered regular (minimal) by the company vs. the deep clean I had requested. Hence, I was displeased! Also, the workers did not speak English so it was very hard to communicate my requests regarding the work. One worker mopped, not scrub clean, the wood floors, totally missing the family room! He also took out about 10 bags of trash, dusted and cleaned the living room adequately, working non-stop for 3 -1/4hrs. The other worker minimally cleaned 2 bathrooms and 2 bdrms. I have used these cleaners for months and they used to be great, but progressively gotten worse. They show up on the right day about 1 every 10 cleanings. They are late every time. They have been over 10 hours late before (cleaning was scheduled in the morning and they didn't come until about 7 at night and they blamed traffic! ). The main contact, Mar is not responsive at all. She doesn't respond to any complaints or questions. She doesn't respond when the cleaners don't show up. It's always a gamble if they show up. The final straw was when the cleaners left the plastic cutting board in the oven under a metal cookie sheet and almost caused a house fire once the oven was used. (I checked the oven, but it was hidden from the cookie sheet). I know for a fact it was the cleaners because as soon as they left, the cutting board disappeared, but I assumed it was hidden in a drawer, not hidden under a cookie sheet in the oven. Due to the lack of response, poor quality cleaning and now this, I can't give more than a 1 star. If they at least were responsive or able to work with me then this would be different, but I just get ignored. read more

The nicest couple I've ever met. I got way more than I expected, my kitchen, both restrooms and floors were glistening once they were finished. I've had my home cleaned before and spent more for less, I will be using them again. They washed my few dishes, cleaned all my appliances, spots on the walls and every window which I've never had from a cleaning service.
