The work required tricky integration of new and existing materials and designs. Throughout, Nissen's craftsmanship and communication with us were first rate. We were impressed with their high standards, hard work, technical knowledge, creative problem-solving, good humor and timely and respectful approach to the work. Nissen's small team is highly skilled and able to handle varied tasks with minimal subcontracting. They have excellent knowledge of materials, sourcing most supplies locally while ordering several large deck replacement posts from Idaho. Nissen's approach to layout of unusually large and heavy tiles for one shower was ingenious: the team worked out the entire pattern flat on the ground in our yard, moving around different pieces to maximize design flow across tiles before cutting and installing. We are happy with the results and would be pleased to use CM Nissen again!

The awning WAS damaged when one of the workers, while pulling hard to remove the old siding, lost his balance and stepped back off of the platform placed to protect the awning, coming down hard. I am happy with the repair to the repair. Just wish that I had not had to go through the hassle. I have seen other work that they have done nearby and it appears to be well done. I did go to update the review after the repair was made. Apparently that is not something that can be done...at least on a phone.
