I was told their team would start between 4/21-4/25 and the project was supposed to last less than 5 business days. Fast forward to the project actually getting scheduled, the work was haphazard and did not get completed until 6/1 and I had to call them to find out when they would finish the project. To top it all off they charged me 50% more than the original quote and overcharged on other items like spring clean up and fertilization. When I asked for a revised invoice instead of sending that they decided to send me the same invoice over again and charge me late fees. This company clearly can't handle the businesses that they are in and I will not be using them again.

He said it would be about 10 days, and I said "no rush - just take your time and do a good job." So yesterday it occurred to me that hmm, I wonder how my frame is doing? So I called and left a message. And today, with no call back, I called again, and they said it's done - and that they normally call when something is ready. Fine, so I head over. When I pick it up they say not to move it around, because the chalk is delicate, and it wasn't sprayed. And I look and see chalk dust all on the inside of the frame. So I ask, "Should it have been sprayed?" And she said, "Well, a lot of artists don't like them sprayed because it changes the color." And I said "Well I suppose it's too late to spray it because now it's framed." And she said, "Well, he (the framer) probably didn't know." And I said it would have been nice to be consulted on this option before or during the framing process. And she was completely indifferent about it. I frankly told her what a bad experience this was, and she said "All I can do is apologize for that." I would expect to be guided through a process of framing fine art, or chalk, or whatever it is. And hearing all the options necessary to protect and display a piece of art, that I can enjoy for years to come. Now when I look at it, I'll likely shake my head in disgust.

When they came to pick it up, the remote-controlled lift gouged our driveway badly in 2 spots. After speaking to Mike at UNITS, he requested photos, and said he would get back to us that evening. Never received a call back. No "how can we make this right?" response. Nothing. We are certain that if we had gouged their unit like this, we would be hearing from them. Now, 45 days later, the owner called! He doesn't like the one star review. Said he would come and take a look. Guess what? He never showed, or called us back either. We do NOT recommend that anyone use this company. They are not customer-friendly and do not respect your property. You will be disappointed.

I was able to successfully coordinate a challenging and complex move from Northern Virginia to Minneapolis with the awesome help of Mike and Rich from the Minneapolis end. The container was delivered right on time by Dane and removed as soon as it got unloaded by the crew from the also excellent Twin Cities Moving Solutions that often partners locally with Units. Bonus: these guys are artists at placing the containers exactly where you need them, at a home or on a public street and it's an impressive process to watch.
