Ralph's Tree Service was quick to respond with estimate for Palm Tree removal…read more The crew was punctual, efficient and did a great job! Ralph stayed in constant contact with me throughout. I would hire them again and would recommend to anyone.

Ralph and his crew (of 3) did a great job on cutting my overgrown backyard ficus trees…read more I definitely would use them again. I received from them the best competitive price out of the 4 tree companies I looked at. The other ones had the largest number of reviews while Ralph has a decent amount. Ralph's can also be found under Santa Monica Tree Service. More reviews (13) are found under homeadvisor and with some found under G oo gle. He has been in the industry for awhile and with his brother's Treeworks. Searching his number will get your results. He was able to show me his license, insurance, and bond documents perfectly much on hand. And he is licensed to do business in Santa Monica. The three others never mentioned this last legal license. However the job wasn't perfect, all minor. There were a decent amount of twigs under the trees. And the cutters missed a tree top corner area that I had to point out to a guy. The guy use a very long tree trimmer pole to cut. They drop a few pieces of debris into my neighbors yard which is a no-no but they cleared it up. A few treetop cuttings drop on my bluestone patio so tree sap marks are there until the next rainstorm. So a lesson for any tree client is to review their work periodically. I was charge the credit card fee which was passed along instead of being absorbed as cost of doing business but their price was significantly better than one else, I didn't hesitate. I didn't tip the guys since I didn't know it was customary and I didn't see anything above and beyond. If they corrected the minor stuff, I would have tipped. So do call Ralph for a competitive quote. He is in my contacts for the future as good quality fair priced contractors are hard to find in LA.

There's a lot of open, dead space in the venue so they could definitely liven it up a little more but it's otherwise a really fun place. I think it's probably somewhere that you'd want to bring at least a group of 4

The service on the day was very disappointing. Often, we were unable to find our party host. The food was very delayed coming out despite my asking multiple times beforehand that it be delivered promptly. They do not provide any water to guests - part of the party package is one drink ticket per kid and the options are bottles of water, gatorade, or soda. You can imagine that every kid picked gatorade and was over-sugared and dehydrated. I asked for pitchers of water. The arcade is a room with about 10 games - only half of which work + all of which are filthy. They are very expensive. Our races started almost 30 minutes late. What should have been a fun party ended up being an extra hour long, and really expensive. I have not recommended this venue to friends. No one at corporate, or the venue, has addressed my issues as of April 14, 2026. 4/23/26 Update: Thanks for responding, Jane D. I emailed and called both corporate and the location and no one has gotten back to me. You can send me a direct number and I'll reach out.

This fair does have rides , which looked pretty fun. The food was your typical fair food, everything we tried was ok. I appreciated the security at the front entrance checking people in. There was a good command presence, and they did a good job walking around making sure everything was on the up and up. There were plenty of tables and chairs to eat and enjoy the live entertainment. The crowd was having fun and the volunteers did a good job keeping everything running smoothly. It's always nice to support the local schools They have silent auction and hourly 50/50 raffles. The parking lot gets full rather quickly, so expect to look for street parking. All in all it was a fun outing

This is one of the few fairs that runs in the city annually as a fundraiser for the church/school…read more While it is a nice community event, the latest iteration does leave quite a bit to be desired. The amount of carnival games I almost non-existent for a fair, as there were only 6 games total for attendees to play. Definitely not enough variety for kids. And winning tickets which they needed to redeem for prizes that looked rather sad and definitely not even worth $1, even for 6+ tickets is just sad. A slightly positive in that most games were priced reasonably for current standards at $3-5 ea play. The lines for the rides were all very lengthy and doubt you could really get your money's worth from the unlimited ride wristband. Otherwise each ride would cost from $6 and up. The food selection was average though with plenty of varied options. While I do like to support the local community when I can, not sure I would attend this again next year with the decrease in carnival type atmosphere and seemingly more of a pocketbook stretcher to get any fun out of this fair.
