My wedding was originally scheduled before the pandemic. As things started to shut down, things started to get scared. Vendors started pushing back, doing dark, etc and, Nikki was the first one to call and help work through solutions. She even offered to get on the phone with me to problem solve with the more difficult vendors who refused to put the wedding on hold until they were given more money! We re-scheduled for a smaller wedding, and I opted out of a wedding planner. The event took place in several locations. It was hot, and the bridal party included small children and a baby. I created custom timelines for everyone. As usual, the day got off to a late start and it started to get very stressful. Nikki was the only person who had the timeline in hand, and she was watching the clock like a hawk to make sure everyone got back on and stayed on track. I could not believe how she was able to capture such amazing photos while stepping in as the planner. In terms of photography, while I had particular requests for the photos I wanted, she brought brilliant ideas to the table. The entire day (as well as throughout our engagement photos), she was fun, easy-going, and made my husband, who hates taking pictures and is usually very serious, lighten up and laugh. The entire family took joy in working with her. Oh, and when we encountered venue staff who did not want to let us take pics or put a limit on it (during both engagement and wedding), she was able to negotiate and work with them until we got the perfect shot. I got my wedding photos back quickly and was in total awe. Throughout the entire process, she was very communicative and prompt. I'm not sure how this superhuman manages to crush it at her job, on top of everything else. I am so grateful to Nikki for being a part of my special day. Anyone would be a fool to hire anyone other than Nikki to capture and be a part of the most special day.

Most of the time, we were just walking, playing, exploring the streams, and tickling our daughter. And she captured it all! We wasted no time making prints, creating photo books for our family, and placing them on our walls to admire them everyday. We loved them so much that we already booked with her for this year. Fast forward and she has done our engagement photos, wedding photos, maternity, newborn sessions, one year photos, and our family photos every year. After every session with her I get told by everyone who sees them how beautiful our photos are and people are always asking who my photographer is. Our photos turned out so adorable that it was a no brained to do another milestone photo at one year with Camarie. At one we did a shoot at a local spot and my daughter did awful, would not stop crying but Camarie managed to get some shots we were able to use for her birthday and the rest are memories. She was incredibly patient with us during the entire shoot. We were actually one of her last shoots before she moved but were able to book her for a family/maternity shoot while she had prior committed events in the upcoming months.
