My parents are Spanish speakers who aren't comfortable with English, but that was no problem for Marina and Josh, who communicated so well with them. They inspired some of the loveliest pictures I have of my parents! For my engagement photos, Aniram not only captured candid memories of our love for each other but also for the city of Los Angeles. They made our experience truly special with their adventurous and charismatic attitudes. If you want a special experience being photographed with your loved ones, Aniram will not disappoint you :)

From start to finish, her communication was amazing. She even had me come to her beautiful studio beforehand to try on outfits, and she provides so many beautiful options to choose from. I also had my hair and makeup done at the studio before the shoot, which made everything so easy. Summer took so much time with us and never made the session feel rushed. She made me feel genuinely beautiful and confident and had us laughing the entire time. She is so friendly, funny, kind, and also made my husband feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and I'm so grateful she captured such a special time in our lives. We will definitely be back for newborn photos! I would recommend Summer to anyone looking for maternity, newborn, or family photos.

Misti was very nice and professional when it came to the planning and showing up for the wedding…read more She took pictures with nice views and distances. Problem was that we discussed prior to the signing of the contract that we would like to have our pictures edited a certain way. More dark and cool, not so shaded and tan/warms. We wanted this cause it would look beautiful with the dark trees of the forest as well as my dark hair against my pale skin. I also didn't want my skin blending into my ivory dress. We gave her 3 example pictures of how we would like it as well. She agreed on many occasions that it would be okay. We also verified with her on the DAY OF our wedding that it would be done that way and she assured us. When we received our pictures 3 weeks later, NONE of them were as discussed and when we told her what we discussed she then deleted ALL of our pictures (about 150-200) from the link and only re-edited about 15 of them to the picture editing we discussed. Not to mention they were done very quickly and just looked really bad. My face looked dark. I was able to download most of them before she deleted them from the link but it's more so a disappointment because it was not what we disused and we can't get this day back. This was suppose to be a really BIG SPECIAL time in our lives. I live with this sadness now. So disappointed. Edit: I have attached our email correspondence and the 3 pictures we asked for the editing to look like and she agreed she could do BEFORE we signed the contract. I also attached the photos she took and edited. Her editing style is pretty, yes but it's the fact that it's not what we all discussed and agreed upon. We were under the impression of at least receiving 50-50 her style and the style we discussed but that's not what happened. At the end of the day my husband and I decided to just take what we got and move forward because it's not like anything will change and there are 2 sides to every story. This review is written because we are hurt and disappointed but it is what it is.

Misti is a lifestyle photographer. Our posed pictures are great, but the photos of us just being silly and enjoying the lake/forest together are so beautiful. She really captured my families love and happiness. It wasn't easy getting our 8 month old to look and smile at the camera, but she was very patient and worked around us. She got tons of great shots. Although she's busy, she still gets your photos to you quickly. For me personally, she does the right amount of editing and filtering. All the photos were cropped perfectly as well (I'm very particular). She truly is an amazing photographer/artist. Our photo shoot with Misti was worth the drive up to the mountains. She's super affordable and worth every penny. She really made my vision come to life and I will cherish our first family photos forever! I would definitely book her in the future for all my family's photos.

I just didn't think I'd feel up to it. My friends convinced me that I'd regret it if I didn't take at least some photos so I hired Jen for a low key shoot out in Cherry Valley. Jen made it SO easy. She was upbeat and professional and somehow managed to take photos that made me feel like I finally had that maternity glow I was promised! She is professional, talented and her attitude is amazing. She made us feel great the whole time. She kept the shoot simple and low key for me (per my request due to stress levels) and somehow managed to get some really Pinterest worthy shots. Now I can't wait to add these to my baby book. THANK YOU JENNIFER!

All of my previous sentiments and comments still ring so so true 2 years later! I reposted some of my favorite wedding photos on Facebook in celebration of our wedding and still received so many compliments about how beautiful the photos are. Not to brag, but we've been to many weddings since our own and seen the photos afterwards, and we still think Laarne is the best in the business! We have many displayed around our home and we really couldn't be any happier! Laarne gave us the gift of these amazing photos which we will cherish for a lifetime! Now, if only I could muster the energy to finally print them all out for our photo album, lol!

We needed to figure out where to allocate what funds, but I cried at the idea of having shitty Craigslist quality photography done of our wedding reception. I knew it was a once-in-a-lifetime (if you're lucky) event to photograph, but at the same time we couldn't fathom spending $8k+ on photography (with ONE shooter) then feeding our guests In N Out burgers (they had locally grown grass-fed steak named Betsy, MooMoo, and Lily. I hand picked them out to be brought out back.) If I can close my eyes and wish for a photographer with a customized perfect style/skill, a fair price, and well, a ridiculously fun personality, Laarne is it. I can't recommend them enough to any SoCal brides. She is SO talented, so funny, so sweet, and just. Well. I just spent an hour crying in my car looking through our photos. CRYING! I am now reliving moments that passed too quickly, and also experiencing details I never got to see because we were so busy! Laarne love, we adore you SO much. Thank you a MILLION.

I was attracted to her work because I felt like she had a way of making the subject shine without having overly edited photographs. More importantly, I felt like her photos were able to capture the emotions of the moment. From the moment we interviewed her until even after we received our deliverables she was incredibly sweet, accommodating, and very responsive. Brides I can't emphasize how important it is to choose a vendor that is responsive. It really helps to ease any anxiety you may have as you get closer to the wedding to have a vendor who is responsive and flexible with your needs. We had her for a 10 hour day but she ended up staying longer than that to help capture the final moments of our night. We had a 3 part wedding with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony and she did such a beautiful job capturing the most beautiful candid moments of my family despite how chaotic our day was. In addition to being exceptionally professional, she went above and beyond our expectations. In addition to our online gallery, we received a beautiful album, polaroids, and film photos from our day as well as additional video clips of our day that she shot throughout the day. She wasn't just our photographer she was our content creator as well. lol. I'm so thankful to have had her there to capture one of the most important day of my life. Such a beautiful soul to work with and the work she produced was incredible as well! 100% the best decision I made for my wedding...(aside from marrying my husband obviously) Well worth the price and I would definitely hire her again!
