Visited with my elderly mother today so she could cash out a CD she had there…read more As we were standing far away from any employees, a man entered with a large bag of coins to use their coin exchanger machine. He was told that the machine is turned off an hour before closing. As my mother and I stood making a coffee, very far from any employee, she commented "I wonder why they close it down an hour before the bank closes" and I replied to her "well probably because they don't want to have to work past closing time, so if they have to remove the coins from the machine before leaving at noon, that would force them to stay past noon time which I am sure is why they shut down the machine an hour early". Well next thing we knew, a bank employee walked over to us, and in a very scolding tone said to us: "I do not appreciate you making such statements" or something to that effect. I was shocked - in fact my mother immediately commented "this was a private conversation, it's none of your business what we say between ourselves". We felt this was very rude of him. So I asked for the employee's name - all I got was "John" (no last name) and he also informed me that he was the bank manager! Wow. Never ever putting $100k+ into this bank again, ciao!

A cool feature that you don't see too often is that they refund your ATM fees every month (up to $10). I don't use ATMs too often, so when I do it's great to know I'll be getting the fee right back.
