First of all I have to say when employees are friendly and positive it truly makes all the difference. There was this older woman working and she was literally so sweet!!! She was really helpful, encouraged us to try stuff on and also when she had a question about something with the register she was completely honest with us and thanked us a bunch of times for being patient. This is the type of service you want! Just because of her we plan to come back!! BUT ALSO - can we talk about the clothing in here!? LOVE LOVE LOVE - I got the cutest pants that can be dressed up or down and then also got this really cute sporting little jacket that was 50% off! I couldn't be happier with my quality purchases! Two other people walk in and she couldn't be more friendly to them and did not ask them to use the hand sanitizer at all... truly this girl had a horrible jealously and attitude problem. When working in retail it's probably a good idea to be friendly to everyone... we wanted to buy some cute things but didn't because of her.

Oh Dado how I miss you on Park Avenue, now I must drive all the way to Pittsford to visit you!…read more Dado Boutique is a trendy little boutique located at the intersection of Clover and Monroe avenue in PIttsford and though its no longer just steps away it still has the same charm it did when it first opened. Owner Dalida Atallah has really brought something special to Rochester with Dado. One trip to her store and you will understand her aesthetic, the girl has impeccable taste. If that's not enough the store is impossibly clean with each of the garments hung perfectly spaced apart while center tables hold accessories. A type A personality who understands the importance of presentation? Whats not to like?! Be warned: Though Dado is just minutes down the street from Marshalls and TJ Maxx, it is expensive. The store carries high end brands like Elizabeth & James and more popular brands like French Connection but don't let that scare you away, Atallah has great sales (Up to 30% off) often so its worth a visit. Perhaps some holiday money could buy you a fabulous New Years Eve dress. It's possible you've gotten a glimpse of what Dado has to offer if you've attended any of the local fashion shows. Most recently a Dado show raised over $100,000 for the Wilmot Cancer Center. A small business helping a local charity makes my 8 minute drive to Pittsford worth while. Dado is fashion and class all rolled in to one.

A cute shop, but definitely pricey…read more I genuinely like the clothing and think it's beautiful, especially all the gorgeous patterns. The clothes are like a work of art. However, because of this, I can't fathom spending $70 on a strawberry printed rain jacket, for example. Highly trendy, but I personally don't like to overly spend on trends. If your closet is already a rainbow explosion, it might be perfect for you. That being said, when I walked in it was not much of a vintage shop. Over 90% of the clothes were brand new with a few vintage items sprinkled in. Perhaps it was more vintage-oriented when it opened, but it seems to just be a boutique now. I'd definitely visit again if only to see if something particularly catches my eye.
