His company was advised in advance that the job called for (1) replacing 4 lights in a vaulted ceiling that would require a tall ladder and (2) repairing a light fixture in a shower. He showed up ahead of schedule and was able to quickly fix the shower light by simply resetting the ground fault switch in another bathroom on another floor. However, he was unprepared to address any of the lights in the vaulted ceiling as he did not bother to bring the appropriate sized ladder. Nor did his company inform me beforehand that changing the light bulbs would require a minimum of two service calls (billed separately for two technicians per visit). During the second visit, he and his assistant brought a taller ladder which was just tall enough for his assistant dangerously perched on the top step, stretching to his arm's limit to reach the ceiling lights. I feared he might topple off the ladder at any moment as he extended to reach the highest fixtures. One of the 4 fixtures failed to work with the new bulbs. This was not their fault although it was puzzling as the fixture was working before the bulbs burned out. I was advised the cause might be a loose wire but the assistant couldn't tell. They would need to come back later with an even taller ladder (for an additional service charge). When I balked at the inefficiency of not coming prepared with different size ladders, Mr. Fairclough raised his voice, shouting at me, and was extremely rude, telling me "If you can't afford it then you shouldn't live in such a big house with such high ceilings." His behavior was unprofessional and uncalled for as I had only questioned why he hadn't considered bringing ladders of different lengths. I'm glad my son was home, as his behavior was bullying and aggressively defensive in response to a simple question. When I called out his behavior as unprofessional, he stated that he was not going to return to complete the service and offered a discounted rate for the unsatisfactory second visit

Best Electricians I have ever worked with. On time, on budget, worked well with me to ensure…read moreprojects came out the way I wanted it done. To Date that have done three projects for us: 1. Electrical contractor that wired our in ground pool (2004)- 100 AMP service to pool pad, wired 5 pumps, and Jandy Controls - first class job - neat clean - could not have come out better. 2. Installed / upgraded electrical service in our home 100 AMP to 400 AMP (2004), underground from street to house - again first rate. 3. Installed and wired Whole Generator - including 400 AMP service entrance automated transfer switch (ATS) .(2015) - simply perfect job, clean, straight, done the way that I asked them to do it.....There was a question about installing ATS outside next to the meter pan, or down stairs near the main load center for the house....most electricians wanted to install outside where it was the quickest & easiest to do....but Joe (Co-owner) said it would be better to place down stairs in basement ...cleaner, drier. less apt to rust or deteriorate over time..that is where we ended up placing it...and that was the right place to put it. I got the sense they were doing the work as if they were working on their own family home. Only issue is that they are real busy in the summer time - so I was very happy to schedule my job around the time of the year that they could do it - well worth the wait.
