This place is GREAT! If you need car repair close to Daytona Beach, this is the place to go. Very FAIR and trustworthy!
During Spring Break '16, my daughter calls me in Kentucky to say that her car is overheating. She had already added water and coolant albeit to the overflow jug. I looked on line to find a shop. I called several to see if anyone could look at it quickly since this was Thursday afternoon and she was supposed to leave in two days to head back to Kentucky. I talked to Wayne at Hansgard's. He said they were closing in 15 minutes, but that if she got there he would take a look to see what was going on. I had spoken to another shop during my quest to find help. I inadvertently gave my daughter the incorrect address. We ended up at a different shop that couldn't get to us until the next afternoon. Realizing that I had missed Wayne due to them closing, I thought we were going to have to wait until the next afternoon. Low and behold, I get a call from Wayne out of the blue. He says he was still at the shop....30 minutes past closing waiting on my daughter. I was so appreciative that he cared enough to call me back! Wayne said they would be happy to get her car in at 7:30 Friday morning. My daughter took her car in to Hansgard's at 7:30 Friday. Wayne was very kind and helpful. After an inspection, he determined there was in fact a leak. I'm certain Wayne spent more time on the car than he charged me for. He even took the time to show my daughter how to properly fill the radiator and what to look for during her long trip back to Kentucky. I spoke to him after the repair and the price was more than fair. I was scared to death to know how they may treat someone from out of town and over the phone. I couldn't be happier, and he reassured me she would be safe to drive the car to Kentucky. She did in fact make it home and the car is well too! Thanks, Wayne!
